I can't compare you to a summer's day,
For I have never seen you in my life.
But make belief what I'm about to say,
As I watch this brave man's eternal strife
For happiness, hope, and most of all - you.
Though he, knowing you have gone away,
Lives forever in the present with you.
Wishing to the stars above that you'll stay;
I wonder if he'll ever understand,
That your soul has never left him - ever!
Your eternal love shall all trials withstand;
All eyes on you - Immortal Lovers.
Please help me help your man stand up straight;
Lest he loses all odds to that cruel fate.
Do you know how hard it is to write a sonnet?  Yet, there was no other form that I could possibly use to immotalize your love.  The sonnet is the most restricted form in the realm of poetry.  By using this closed form, I hope I have helped you preserve your love for eternity. 
There are many things to which I can only say, I acknowledge, but cannot understand.  This, I can.  If we have anything in common, then that is we have both lost someone we love.  Notice how I used the word 'love' in the present tense.  It is in the present simple tense because the love we have for them will never fade.  We loved, and we still love, and we will always continue to love. 
I am not going to ask you to forget.  Because forgetfulness is a terrible thing.  The only way they can live on forever, is through our rememberances.  Remember, but dwell not upon the thought that you have 'lost'.  We must walk on.  I did, and so did the others who were even more hurt by the loss.  I have faith in you.  One day, you will see that light shining outside your window.  Open it, and embrace the world.  Taking your past with you, and daringly step forward towards the future, to wherever it may lead you.

對於很多事情我曾會說：我了解，但我無法體會。但這件事情，我可以跟你肯定的說，我可以體會。我們都曾經失去過我們愛的人。那份愛永遠都會是現在簡單式。因為他曾是，還是，也永遠都會是對我們很重要的人。
我不會叫你忘記。因為你不該忘記。讓他們在我們記憶中永遠存活著。在記憶中，他們是永久的。但，同時要記得向前看。我走過來了。其他比我傷得更深的也一樣走了過來。我相信你。總有一天你會看見窗外那道光。打開那扇窗，擁抱全世界。帶著你的過去，勇敢的向前走。無論未來指向何處，你都會勇敢的面對。因為『她』永遠在你心中。

半年了。時間過的還真快。今天看球賽之前一個人獨自喝咖啡寫下這首詩，透露出我是多麼享受在這裡的生活。我不想回台灣。我不敢想像那種想要讀得書卻買買不到的日子。我不敢想像每次想看球賽都得熬夜的日子。我不敢想像週末沒有朋友陪我一起小酌兩杯happy的日子。我不敢想像再次面對我不知道該如何回答的問題。
半年了。我還剩多少時間可以享受在這裡如魚得水的生活？我還剩多少時間可以盡我所能的吸收我當初所期望的新知？我還剩多少時間可以享受輕鬆可得的冷門書籍？我還剩多少時間可以不用爆肝的看球賽？我還是多少時間可以跟我在這裡交到的新朋友們相處？
九月交出論文之後，我會何去何從？會留在英國？還是回台灣？還是到別的國家去闖另外一片天？
不是我不想念家人。我很想念台灣。我很懷念夜市的滷味。我懷念24hrs的便利商店。我懷念隨時周日不用到處尋找適合唸書的coffee shop。我懷念我的貓兒子們。我更懷念我的家人們。也很懷念打從一開始就一直支持我的那位心靈支柱。
只是，我愛我的國家，我的國家卻不愛我。
台灣，不是一個適合我的地方。只有我不在台灣領土上，我才有辦法愛它。
 我只想趁我還活在夢中，盡我所有的能力好好的把握每一分、每一秒。因為時時刻刻都是那麼的珍貴。
半年了。我勇敢的向前望著未來的不知數。 Walking on, trusting the road. 相信只要我想要，沒有什麼是不可能的。
