【台灣】高雄旗後砲台－il Giardino Romantico

Located on Cihou Mountain in Cijing District of Kaohsiung City, the battery is now rated as a Second Class Historical Site. The weather on this day was not particularly pleasant. There were a few rain drops. I suppose my presence in Kaohsiung in its abnormal weather could make this a special experience, somehow.

位於高雄旗津區旗後山上，旗後砲台目前列為二級古蹟。這天天氣不算好。偶爾感覺到有飄雨。來到高雄竟然遇到這種陰天，大概也可以算是很難得吧！！

Once we had reached the battery, I had felt a kind of deja vu. Had I seen this place before? It turned out this was indeed my first visit, but the reason why I had found it so familiar, was because it seemed a lot like the heritage sites I had seen while in the UK. However, I will save myself from embarrassment and avoid talking about the historical background of the battery for two reasons: 1. my Taiwan history is non-existent 2. I had taken a picture of the official historical intro.

當抵達砲台時，我心裡想著：我是有來過這裡嗎？不過此行的確是我第一次造訪。會覺得似曾相似的原因，其實是因為這個砲台長的實在跟我在英國看過的很類似。不過爲了顧及到各位的寶貴時間，以及避免我在這丟人現眼，歷史我就不談了。

There were a lot of tourists on that day.
這天有很多參觀的人潮。

And quite a few stray dogs.
而且還有很多流浪（？）狗。

They were friendly and adorable.
很可愛，也很友善～
