il Giardino Romantico

Every time I visit Granny, it's inevitable that I pass by Meinong.  However, I seldom get the chance to visit the town itself. I always just go straight ahead to Granny's.  This time, we had our own transportation and this allowed us to take unplanned detours and unexpected stops.  The picture above is part of the Flower Festival held in the township between February to March (I think).  When we drove by the first few patches, we were a little disappointed.  However, we eventually found larger patches that was worth a stop.

每次去拜訪外婆，一定會經過美濃。不過很少有機會到美濃走走，因為幾乎每次都直接坐車到外婆家了。這次因為有自己的交通工具，所以可以比較有彈性的隨意停靠遊玩。上面的圖片拍攝於美濃花海季。好像是二月中開始到三月底（？）。原本是很失望，因為看到的幾片根本不能稱上花海，不過到最後真的有看到直得＂一停＂的大片花海。



Meinong is well known for their flat noodles. Since we got hungry, it was the perfect chance to find a random shop and explore this local special dish.

結果肚子餓了就隨便找間店家要來吃板條。

據說，這才是道地的客家小炒。

Um... veggie flat noodles, or rather 'plain' flat noodles. 
有點令人傻眼的素食板條... 

There was no seasoning except a bit of pepper!  How weird. I had to season it with soy sauce and vinegar myself to make it more edible! 

什麼配料都沒有耶！而且除了粄條根豆芽菜，只有另外灑了一點胡椒粉。最後還是靠我自己加醬油跟醋酌味才成功的將這碗板條吃完的哩！（口感是還不錯啦！只是白白的一碗板條，有點讓我嚇到...）



相信過年期間在台南以南度過的朋友們應該很有機會來到這兒賞花、吃板條、欣賞手工傘、等等的。接下來的日子，如果各位還有空閒時間來到美濃，順便也到旗山六龜等地區逛逛吧！！
