The best thing about traveling on your own, is the amount of freedom you have over everything. As I wasn't on any kind of schedule, and because I grew so fond of this little city, I was so reluctant to just walk back to the station and leave. So I took the opportunity to take a walk around Parade Park, and here are some shots I took during my stroll.
I was actually waiting for him to get out of my way, but I had to give him credit for such a friendly smile.

I think this must be the most well-known and popular tourist attractions in Bath. Not surprisingly, it is also the most expensive of all tourist attractions here. I must say, though, that it is completely worth it.

Sculpture in the corridor.

If you pick the right time, there are still many other 'Roman' characters that you can catch during your tour. If I remember correctly, if you sign up for a guided tour, your guide will also dress in Roman costumes.

Like I said before, Bath Abbey isn't very big at all, and it doesn't take very long to see everything you need to see. Even if you spend a lot of time just sitting there, absorbing its grandeur and historic atmosphere, you still won't need more than an hour. The best thing for me, was the tower climb. After Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral, this is my second climb up a church tower, but it might as well be my first, as this time, there is no elevator.
Ropes for the bell.
Clock from the inside.
Corner of the roof.
Keystone.
'The tenor'
Bell structure.
Our guide gave us the opportunity to chime these bells. It was a very unforgettable experience!
Roman Bath
Parade Park
Tower climb proof. 證據。
(212 steps seemed like a lot at the time. after the 500+ steps in St. Paul's, London... this was nothing... )

Welcome to the world of Jane Austen. The thing I love most about English cities, is how you can always find literary traces in them. In Stratford-upon-Avon, everything is about Shakespeare. In the Lake District, Wordsworth; Canterbury, Marlowe; and the list just goes on and on and on. I don't visit every single one of these places. Although I've always thought it important to learn bits and pieces about things that might not be of particular interest, I think having a bit of knowledge does help you absorb whatever it is you might learn from these visits.
坎特伯里則是Marlowe(浮士德作家)。

Bath Abbey, an Anglican parish church founded in the 7th century, is probably on the top of the list for many visitors to the UK, including mine. The grandeur of its outside structure may not strike as a place of magnificence, but once you walk in, you must realise, that the air your breathing, has the scent of 'history'!

There is no set mandatory fee. However, I must beseech you to give a donation as you enter. Our donations make it possible for these historical places to continue to exist!
The organ.

The main structure itself does not take long to see. There is another exhibition that is not to be missed.

Bath Station
Bath is such a lovely place, I have yet to hear one complaint about it. It's easy to fall in love with this little place, and it is extremely difficult not to like it.
