I think many Taiwanese will be familiar with this restaurant. Some of you are probably even frequent patrons. I, however, don't come here often. The reason is because I'm not quite sure how to categorize this type of cuisine. 

我想這間大家應該都不陌生。或許讀者們有些甚至比我還要常光顧。我來過的次數大概不超過五根手指頭(頂多三次)。不是食物不好吃,是我實在不知道該怎麼去定義這樣的料理。

Smoked salmon Caesar salad. 燻鮭魚凱薩沙拉。

I only had a few bites of this. I didn't want to make a big fuss, but I like my salads with 1. no dressing or 2. Italian dressing. I had thought that the dressing would be the kind that I disliked most. But it turned out acceptable. Still, I don't usually like dressings, so I only had a few bites.

這道我只吃了幾口。因為我不想造成太多麻煩。不過我吃沙拉習慣:一、什麼都不沾,不然就二、只沾義式的醬料。我以為這間也會是哪種我覺得很倒胃口的醬汁。不過上菜之後覺得尚可接受,才決定吃幾口。

Margarita Pizza

This is one of my favourite types of pizza flavours. The simple combination of tomato sauce and cheese, that's all a pizza topping really needs. However, it wasn't as delicious as I thought it might be. I've been spoiled. (see old post

這大概是我最喜歡的pizza口味了吧!簡單的起司加上番茄醬汁。Pizza其實也只需要這兩種食材的搭配就可以很完美。不過,這間的讓我有點失望。因為我在英國被寵壞了。(看舊文

Crispy and non-oily, the pizza still offered a different kind of enjoyment for my taste buds.

酥脆又不油膩。味覺上也是一種不同的享受。

超大碗的白酒蛤蠣。

This was enough for the three of us to share. However, I had most of it because another dish was coming. I wonder, if I could actually finish the whole thing on my own.

這一碗其實夠三個人分。不過大部分都是我吃的。因為後面還有一道會上來。我很好奇,如果真要我獨自一人挑戰這一碗,是我會KO還是這碗會KO。(有人想證實的嗎?歡迎報名。)

Squid pasta. 墨魚麵。

After I had finished the rest of that humongous bowl, I had no more room for this. But honestly speaking, the blackness of the noodles was a big turn-off... 

當我把剩餘的蛤蠣麵吃完後,也沒空間再吃更多了。不過老實說,其實那黑黑的麵不太吸引我(呵呵~~)

The reason why I say I'm not sure what to think of this type of cuisine, is because it's Italian, surely. But it's like Japanese-Italian, rather than authentic Italian. 

 我會不知道怎麼歸類這樣的料理是因為他表面上是義大利料理,但卻很日式。感覺就像是日義混血兒。
