This is my second visit to this hot pot place. The first visit was totally by chance. I intended to take my friend to Shi-da Night Market, so we got there first, and found a random restaurant. Seeing my visitor had probably never had Taiwanese style hot pot before, I thought it was a good choice. But because I did not have my camera with me that first time, and it was worth a second visit, I took this opportunity to take my other friend here for dinner.

This was my meal. I had a choice of three different seafoods. I picked shrimp, fish, and clams. I had no idea that the shrimps were so fresh that they would still be alive. It was heartaching to see them still squiggling with the skewer pierced right into them. I barely had the heart to chuck them into the boiling hot pot!
But alas! Food should not be wasted. I say to myself: it would probably be even more of a torture to keep them alive feeling the pain of the skewer driven right through them. After saying a prayer, I closed my eyes and chucked them into the pot! This meal is not for the feint hearted!
I know it's cruel, but life's cruel. It was one of the sweetest tasting shrimps I had tasted in a very long time! Thank the shrimps!
After a delightful meal, you can also choose your favourite flavour of ice cream!
Even though I'm not a fan of ice cream, I felt like having some that night!
