il Giardino Romantico

 

據說這是一個美麗的誤會。這天我們依照約定來到所謂的「阿美飯店」，等到指定地點的友人到來，他才說他好像誤會了！其實他原本想約的是隔壁間的！不過因為當天我們來的早，我們看見了這兩間似乎是姊妹店。有些菜是從這兒端出去到那兒。又有些菜是從那兒端到這兒。其實我們也沒來過，也不知道差異。但覺得應該坐哪裡都一樣吧！

Apparently, this was the result of a misunderstanding. We arrived at the place, and when my friend who picked the place arrived, he told us that he had wanted us to meet at the place next door. However, since we arrived early, I observed that these two shops seemed to be the same place after all. Plates were coming to and fro each place. Since we had not been here before, I didn't know the difference. I thought it didn't make any difference. 



這盤對不敢吃韭菜的天仙來說真的是很恐怖的一盤菜。直接跳過啦！不過天仙倒是頭一次看到這樣的菜耶！

This plate of leek sprout was a bit horrifying for me, as I did not really like leek... But it was the first time for me to see it prepared like this. 



這道醉雞的quota原來是要點其他的... 好像是鴨還是鵝的。因為恰好都沒有了，就點了這道來吃吃看。我覺得有點普通，但也不意外！

As for poultry cold plate, we originally wanted to order something different, but they were all out... So we settled for drunken chicken. It was not bad, but not that good either. No surprise!



涼拌苦瓜倒是還滿不錯的。只有一點點的苦澀，然後沾點千島醬，味覺就穿梭在苦味跟甜味之間。很奇妙。

I really enjoyed this place of bitter gourd salad. It was only a bit bitter. When you have it with the thousand island sauce, the taste swings back and forth between bitter and sweet. Quite an interesting experience.



這盤四季豆當然是為了落實餐餐有青菜！味道還不錯。

這天有三個大男生，因此炒飯也是為了要飽食。

這道魚大家是讚不絕口。畢竟天仙是檸檬控！擠了檸檬，魚隨便烤都可以很美味～ （不過其他人也說好吃喔）

The fish was the best, methinks. After all, I love the taste of lemon with seafood. The fish tasted great with sprinkles of lemon juice on it.



鳳梨蝦球感覺沒有太大的特色。因為這道的兩樣東西孕婦都不能吃太多，因此我只淺嘗幾口而已。

Shrimp and pineapple were both things that should be watched out during pregnancy. So I only had a bite each. 



這道三杯雞也是挺不錯。不過當時還在食慾不振時期，因此想吃也沒辦法吃太多。

"Three cups chicken" was pretty good. But seeing my appetite was still not at its best, I didn't have very much either (as much as I wished I could have more...)



香腸也不錯。但老公吃了太多，又一直配大蒜。等到離開後，滿嘴大蒜味！真是折磨人啊！

The sausage was also recommended. However, my other half had so much of this (with garlic) I could not bear his breath after!! 



另外一到深得大家的心就是這道松阪豬。鹹鹹甜甜的，加上肉質鮮美，烤得恰到好處。

Girlled pork neck was yet another of our favourites. The sauce was a bit sweet and salty. The meat was cooked just right. Perfect.



這道好像是紅糟肉？（有點忘了）吃到這裡天仙已經快要被KO了！孕婦的驚人食量此時還沒有開始見效。

This was another dish of pork (I forget exactly what). At this point, I was almost done with the meal. I was not yet at the point where I had an appetite for two! 



但友人貼心的準備了他們覺得全台灣最好吃的杯子蛋糕（而且還說迷你的比較好吃）。因為當時已經很撐了，於是只想留著等到胃裡的食物消化了再來好好享受。

But then, my friends took out these wonderful cupcakes. Apparently, they are the best in Taiwan. I was so stuffed at this point, that I could not eat any more! So I had to keep it for later, when the food's been digested.

沒想到我們這一干人中，有人建議，來到這兒一定得吃的是他們的擔仔麵。於是我們轉移陣地，到隔壁的隔壁，一間看似普通的麵攤，一人點了一碗擔仔麵來吃。

And later on, another friend suggested, that we could not leave until we've tried their noodles. So we paid the bill, and moved next, next door, to a place that looked like a simple noodle stall (but basically same owner as the restaurant). We all ordered a bowl of noodles each.  

 

其實味道還不錯。只是天仙的胃已經快被撐破啦！

因此淺嘗幾口就把剩餘的丟給老公處理。

不過現在食量變好了，老公想要吃我剩下的...是越來越難囉！（現在開始變成我要搶他的食物了XD）

It was not bad at all! But my tummy was about to burst! 

So I had a few bites, and gave the rest to my lovely other half. 

Now that I've regained my appetite, it'll be difficult for him to expect me to have left overs! (Sometimes I take food from his plate now!)
