il Giardino Romantico

From the earlier article on Grandma Nitti's, you'll remember that I didn't have very much to eat the last time I came. That's why I decided to visit again. This time, to 'eat'. 

從上篇的食記可得知，上次來這沒吃到什麼食物。所以今天決定來雪恥一下。

It was a Sunday when we came, and Animals Taiwan happened to be holding a small scale fund raiser. 

這天剛好是星期天。台灣動物協會也剛好在此舉辦小規模的義賣活動。



This time, we sat on the ground floor, close to what we love most - books. (but I heard the bookshelves have been removed. Pitty.)

這次與友人選擇了一樓的座位。因為有書櫃。（不過聽說已經被撤走了！可惜啊！）


Books and booze. Go hand in hand.
書與啤酒。很搭。


The first dish up - nachos. But still doesn't look anything like the nachos we're familiar with. 
第一盤上桌的是nachos。就是洋芋片（類似doritos）淋上起司加熱。沾著salsa醬吃。不過看起來跟國外吃到的還是差很多。


This is fish and chips. But NOT REALLY! Look at it! Does that look anything like fish and chips to you?
這是炸魚薯條。不，這不是炸魚薯條。這不是炸魚薯條！！！！

 

Although the food didn't look anything like the authentic version, I guess it will have to do.  It didn't taste bad. Not bad at all. It was just DIFFERENT.

樣子、味道都不道地。不過還是挺好吃的。只是跟印象中想吃到的落差有點大。
