【飲記】大安區 - Caffe Libero @ il Giardino Romantico

I think I have become notorious for procrastinating blog articles amongst my blogger friends. But surprisingly, this article had not been put off for that long. Last weekend, a rather interesting group of us got together for lunch. After lunch, it was suggested that we come here. Initially, I didn't aniticipate much, as most of you may have realised now, that it's really the company that is much more important than the places themselves. As this article will show, this place turned out to be a very pleasant surprise in the end.

我覺得我在部落格屆裡面已經算是出了名的會拖稿了。不過這次呢，沒有拖很久喔！（才一個禮拜！）上週我們一群有趣的組合，約好了一起吃午餐。午餐過後，友人建議來這邊續攤。原本我沒有期待太多，因為你也知道，這種聚會，人總是比地點還要重要。不過到了之後才發現，這裡真的是個很特別的地方呢！

Here's an example of how... when the service and the atmosphere exceeds my expectations, I could turn a blind eye on wrong orders. I had actually ordered hot cafe latte. But I didn't mind it being iced at all.

這杯拿鐵其實是店家弄錯了唷！我本來想點的是熱拿鐵。不過因為服務跟氣氛實在是無可挑剔，我就睜一隻眼，閉一隻眼好好的享受我的咖啡了～

There's a little patissier in the back of the cafe. Definitely worth a try if you're a fan of sweets.
店面後方有個小小的甜點鋪。喜歡甜點的人不能錯過喔！

It was a pity I had no more room in my tummy for this...
但當天肚子實在是沒有多餘的空間了，真是好可惜啊！

But, alas. This is the real reason that makes this place so special!
不過，這裡開始才是這間店的重點特色呢！　

These are all the collections of the owner of the shop. Most of them are whisky bottles from either Scotland or Japan. Some are cigar related as well.
這些都是老闆的珍藏品。大部分都是蘇格蘭或日本的威士忌酒瓶。也有一部分是雪茄相關收藏。

I didn't know whether I should've ask if he had smoked all of these...
當時不知道該不該問這些是不是都是他抽的 XD

I feel obliged to explain that even though I am addicted to beer, I also like wine (red over white). In terms of whisky, I am slowly learning to acquire a taste for it. But there is still a long way to go... So when my friend suggested 'a second drink'... I still went for my favourite drink, despite all the 'whisky-ness' of the place (I just don't feel like wasting the whisky!)

此時我該解釋一下，雖然我有啤酒癮（無誤），但我也喜歡葡萄酒（比較喜歡紅酒）。至於威士忌嘛... 我還在慢慢學習中。但還要走一段很長的路啦！所以當有人建議來"第二杯"時，我還是選擇了我最愛的啤酒了～　(總覺得不該浪費這裡的威士忌）
