雖然告訴自己花了這麼久的時間，花了那麼多的精神，花了那麼一大筆的銀子為的主要是完成學業。但，坐那麼久的飛機到了世界的另一頭，如果不趁機到處看看，豈不是太浪費了嗎？
Even though I kept on telling myself, the main reason why I'm spending so much time, effort, and money is to finish my studies. However I would also be a waste if I flew all the way to the other side of the globe and leave without seeing anything.
目前收尋到的資料還不足以讓我安排更細膩的計畫。但我已經幫自己列出一些清單，提醒自己到了英國，這些地方要是沒看到就等於沒去！
The information I have at hand at the moment is insufficient for a detailed plan. However, I have made myself a list of things I want to see before I finish my studies and head back home.

我是希望親自造訪後，在用自己相機拍下來的照片一一跟大家介紹這些充滿文學氣息的地方。沒列出來的地方，有可能是：
1. 我沒什麼興趣
2. 我不知道有這樣的地方
距離我實際到英國還有兩個多月的時間。這段時間如果大家想要推薦我去任何地方，當然歡迎喔！只要任何能跟文學[尤其是1850前的文學]扯上關係的我應該都會有興趣喔！
I intend to write about these places using the pictures that I will be taking with my own camera. Some places may not be listed for two reasons:
1. I have no interest in them
2. I have no idea such a place existed
There are still some time left until my actual departure to the UK. Therefore, you are more than welcome to recommend any places of interest to me. Please understand that I am most interested in places that can be linked to my studies in literature, especially literature before 1850.

呵呵~~我不懂文學 但是英國景點知道的還算多喔~~~
我知道～～～ 一有空就要去你那取經一下～ 尤其是倫敦當地的地方！ 你要不要到時候也抽空到利物浦玩玩啊～
等一下，您去英國是「留學」還是「旅遊」，還有您會去多久？ 我很喜歡英國北部Scotland的風景，有機會就照幾張原野的照片吧！
當然是課業擺第一啦！ 可是一碰到weekend 或是剛交完essay之後想放鬆就會安排出去走走 照片是一定會照的 只要大家不嫌棄小小傻瓜照出來的效果 我一定會拼命的按下快門的囉！
妳列出的地方，我幾乎都沒去過(哈)。只有去過倫敦各處，Stratford-upon-avon和Roman Baths, Bath是從外面看的。妳會去看的地方都跟英國文學有關，我就不是很一定了。既然妳會去Stratford-upon-avon，我想妳一定也會順便去Cotswolds(sp?)，看羅馬時代的金黃色建築(?像捷克Praha)，Cirencester、Bourton-on-the-water...都在附近。Liverpool到威爾斯很近，就在下面而已，看城堡在威爾斯是熱門的觀光選擇。聽人說北威的城堡很壯觀，但我只去參觀過Harlech Castle，令人嘆為觀止。
我乾弟在同時間也會在Cardiff 很想去看看你之前唸書的地方 可是人生地不熟的...會怕勒 所以有機會的話可能會去Cardiff看看吧 謝謝你的推薦喔～
忘了打這句: 我的觀光選擇通常以自然景色為優先考量，所以，我不是到荒郊野外的山上，就是到海邊小鎮看動物。看古蹟通常是和朋友同行。
我的話...其實不管到哪裡都比較喜歡一個人 尤其是博物館 因為覺得每個人想看的都不太一樣 一個人比較自由 我是不是太孤僻了！？
dear celeste 十五年前 我去過canterbury 當時 幾乎沒我台灣遊客的蹤影 走在小鎮上 下著細雨 四處逛逛 感覺很好

如果你喜歡Jane Austen 那一定不能錯過巴斯的 Jane Austen博物館 巴斯除了澡堂之外 還有好多東西可以看呢 另外也可以用巴斯當據點 搭旅行團去看Cotswold 和 stonehenge
我原本是有安排 可是雖然Austen的小說我讀過幾本 不過不能說上是喜歡 所以才沒在清單中 不過有機會的話一定會安排看看的 謝謝～

其實我不是在Cardiff念書啦。是Aberystwyth，反而離Liverpool更近喔!那是一個可以讓自己放空的地方，妳喜歡自然風景的話，Aberystwyth比Cardiff美得多。有一條鐵路是從Barmouth延著海岸線通往北威爾斯，妳會感覺火車在水上走，非常的奇妙，可能妳也會看到霧中夢幻的典型威爾斯景色。(這是大部份台灣人都不知道的路線) 我應該在自己的網誌好好介紹這地方的，但我得了懶惰症，還把威爾斯的文章藏起來，其實我打算重寫。:) 這裡可以一一回每一個留言啊，妳辛苦了:p
我知道你不是Cardiff的 只是覺得正巧也在Wales囉 覺得這樣一個一個回覆看得比較清楚 回應其實也輕鬆多了 以前常常要來回看 怕回應回錯內容... @.@

Welcome to England! Wish you have a safe and fulfil journey in UK. Although things are very pricey in here, but you should be doing OK if you plan it well before trips. Few people stayed over in our rental flat with us in Canary Wharf area and it seems working out for them financially. Find a good deal for your accommodation is important but remember that safety should be the priority overall. Once again, have fun and make the best out of it! Love, Limay
