【食記】台中 - 安徒生童話鄉村廚 @ il Giardino Romantico

You're probably wondering what the caption of that first picture meant. Well, if you read on, you'll probably understand.

或許你覺得我在鬼扯（我不是泰瑞）。不是鬼扯，而是這天真的有點扯。繼續看下去吧！

One day, a lunch had long been arranged between the four of us who had been friends since uni. We arrived at our meeting point, and set out to search for a restaurant. We saw this mock-Santorini style architecture, and were all mesmerised by it. We went in, and asked for a table....

某天，四個大學朋友早就安排好這天要來吃午餐。當天見了面，隨後就來一起找餐廳。走著走著，我們都被這間Santorini風格建築物給吸引住了，於是走了進去。。。

It turned out that because it had been a Sunday, and that we did not have a table booked, we had to wait for at least half an hour until a table might clear up. That was fine. We understand. Except the only reason we didn't want to go back out was because it was so hot! But we still did. Whilst hanging around outside, we also took the opportunity to look around other restaurants along the road, hoping one of them might have a table available for us...

不過因為是週末，我們因臨時決定要這間也沒訂位。所以服務生告知我們若要等可能要等上半小時。也行。我們完全能夠理解。只是，外面天氣實在很熱。真的很不想出去呀！但我們還是出去了。在等待的同時，我們也順便看看沿路上的其他間餐廳。肖想著說不定某一間有空位，可以馬上入座的。。。

After having tried all these restaurants... one of them finally called us on the number we left them and ushered us back to have our meal...

終於，在拜訪這麼多間餐廳之後，終於有一間來電話告知我們可以入座用餐了！
