Should I have not left this until last? People often like to leave the best till last, but the reason why I wonder if I made the right decision, was the fact that I had already been quite exhausted by this time of the day. When I saw the path to Orrest Head, I knew it would be something worth seeing.  I dragged myself up the hill, hoping it wouldn't be too high up. Once I got to the top, I was glad I persisted.
我是不是不該將這裡留到最後？許多人喜歡把最好的當壓軸，但我會懷疑這個決定到底是不是對的，是因為到了此時，我已經精疲力盡。不過當我看到通往Orrest Head的部道時，我知道如果我堅持，必定會有驚人的收穫。所以我拖著自己疲倦之身，爬上山，還一邊祈禱希望不用爬太高才好。當我抵達頂端時，我很慶幸我堅持爬了上來！

Although it took me so much stamina to walk up to the viewpoint, I was now reluctant to leave...
雖然耗盡了我所有的體力才爬上這兒，但到了離開的時候我卻又萬般的不捨。

Other than Grasmere itself, I found the whole of the Lake District amazingly beautiful. According to what I have seen shared on Facebook, I have only seen the tip of the iceberg. There are a lot more amazing sights that I had not gotten the chance to see for myself. I wish someday I could.
除了詩人故鄉Grasmere之外，整個Lake District都讓我覺得好美、好漂亮。不過看過友人在Facebook分享的照片，我知道我只看到冰山的一個小角角。希望日後還有機會能夠更深入的看到湖區更美的景色！

This is it. The moment for which I had waited so long to see.  Wordsworth's very own house.  When I saw the house, I immediately understood 'how' the poems came about.  Unfortunately, the good stuff can never be photographed.  You will have to find a chance to see what the inside is like, but I can show you the view he got to see every day.
重要的時刻終於到來。等了這麼多年，就是爲了這一刻，能夠親自參訪桂冠詩人William Wordsworth的家。當我看見屋子的那一剎那，我就明白詩人的靈感來自何處。雖然屋內禁止拍照，若想看還是得親自找時間造訪，不過屋外的景色，應該也足以讓你明白，詩人的靈感從何而來。

It may not seem spectacular, but think about it. This was what he saw 'every single day'. It's bound to be inspirational!
或許看似沒那麼壯麗。但只要想到這是詩人＂每天＂所見的景色，你還需要懷疑靈感從那兒來嗎？

This is the home of the bard.  This is where the child became the father of the man. This is where daffodils blossomed. This is where he wondered lonely as a cloud. This is where his soul forever lies in peace and tranquility. 
這是詩人的家鄉。這是孩童成為成人的父親之處。這也是水仙盛開的地方。這是他似雲般獨自漫遊之處。這是詩人永得安息之處。
Finally, I arrived to pay homage to the one poet who had inspired all this to happen.  I cannot emphasise more the fact that I was actually there because of his words.  Thank you, bard. Thank you.
我終於能夠親自來到墓前像詩人表達敬意。他是讓這一切能夠發生的靈感源頭。我要如何再次強調我的英國行全全都是因為他的詩句才能形成？感謝你。真的很謝謝你。
He immortalised daffodils.  Daffodils now play an important role in immortalising him.
他將水仙花化為不朽。現在水仙也將扮演化詩人為不朽的關鍵角色。
This is Grasmere.
這是格拉斯咪爾。

If you go to Stratford-upon-Avon, you will see nothing but Shakespeare.  When you come to Grasmere, in the Lake District, you will see nothing but Wordsworth. While it must be kept in mind that Wordsworth was not the only Lake poet.  Coleridge and Southey were also Lake poets, but it was indeed Wordsworth, that became poet Laureate. This is his home. The scenes that follow, are the scenes which had inspired his poetry. The beauty of the Lake, immortalised by his words, remain one of the most beautiful places on our planet Earth.
到了Stratford-upon-Avon，處處可見莎士比亞的蹤跡。而到了Grasmere，處處都是Wordsworth。Wordsworth並非唯一的湖區詩人。Coleridge和Southey也同是。但畢竟被指定為桂冠詩人的，就是Wordsworth。這裡就是他的家鄉。以下景色，正是他的靈感來源。這裡的美景，在他的筆下化為不朽。至今，依然是這世界上最美的角落之一。
The place was famous for their gingerbread. But as I didn't fancy gingerbread, I saved myself some quid.
這裡的薑餅好像挺出名的。不過我對薑餅沒興趣，所以就把錢省下來了。
Stroll along the streets at a very relaxed pace. There is no need to hurry. The scenery will not escape. This is a day you baptise yourself in the bard's fountain of inspiration.
腳步放慢、輕鬆遊走。不需急迫。美景不會流逝。這一天，你要在詩人的靈感來源處受洗。

Welcome to the world of Beatrix Potter. 
歡迎來到波特小姐的世界。
I do have to make a sincere apology before you continue, however. I admit willingly that 'Peter Rabbit' was not one of my reasons for visiting the Lakes.  This is why, even after finding this place, I was unwilling to spend money on admission fee, just so that I could write a blog article about it. It is, however, a very cute place to visit, nonetheless.  I know that this is a place that no 'Peter Rabbit' fans should miss out on.
在繼續之前，我必須先跟大家說聲抱歉。因為彼得兔並非我來湖區的原因之一。所以即使我找到了這個地方，我也沒有爲了寫一篇文而花錢進去參觀。不過它看似個很可愛的景點。相信是各位彼得兔迷不可錯過的地點喔！
There were Peter Rabbits all over the foyer. There is also a tea shop, where you can rest your legs for a while before continuing the rest of your itinerary.
大廳就有很多彼得兔可以看了。旁邊還有附設茶店。讓大家可以歇歇腳，再繼續完成接下來的行程。
I know I only have pictures of these cute little beings, but the Lord only knows how much I wish I could purchase one of these, only because they are sitting on books!
雖然拍了很多照片。不過這時候其實我是真的很想要買一隻回家。其實原因只是因為他們坐在書上面～
Centenary Clock that strikes every 30 minutes. I didn't linger there long enough to hear it strike. But I still thought that the clock was adorable.
百年紀念鐘。每三十分鐘會響一次。不過沒等到它響，我就到下一個景點去了～
