台中的泰式料理真的很多。這間以前來外帶過。看舊文。不過也已經隔了很久,所以這天決定再來一次。這次點的跟上次都沒重複到,而且都是非常一般,大家可能都會點的餐點。因為這天是平日,而且其實也有點晚了,因此店裡面沒有多少人。我們先來看看菜單吧!

There are so many Thai places in Taichung. We'd tried the food here before, but it's been a long while since then. We decided to come here again. None of the dishes we ordered this time were the same as the ones we ordered last time. See old post. These were quite ordinary dishes. Dishes that everyone would order. Seeing that it was a weekday, and it was a little past lunch time, there were only a few people at the shop. Let's look at the menu first.

泰鑽是天仙爸媽的友人推薦的一間泰國餐廳。這位長輩友人其實也去過不少次泰國。天仙爸媽這次推薦來這兒用餐,想說既然這位友人這麼親賴這間,想必一定有值得被推薦之處吧!

This Thai place was recommended by a friend of my parents. This friend of theirs had been to Thailand several times, so we thought highly his recommendation.

日前在探訪食記的時候發現這間。一知道是泰國人開的,心裡就想說:應該很道地吧!於是有次回台中就找了個機會來一探究竟。

I discovered this place while browsing through food blogs. Apparently, the owners are Thais! I thought: this could be it! Real, authentic Thai food!

差點忘了鹿港食記還有這篇沒寫。話說,這天剛好天仙爸媽也有空,腦供就載著他岳父岳母來鹿港玩玩。因為說很久了,終於有機會可以帶他們來了。但礙於腦供本來就不是個愛逛街,愛亂吃的人,所以吃完肉包以後,就卡住了!接下來要吃什麼呢?

我們先逛了一下,來到了天后宮再決定。當天廟裡剛好有活動,進去湊個熱鬧,拍個幾張照片後,不能再逃避了!這下到底要吃啥好?我看到這間食尚玩家有來過,想說應該不至於是雷。眼看人潮也蠻多的,大家就同意來試試看這間的蚵仔煎了。

沒吃過這兩間包子,沒說你來過鹿港。據說,在地人吃的都是老龍師,而阿振都是外地人在買的。其實在地人吃什麼,外地人要不要跟著在地人腳步走,我覺得沒那麼重要。重要的是,你得看你自己喜歡哪一間的口味啊。這兩間都在龍山寺附近。來到鹿港除了逛逛老街,去龍山寺逛逛、拜拜之外,也別忘了買個包子來嚐嚐。

There are two types of meat buns you simply must try when you come to Lukang. Don't tell people you've been to Lukang until you've tried them! Some say that 老龍師(Old Dragon Master, Laolongshi) suit the taste of the locals more, and 阿振 (Azheng) meat buns are for visitors. Well, I think what's more important is what you, yourself, prefer! These are quite close to Longshan Temple, and the Old Street. So they're not hard to locate!

不知道已經看了幾篇大家分享的食記。心想說:再怎麼說本姑娘也是未來的彰化媳婦兒,怎麼可以不跟進!於是這次到了彰化,就吵著一定要來這間。即使未來的婆婆早就買好燒餅跟豆漿,嗑完之後還是硬要來。

I've seen a few blog entries on this cafe, and had wanted to come and try it myself. Whenever we come to Changhua, we never had time to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee or a light meal. This time, even though my future-mother-in-law, without knowing I had other plans, had already bought us breakfast, I still insisted that we come!

這天有機會來常常正牌米糕其實是一個很好笑的意外。話說我們這天從台北出發,我報錯路,誤以為目的地在清水,因此就將行程規畫在清水吃午餐後直接抵達目的地。沒想到後來重新看了地圖才發現根本就不在清水啊。不過這樣誤打誤撞還算是有收穫啦!畢竟這間也是有名氣的米糕店(雖然米糕有我不吃的豬肉)。

It was an accident that we got to try out this rice-cake place. I thought our destination was around the neighbourhood. It turned out that it was no where near here. Oops! But anyhow, it was a nice accident after all, since this experience was not bad at all. This place is apparently quite famous.

千萬別被照片騙了。還好這天白平衡沒調好,看起來也沒多好吃。話說這天剛好是前一天晚上吃了蘇杭的隔天。不要說我們早就在國外多年寵壞的味蕾,前一天的美味也把這間完全比下去了。

這天來到中友想說選擇比較多。剛好這天行李少,吃完可以直接去坐車回台北。來到這間看還有位子,就進去了。起初以為這麼多人應該不差吧。誰知道完全不是我們的菜。

「蘇杭」在台北已經算是老字號的江浙小館。不過自「德安」轉型為「新時代購物廣場」後對台中人來說也算是新的體驗。家父家母得知這間店後非常的開心。一逮到機會就來嚐嚐。江浙菜與上海味其實比較接近天仙家裡常吃的到的料理。天仙媽自從天仙上了大學後就沒有天天開伙的習慣。加上有些菜其實很費工夫,因此不適特殊節慶還吃不到!不過懶得備料烹調的結果就是,會去者些比較接近我們口味的餐廳才滿足味覺囉。

Zhejian cuisine is the style of our family cuisine. Since college though, mum has stopped cooking every meal for us. Some Zhejian cuisine are quite complicated to prepare, thus we only get to taste some of them during special occasions. If we're too lazy to prepare, sometimes we'd visit restaurants like this one, to satisfy our taste buds.

在貼這篇食記之前,我思慮了很久。到底要不要貼呢?好吃歸好吃,也很值得跟大家分享。只是會不會一張貼出來,客人的增加反倒成了他們的困擾了呢?後來想想,我實在是太看得起自己了。最好是這裡的人氣有能力讓一間餐廳人氣暴增到人家忙不過來喔~

好東西私藏不跟大家分享實在是說不過去。

I considered sharing this post for a while before actually posting it. It's a great place, with great food. However, I worried about it beceoming too popular after sharing this online. Then, I realised that I was probably overestimating myself... My humble little blog doesn't have the power to attract so many people to this place that they wouldn't be able to handle!

話說有啤酒的地方就有天仙。這雖不是我第一次來布娜飛,但這間分店倒是頭一次來。第一次去的板橋店,而且還是痞客邦招待的(看舊文)。更扯的是,上次竟然沒喝到啤酒(懊惱)。這次與同是啤酒控的好友相約在此,就知道除了美食還有什麼啦!

This was not my first visit to Bravo Beer. But this was the first visit to this location. The first time was in Banciao. It was during a special event that Pixnet had held for us. This time, I came here with a good friend of mine, also a beer lover. It was the perfect place for us to hang out!

情人節那天四個女人一同在台中市亂晃之後,到了傍晚肚子還是餓了。原本大家試圖在自己手機上找找附近有哪些好吃的,結果沒想到一去,竟撲了個空!

與其說撲了個空,倒不如說被人家趕出門吧!店家就直接了當地跟我們說今天沒位子。所以就只好摸摸鼻子又走出來。

After wandering around Taichung city for the day, it was time to fill up our tummies. We tried looking for a decent place around where we were, but it turned out a wild goose chase.

有的時候不需要精心策畫,靠著感覺走就可以達到目的。這天的行程就是這樣擇日不如撞日所得到的結果。一整天的行程,說穿了就是在台中胡逛亂晃。但因好友的陪伴,使得年假有了個圓滿的收尾。這天的行程,是以啤酒做開場,也是以啤酒做收尾。真的是很符合我的酒鬼形象。但是要喝得開心,也要喝的負責任啊!(未成年勿飲酒、開車也別喝!)

Sometimes you don't need to go through an ordeal to sort things out. Following your heart often gets things done as well. Our one-day Taichung trip was accomplished in this manner. All we did was wander around. But because we were together, it was the perfect ending to the Chinese New Year's break. We started with beer, and ended it with beer. Allow me to remind you to drink responsibly. Don't drink if you're a minor, and don't drink if you're driving!

跳入錢坑敗了650D之後,第一個要測試的就是天仙與倫敦熊最常寫的食記了!每一台相機與新主人都要有一段磨合期。如果光線佳,其實拍起來就容易上手。但燈光若有變化,再加上拍的並非靜物,那難度就高了。所以為了早日與650D熟悉,要先趕快來試拍一下靜物拍攝!這天回到台中,剛好家人提議來這間離家步行就可以抵達的日本料理店食用晚餐。據說是錢媽同事間非常推薦的一間價錢還算合理的日本料理店。反正天仙來吃日本料理也就只會吃那幾樣。不過也正因為變化不大,同樣的東西在不同間吃就更容易吃出每間店的差異了。

After spending big bucks buying a bulky DSLR - 650D, the first thing to do would be to try out one of the things that London Bear and I do most often - recording food and cuisines. It requires time for every camera and their owners to get to know each other. If the lighting is ideal, then everything becomes so much easier. If the lighting is inconstant, and you happen to be shooting moving objects, then it definitely takes more practice. So, in order to get used to this new toy, I must take all the chances I have to get used to it as quickly as I could. The family decided to dine at this Japanese restaurant, recommended by my mother's colleagues. The price was reasonable, and since it had been recommended, how bad could it be? Anyway, I always order the same kinds of dishes, so it was even easier to tell which restaurant does a better job at what.

為什麼倫敦熊會坐在一堆紅酒杯中央呢?今天是要來慶祝什麼呢?

其實天仙的家庭一直都很習慣靠著越洋電話過個大節慶。無論是過年,中秋,生日,或是老爸老媽的結婚周年,很少有機會是剛好全家都團圓的。總是會少個一兩個人。所以呢,對於天仙家來說,團圓日就是節慶啦。不過恰巧這次團圓又有個名正言順的理由可以吃大餐~~

母親節大餐!?今天不是父親節嗎?難道天仙是昏了頭!?我沒有昏頭。我當然知道今天是父親節。看文之前先來祝各位爸爸們八八節快樂唷!

本來在煩惱說本周要貼什麼文好哩!翻圖片的時候突然看到這個資料夾裡的照片,想到說何不在父親節這天把母親節那天的大餐拿來用一下(哈哈!)反正爸爸節跟媽媽節差不多啦!都是要孝敬爸媽的囉!

其實爸爸媽媽們沒有一個不愛自己的孩子的。雖然有時嚴厲、有時在我們孩子眼中成了「難搞」的家長,但爸爸媽媽們其實都是為自己著想啦。瞧瞧咱們家錢媽來說好了,從小管教嚴厲,從飲食到生活習慣都管得緊緊的。但是到了這天,孩子都長大成人了,母親節大餐卻還是決定吃我們孩子們朝思暮想的泰國菜。回來到台灣以後根本吃不到真正道地的泰國菜,所以久了,只要是不難吃的,我們都還是會加減吃。但其實錢媽也才回台沒多久呀!鐵定還是為了滿足我們孩子的味蕾享受著想的囉!快來瞧瞧我們點了哪些菜~

朋友,還真的是跟酒一樣,越陳越香。其實天仙算是很幸運的吧!除了常常有機會可以認識新朋友,也常常有機會可以與老朋友聚聚。其實兩種都給人不同的感覺。雖然老朋友可以很了解你,所以可以隨心所欲地談,但老朋友不也曾是新朋友來著?想一想,這天與我同行的友人原本也是半生不熟的同事來著。但因為當時我們同是社會新鮮人,在戰場上產生了一種革命情感。咱們兩有很多相像的共同點,但也有很大的不同。朋友不就這樣嘛!若兩者之間有太大的差異,會導致個性不合。又如果兩者太相像,那還有什麼樂趣可言呢?進入主題前會說這麼多廢話,其實是因為,我與這位友人,說常見面也不常,但我們卻能夠從出社會到現在都一直保持著連絡(即使在FB成為好友之前)。我想這並不容易。這段緣分也可說是得來不易,值得珍惜。

The longer the friendship, the better it gets. I suppose I am rather fortunate in that while I get a lot of opportunities to meet new friends, I also get  to spend a lot of time with old friends. These two types of gatherings give me very different feelings. Although an old friend may know you well, and you can talk about almost anything, these old friends had once been new friends, too, no? The friend who was accompanying me for this meal used to me a colleague of mine. We were both fresh college graduates. In facing the 'battlefield', we developed a friendship that would last a life time. There are many similarities between us, and many differences also. I guess that goes with all friends. I mean, if two people are so drastically different, they'll never agree on anything! And if two people are so similar, what fun would be in that!? Although we don't get to meet often, we always kept in touch (even before we became Facebook friends). I think that certainly says something about this friendship, don't you think?

一講到雞腳凍,不要說是東海人,連非東海人第一個想到應該也是東海雞腳凍。在南投混了半天,經過友人的推薦,離開前買了這個回家。前面提到身為東海人,其實雞腳凍他不只是雞腳凍。他是一個回憶。或許有些人會覺得厭煩,但畢竟東海雞腳凍就離我大學住了三年的住所不到五分鐘路程,不是說忘就能忘的。但與友人聊起雞腳凍的不同,似乎許多人對東海雞腳凍最反感的地方就是「沒剪指甲」...

Chicken feet. When people come to think of chicken feet, the first thing that comes to mind is probably the famous one near Tunghai University. Being a Tunghai alumna, and the shop being so close to where I used to live during uni, it's quite difficult to get rid of the place that the chicken feet has in my memory. But since it wasn't like we were in Nantou every day, it was definitely worth trying another style of chicken feet. Apparently, the most annoying thing about the Tunghai chicken feet is that the 'nails' are not removed.

這篇又是拖稿拖得很嚴重的一篇。其實這是二二八連假臨時起意回台中發生的事情了。現在都已經四月了!你看看你看看(聽說我2010的英國遊記也還沒寫完啊,這算什麼!)總之呢,這次回去是我老姐他用日月潭一日由來誘惑我,才成功把我騙回家(誤)。老實說另外一個原因也是因為我三月份週末都滿檔,連假不回去,就真的要拖好久才能回家啦!不過不料,難得回台中原本以為可以享受中部的熱情陽光,到了台中卻發現我竟然把台北的天氣也一起帶回去了!真是糟糕啊!

Ok, this article has been put off for a while now. This occurred during the 228 long weekend, and I've only just had the chance to post this now. Well, I suppose, compared to my 2010 UK articles (unfinished, still!), this is nothing! My sister lured me back home with 'a day trip to Sun Moon Lake'. Another reason I decided to go back to Taichung was also because my weekends for March were all filled up, and it would be too long if I didn't take the trip then. I thought that it would be a nice time to catch some central Taiwan sunshine, but who would've thought! I had brought the horrible Taipei weather to central Taiwan!
