There was a bit of time left before I should start heading home. I found this pub randomly, and decided to have a pint here because it had a beer garden. When I found the beer garden, I was amazed by how spacious and beautiful it was. 
離我應該啟程離去之前還有點時間。走著走著找到這間pub。決定進去一探究竟是因為它號稱有個beer garden。當我走到花園時，真的被那寬暢又美麗的空間給嚇到！
The walls were painted. 牆壁上還有漂亮的圖樣
Look how spacious this place is. 你看，真的很寬敞吧！
And very floral as well. 而且到處都有花兒～
But the best thing is... 部過最棒的還在後頭... 
When I was ready to head out, I took the chance to take some shots of the inside (but none turned out well, that's why you don't get to see any posted) One of the bartenders asked me if I needed him to take a picture of me for me. After I accepted the offer, I asked if I could sneak behind the bar and have a picture of myself there! He was a bit hesitant at first, but then agreed. He hurried me and made sure the boss didn't notice, took the picture, and let me out of the bar again. 
我正要離開的時候，趁此時趕快拍拍內部景色（不過沒一張拍好，所以才沒貼出來分享）。其中一個bartender跑來問我需不需要幫我拍照。我很高興地答應了。不過我又問他，可不可以讓我進去吧檯裡拍一張。他原本不敢讓我進去，不過看我從遠方來，就只好答應了～叫我趕快進去，免得被店長看到。快速拍了一張之後就讓我出來。

Didn't I tell you? There is so much to see inside! But I think as a personal experience, the best part was hearing an actual choir singing in the buidling! (even though it was just a rehearsal) 
就跟你說吧！裡面真的很精采！不過就以個人經驗來說，最棒的就是能夠在裡面聽到歌聲！雖然只是排練！

There happened to be a service when I arrived, so I had to walk around and see other parts of York before wandering in. When I returned, it was ready for the public again. 
當我抵達時，剛好正在有儀式正在進行中。我只好先看看約克的其他地方，再回到大教堂。當我返回後，已經開始在放遊客進去參觀了～
This is a Gothic style cathedral whose completion dates all the way back to the year 637. Throughout the centuries, it has gone through several repairs and reconstructions for varioius reasons. The first church on site was actually built from wood, and the Gothic style architecture we see today is the result of works in the 13th century. 
這是一棟哥德式的大教堂。於西元637年建立完成。這幾百年來歷經過很多次的修建與重建。第一座於這個地方建置的教堂其實是棟木頭建築物。現今看到的哥德式建築其實是來自十三世紀的傑作。
The exterior is just as magnificent as its interior, as you will see in the next article.

Don't underestimate this little castle here. Although it had not been a planned itinerary, I chose to come here since the minster was in service, and was not open to the public until three in the afternoon. Once I arrived, I realised that it was yet another one of those pleasant little surprises when you do something out of the expected.
千萬別小看這間小小的城堡。雖然他不在我原本規劃的行程哩，但因為大教堂當天有活動，要到下午三點才會開放參觀。我就選了這個地方來參觀。等到我抵達後，我才發現這個決定沒錯！這又是一個意料之外的小小驚喜！

Lovely little building 可愛的小遺跡
York used to be a Viking capital until the 10th century. This used to be the keep of the castle built by William the Conqueror. It has been through many wars and is now listed as one of the English Heritage buildings. 
約克至第十世紀原本是個維京首都。我們現在看到的這個原本是一座城堡的主樓。這座城堡是征服者威廉所建置。歷經許多戰爭至今已列為英國文化遺產之一。

York is a lovely place. I have not yet heard anyone say anything negative about it. Everytime I start writing about a new place, I always start with a miscellaneous piece. But this time, there were just too many pictures, and I have no heart to delete or to keep them only for myself. 
約克是個很可愛的地方。至今未曾聽到任何人說他們不喜歡這裡。每次開始新的遊記，我總是喜歡從『翦影』開始寫，與大家分享那些微小的部分。但是約克不同。因為一整天拍下來的結果，是我根本不知道從何選擇性的分享，更不想一個人獨自享受這裡的美。
Other than the minster, one of the other most distinguishable features of York is its wall. You'll see why in a minute. Since there are a lot of photos, I will step down now, and let you enjoy the scenery on your own. 
除了大教堂外，最具特色的就是這裡的城牆。繼續看下去就會知道為什麼了。既然這篇圖超多，我就先閉嘴，讓大家好好的欣賞這裡的美景吧！
