【倫敦】Tower of London Part 3 - The Rest of It－il Giardino Romantico

Yes. I do realised the start of this article is quite a contrast to the last one I posted. This last of the Tower of London Trilogy, contains the bits and pieces of the rest of the castle. To start off lightly, let's take a look at who London Paddington found during our trip here.

It's quite a magnificent place... if you don't think about how many had lost their freedom and/or heads here... Or may be that adds to its magnificence??
如果不去想說有多少人在這失去的自由（甚至他們的頭）其實這地方真的很壯觀啊！（還是因為這樣所以更壯觀！？）

Sir Walter Raleigh was kept here. Raleigh was an explorer (pirate), spy, and also a poet. If you'll recall from the movie 'Elizabeth', he was sent to the tower for marrying on of Queen Elizabeth's lady-in-waiting without her permission.

雷利當時就被關在這。他在當時是個冒險家（海盜），間諜，但也是個詩人。如果看過電影『伊莉莎白』的話或許你會記得：他被關起來是因為他未經過女王的同意就私下跟女王的侍女結婚。

I made the right decision in forfeiting The Tower in 2009. I wouldn't have had enough time to really enjoy it. I arrived in the morning, shortly before noon (or possibly around noon), and didn't finish touring around the place till five in the early evening! By then, I was completely worn out, and needed to recharge...
