il Giardino Romantico

好像鄉巴佬進城似的，每次來碼頭總是會有很多很新鮮的事情等著我去發現。繼『那天我看到了帆船』之後，這次天仙來到碼頭你猜猜看到啥？[抬頭不是就有了嘛？耍北七喔？] 沒錯！就是機車！而且還是重型機車。然後還是非常非常非常的多的機車！

It's as if I've never seen the world!  Everytime I come to the dock, I find something new and interesting to see.  Last time, I saw a sailing ship, this time, I saw loads of motorcycles!  And they're not just ordinary bikes!  There must've been dozens and dozens of Ducatis and whatever...

結果我們在路口等了將近五分鐘，才順利的通到另外一邊去。後來往下一看，挖賽！原來還有那麼多機車呀！不知道他們到底是有什麼活動哩？

We waited at the same spot for more than five minutes, before we could get to the other side!  Then, we looked down below, and saw that there were even more of them still waiting to get back on land.  I wondered what was going on.

後來一問才得知，原來這幾天機車族都搭船到曼島去比賽的啦。曼島雖屬於英國皇家屬地，卻有自治的政府。國際聞名的是每年都會舉辦的各種機車大賽。沒想到隨意晃，也會長知識哩！雖然沒能去曼島參觀一下，不過看到這麼多機車，也算是大開眼界囉！

After asking around, we found out that these bikers were gathering here for a race at the Isle of Man.  The island is a part of the British Commonwealth, but has its own government.  It is internationally renounce for its various bike races.  I guess this is why they say, 'you learn something new every day!'

然後，這是那天停靠在碼頭，看起來像軍艦的船隻。拍下來純粹是覺得它很壯觀。
At first we thought this was a military ship.  But my friend said it was probably a mercantile ship.  Anyway, I took a picture of it merely because it looked quite spectacular.

最後這兩張照片，回家的路上看到的名牌跑車。其實我對車一點也不懂。我只知道四個圈圈的那個牌子的車很漂亮！如果有錢會想買那種。不過我小弟他就小有研究。看他一直拍，我也就跟著他一起拍囉！

These last two photos were taken on the way home.  We saw this car parked by the road.  I know next to nothing about cars.  All I know is that the car with the brand made up of four circles all look pretty nice to me, and if I'd ever own a car, I'd like to have one of those.  My friend, however, was mesmerized by its mere existence.  So as he took picture of it, I killed my time by taking some pictures of it, too!
