Traditionally, there are two receptions to every wedding - one which the bride's family would host, and the other the groom's family would host. Initially we planned to simplify things and just have one big recpetion. But after a few disagreements between me and the parents, we decided to take the advice of one of our elders, and hold two receptions instead. Surprisingly, my parents were thrilled to be able to make the major decisions and deal with all the trifles, which we had thought would be better if we handled everything... Anyhow, there came another problem! My other half and I had so many mutual friends that it was difficult to decide who should come to which reception. In the end, we decided to leave the bride's reception exclusively to my parents' guests, and that all of our guests would go to the groom's reception instead. 

Thus this blog post is about the experience of holding the bride's reception at Hotel National. A room was given complimentary to the banquet the next day. I had also booked an extra room for my bridesmaids-to-be, since they had kindly agreed to come and help out (and also for support, what would I do without them!)

終生大事總算是告一個段落了！不過天仙早就想好要在所有的事情都落幕了之後，再找時間來好好地一一分享天仙的經驗。原本呢，天仙跟天仙ㄤ的想法是男女合辦一場就好（然後可以辦得大一點這樣），不過初期跟娘家長輩討論的時候有許多不順利。後來有長輩建議，不如分開辦！只是天仙跟天仙ㄤ的共同朋友實在太多了，怎麼分都覺得不太對。於是最後才會決定，文定場就完全交給娘家的爸媽全權處理。

沒想到這下竟然就皆大歡喜！爸媽開始興高采烈的安排一切，而我也不用在煩惱自己想要的跟爸媽想要的不同時該怎麼取捨。因為我還有結婚場可以主導（婆家跟我老公幾乎都沒有太多意見）。只是，才要過個年，就接到原訂的飯店通知說：年後可能就會歇業不做了！這下可好！又要重頭來過。最後透過朋友的介紹訂到了全國。

起初我們只抱持著有總比沒有好的心態接受全國這個婚宴場所。不過經過試吃、新娘房的招待、以及婚宴當天的每個細節，我真的得說，這裡真的很不錯！



一進門看到這小客廳我就開心的叫起來了！其實在這之前還鬧了一點小插曲。加上我這天剛好下背非常的不舒服（當天早上也才從台北下到台中）。抱持著很負面的心情來到這裡看到這小客廳，我完全忘了所有的不愉快！只是此時我已經知道北鼻的存在，看到香檳，實在是想笑又想哭啊！！



然後一轉個身看到這個床！天啊！！可惜老公晚上沒有要跟我同房耶！



因為天仙找來的三位幫手，也都是要從外地趕過來。因此我就只好請老公委屈點回家睡，然後把床位讓出來。不過這張床拍完照我還是捨不得動。硬是要等我姊妹們到了，看過了才捨得毀了他。

書桌上還貼心地準備了各種雜誌。



電視也早就換成平板的。這一晃下來就知道雖然大學期間就覺得全國"舊舊的"，而且原本天仙心理不是很滿意這裏唷！不過經過這新娘房的洗禮，真的徹底打破了我對全國的偏見。



接下來這兩張單人床的房間是要給好姊妹睡的。這種重要的場合，少了好姊妹，我可真的是會不知所措。為了感謝她們願意奔波，當然希望讓他們也好好地睡一晚囉！



這間格局比較小，但是該有的也都有。而且原本不敢承諾在隔壁間，但卻真的安排讓我們就在隔壁！真的很貼心！

參觀完之後回到我的新娘房發現：原來還有一間廁所啊！！



嚇了我一大跳耶！不過這間只有馬桶，沒有沐浴設備。應該是方便訪客使用的（就不用進臥室這樣... 所以約人來飯店房間真的可以只談公事不上床的是嗎？XDDDDDDDDD）



接著就是等待好姊妹們的到來。而我獨自一人，先享受這個超大的豪華新娘房吧！(拜託！這要是平時天仙哪住得起呀）

 

隔天還有場硬仗要打呢！

 

當晚入寢前，我們一票人馬偷偷跑下去宴客廳看看會場！呦～～～好興奮喔！！！

天仙念：有招待新娘房的飯店的最大優點就是，像我這種容易緊張的人，可以前一晚就下去看進度！而且隨時可以呼叫飯店人員詢問或確認細節。當天早上，我已經在上妝了，還可以請姊妹先到樓下把會場布置拍照傳給我看！這是辦在飯店（有附新娘房）的好處喔！
