【食記】台中 - Cafe Yestoday @ il Giardino Romantico

Along the whole of Yishu Street, there are all kinds of unique restaurants and cafes. Some of them are well noted by their interior design, others by their food and drinks. I thought this cafe should be acknowledged for both! Just by their name, they stand out from all the others - Yestoday.

整條藝術街，每一間都是非常具有特色的餐廳。有些是裝潢特別，有的是食物出色。不過天仙覺得這間餐廳，無論是食物，或是裝潢擺設都很有特色。就連店名也取的很妙—Yestoday。

In the beginning, I thought it was a typo my friend had made. But since we were both English majors, and she is also a very responsible English instructor, I didn't believe she could make such a fatal typo. In the end, it was me who had been the ignorant one. How foolish of me to think that such an interesting name had been a typo!

原本學妹告訴我店名時，我還以為他打錯了。不過後來想到，同是外文系出來的，學妹又是一個非常盡責的英文老師，不可能會犯下這麼恐怖的typo才對。這才發現，原來天仙才是鄉下俗。人家取了這麼有趣的店名，竟然還會以為是typo。真是不應該呀！

Whenever I meet up with friends, I'm never picky about the venue. I believe it is "who" that is more important than "where". However, I really liked this place. My friend tried to attract me by telling me that they sell exotic beer. But because this was before work, I had to refrain.

其實每次與好友相聚，天仙都不太介意地點。畢竟『人』才是重點。何況又是好久沒碰面的朋友。不過學妹這次找的店家，真的是很有特色。剛開始學妹本來還用店裡有販售的異國啤酒引誘我，不過當天用餐完因為還要上工，所以還是乖乖的喝無酒精飲料。

This is what I had ordered. I was reminded by this picture of one thing that really annoys me about ordering food in Taiwan. Why do they always assume that salad must be eaten with mayo? I do not fancy mayo!! Next time, remind me to notify the waiter/waitress to leave out the mayo on my salad. I like my greens the way they are.

這個就是餐點之一。其實現在看到圖片才想到，為什麼台灣的沙拉都會先給你弄好美乃滋呢？我不喜歡呀！下次看到有附上沙拉的餐點要記得先跟店員說不要放美乃滋呀～我喜歡原味的綠草。(誤)

不過大家會不會好奇，那包成一團的到底是什麼東西呢？

The answer - rice burger. Mushroom rice burger. It was D-licious!!
答案揭曉︰是米漢堡～沒錯，是素的。磨菇口味。超好吃的！

除了主食，當然也有飲料。

我點了很普通的紅茶。（就說要乖乖不喝啤酒的嘛～）

This was what my friend had ordered. I couldn't remember what kind of rice burger it was, but I do remember her praising it. We finished both of our meals in no time. For tiny people like us, we had done well. For people with larger build, you might need a double or triple order...

這是學妹點的。也是米漢堡，但我忘了她點的是什麼口味的了。不過重點是都很好吃啦！兩盤我們都吃的精光。對於個子小，食量又不大的我們，這樣的戰績是很不錯的囉！（食量大的可能就連牙縫都不夠塞...）

We dined and chatted in this ever-so relaxing atmosphere.

在悠哉的環境中享受美味輕食。暢談人生大小事。實在很享受！！
