How do I put into words how much I miss authentic Thai food? Most of the Thai food restaurants found here in Taiwan are a fusion between Yunnan, Burmese, and Thai style cuisine. It's been a while since I had Thai food of any kind, so I thought anything resembling Thai food would have to do. The reason why we decided to come here this time, was because the previous day, we were also at another Thai food restuarant, but because there were a couple of people in our group that could not take spicy food, almost the entire meal comprised of non-spicy Thai food. And if you enjoy Thai food enough, you'll know that no Thai food is Thai enough without its spicy taste. 

我不知道該如何表達我對泰國菜（道地）的思念。雖然台灣有很多間泰國餐廳，但大多數都是參入了雲南跟緬甸的風味。不是很道地。但離我嚐到道地泰國菜也好一陣子了！所以任何接近泰國味的料理我都能夠接受。我們這天會來這裡的原因是剛好前一天晚上也去吃泰國菜。不過不巧，當天晚上有一兩位不能吃辣的朋友，所以幾乎滿桌都是不辣的泰國菜。如果你愛吃泰國菜，就會知道不辣的泰國菜，根本不能算是泰國菜啊！



Thus to satisfy my craving for spicy Thai food, we picked this restaurant that was closest to us. I had not read any reviews and had not dined here prior to this. We were here to explore. 

所以為了滿足我前一天晚上沒滿足道的味蕾，這天就選了這間來嚐試。事前沒做任何功課（沒搜任何食記）更沒來嚐過這裡的餐點。整個就是來探險的！


Spicy seafood salad 涼拌海鮮沙拉

It didn't taste 'Thai' enough, but it was delicious nonetheless. 

雖然味道不夠『泰』，但還是很不錯吃啦！


Spicy fried chicken 辣炒雞肉

Again, not 'Thai' enough. But this time, there is nothing too special about this dish.

這盤也是不夠『泰』，不過跟上一盤不一樣的是，個人認為這道沒啥特色。可點可不點。
 

Curry shrimp 咖哩蝦

The mild curry helps you down your rice. 

輕微的咖哩味讓你好下飯。


Shrimp paste fried veggies 蝦醬青菜

One of the  favourite dishes amongst Taiwanese.

台灣人必點菜色之一。 

Tom yam goong. 泰式酸辣鮮蝦湯

I think this is what made the entire meal worthwhile. It was absolutely delicious. A good Tom yam soup is very difficult to make. I've tried making this by following recipes, but still fail to produce something that resembles it. So in the end, the meal was absolutely worth it (although it's still not very spicy). 

這道湯真的讓整餐值回票價！非常好吃！泰式酸辣湯其實非常難製作。我曾經試過好幾次照著食譜做，但還是都不能公。所以因為這道湯，整餐都值得了！（雖然還是不太辣）
