【食記】台南 - 新營豆菜麵 @ il Giardino Romantico

After surviving a month-long's work, I finally had a chance to take a trip and freshen up. This time, I came to Tainan and asked my friend to show me around. I had a deep desire to see places I had never seen before, eat things I'd never eaten before. And that pretty much sums it up. It had been a wonderful trip. Starting with a simple bowl of noodles.

經過一個月完全無休假的煉獄之後，終於有機會能夠出走。這次來到台南，請我朋友幫忙安排行程。我想要看看以前沒看過的景色，吃吃以前沒吃過的食物。我朋友做到了。這一切都從非常簡單的一碗麵開始。

Apparently, the dish is very famous in Hsin-Ying, Tainan. I'd never heard of it before, but I looked forward to it. Sometimes when you don't know what to expect, you often get a bigger surprise out of it.

這好像是新營名菜。不過之前都沒聽說過。也因為這樣更加期待。有時候不知道該期待什麼，反而更容易得到驚喜。

Sprouts and noodles 豆菜麵。

Bitter gourd and fish soup. 苦瓜鮮魚湯。

Pork blood soup. (Taiwan delicacy) 豬血湯。

A meal for two. 兩人的餐點。

Sprout and noodles - a very simple bowl of boiled noodles and sprouts. Bland if you eat it just like that. It's actually the seasoning that makes it tasty.

豆菜麵 - 一碗非常簡單的水煮麵以及豆芽菜。不加將料就沒味道。所以醬料才是真正的重點。

Bitter gourd fish soup - The bitter gourd didn't taste bitter at all. It was quite sweet, and the fish was fresh. Very delicious. Highly recommended.

苦瓜鮮魚湯 - 苦瓜一點都不苦。非常甘甜。魚也非常新鮮。好吃極了。強力推薦！

Pork blood soup - Didn't touch it, as I don't eat pork, not to mention it's blood... But my friend said it was a little disappointing. That's only because the fish soup was beyond her expectation, though!

豬血湯 - 我沒喝。我沒吃豬肉更不用說它的血啦。不過我朋友說感覺普普通通。因為鮮魚湯太出乎意料的好喝，導致豬血湯反而被打敗。

Seasoned sprout noodles. 加上醬料之後的豆菜麵。
