唉！這天原本也是要去吃慶城街的海南雞飯，結果不知道是去的太晚了還是怎樣。店內空無一（客）人，只有員工在忙東忙西。只好再度作罷。只是上次才吃過莫凡彼，我又還是不想去Hooters。想到之前看了IKEA的菜單發現其實沒有想像中的貴，又還沒吃過（只吃過他們家的冰淇淋），於是就改變計畫來吃IKEA的瑞典料理了。
Originally, we were going to eat at this chicken place that was under renovation when we were there last time. I don't know what happened, but the entire shop was empty this time. There were only a few guys in the shop doing their stuff. Seeing that we'd already tried Movenpick, and that I still didn't want to go in Hooters, we had to pick another place. I then recalled seeing the menu at IKEA and thinking it wasn't as expensive as I thought it'd be. So I suggested that we try it out. 
這天來到剛好還算是晚餐時間，人潮滿多的。我就請老公先去買，我來找位子。坐著看到這推車設計的還真不錯！不愧是IKEA。
It was still around dinner time, and there were quite a few people around. I asked my other half to get the food, while I get us some seats. That was when I saw this trolley! Well designed!
餐點上桌後，其實我本來有點後悔點鮭魚。因為上面的醬不知道是什麼滋味（我此時很怕太濃郁的醬）。不過吃了一口發現還不錯。其他都是老公點的。
After our food arrived, I started to regret having ordered the salmon dish. I was afraid of the sauce. It looked like something I didn't fancy at the time. But after a bite, I realised it was quite good. 
鮭魚的份量還不錯。不過旁邊那兩塊蔬菜馬鈴薯餅倒是真的還不錯。
The chunk was quite enough to fill one up. I really enjoyed the potato pies.
老公點的炸雞。我猜是因為我還滿愛吃雞才點的。不料這一陣子真的不太愛吃雞，更不愛吃油膩膩的炸物。海南雞飯我還可以接受，但炸雞就真的沒法度了。
這兩根雞翅就全給老公吃了。
The fried chicken was for my other half. I think he ordered them, thinking I liked chicken. But during this trimester, I really did not like fried stuff. So he had them both.
附上檸檬的鮭魚捲，老公抽掉了裡面的洋蔥給我咬了一口，我覺得還不錯。但很懷疑這樣老公吃得飽嗎？
Smoked salmon roll comes with a wedge of lemon. My husband kindly removed the onions inside, and gave me a bite. I thought it was pretty good, but I wondred if this was enough for him.
 
還好這陣子食慾不算好，所以鮭魚我也吃不完，就分老公吃幾口。老公大概也是怕這樣吃不飽，多點了一塊鬆餅填飽肚子。
看著同桌對面點的牛肉丸，很好奇老公怎麼沒點人家的招牌肉丸來吃吃哩！
During the first trimester, I didn't have a very good appetite. So this was plenty for me. I left some salmon and a potato pie for my other half, and I think that was enough for him. 
Seeing the young blokes sitting across from me enjoying the signature meat balls, I wondered why my other half didn't fancy giving them a try!

之前在逛部落格的時候就有看到人家在介紹這間。其實這對於住在藍線末端的天仙來說，說近不近，但說遠也不會太遠。天仙曾經過過兩三年的無肉生活。最後因為回台以後獨自居住在小套房裡實在不方便自己烹調，而外食的素食對挑食的天仙來說，雷又實在很多。因此漸漸地開放吃家禽類跟海鮮。不過天仙偶爾還是會享受一下美味又無負擔的蔬食。其實這也是因為我們朋友當中有一位是吃宗教素。每次聚餐，我們都會挑他方便的地方。對葷食者來說，吃素並不難（老實說你若覺得吃不飽，事後再去補個炸雞排就好了啊～）但對素食者來說，若挑個...好比說燒肉店好了！難不成你要他只吃青椒跟香菇嗎？
因此這次天仙發起的聚餐，就由天仙負責找一間適合大家又美味的素食餐廳。原本首選是在國父紀念館附近的，看似評價還不錯。但是卻惹得天仙很生氣！前兩天打去一直沒人接，我只好把FB的粉絲專頁找出來，再傳短訊詢問是否可以定位。姓名、電話、人數、日期我全都留了。也說明因為打電話去都沒人接，因此想請店家通融讓我用這種方式訂位。沒想到，這鬼打牆的店家竟然回我：我們的電話是ＸＸＸＸ－ＸＸＸＸ喔！歡迎訂位！好吧！我想說既然有人回，這次應該打得進去了吧！沒想到更讓我生氣的是，打去有人接了，對方卻跟我說這幾天員工訓練不開放營業！我聽到真的很三條線！都快爆筋了！天啊！那位回我FB的人早點跟我說，我就不用多打這通電話了啊！！
後來想到還有這間可以選擇！立馬打了電話訂位！於是才結束了這場鬧劇！
I'd seen articles about this place before. Living at the end of the blue line of the MRT, this place seemed a bit far, but within reason. I've experienced two to three years of vegetarian life before. After coming back to Taiwan, because it was quite an ordeal to cook at my flat, and the veggie places around where I live were not quite so good, I started eating poultry and seafood. But sometimes I still enjoy some non-meat feasts. This time, it was actually because there was a vegetarian among us. So whenever we'd meet up, we'd pick a place that's convenient for him. For non-veggies, it's easy to go without meat (come on, you can easily buy some meaty snacks afterwards!). But for veggies, it's difficult to dine at a meat-themed restaurant. 
Therefore, I set out to find a nice veggie place for us all to try out. First, I tried booking us a table at this highly recommended place near Sun-yat-sen Memorial Hall. But it turned out to be a complete fiasco! I tried calling more than 10 times, and no one picked up the phone. Then, I left a message on their Facebook page, leaving all the essential information, saying that I'd already tried calling but with no avail, and hope that they'd let me make a booking through Facebook. The reply left me speechless. They simply left me their phone number, which I'd already known! So I tried calling one more time. This time, the call got through. But what the guy at the other end of the phone told me, left me, again, speechless. He told me that they were doing some training, and were not open during these days! Well, why on earth didn't the guy that saw my Facebook message tell me that!? 
Then, I remembered about this place. Called them, and settled our dinner plan. Finally!
其實他並不難找，只是這區塊天仙不常來。因此原本還怕找不到。不過一看到餐廳，天仙就覺得這次應該做了對的選擇！
It's really not difficult to find. But I'd not been familiar with this neighbourhood. I thought it would take a while to find at first. When I saw the restaurant, I knew that I had made the right choice this time!
價位很親民。因為是素食餐廳，所以還會註明哪些是哪種素食者可或不可食用的。
The price is very affordable! And since it's a veggie restaurant, rest assured that all the dishes are correctly labeled with what type of veggie each dish is made for.
有人點了套餐。這是隨餐附贈的沙拉。我是覺得醬有點多了（不過天仙本來吃沙拉就不愛沾醬的）
This salad was part of the set meal. The sauce was a bit too generous for my taste. But then, I normally eat my salad without sauce!

After having so many large meals with lots of meat and seafood, it's nice to have veggie meals like this once in a while!

說到對清邁的童年回憶，就不得不提這間Boat Bakery的早餐了！一份美式早餐（含果汁、吐司、火腿、培根、兩顆蛋以及咖啡）也是以前周末常來享用的早點。這裡就在清邁大學大門口附近。因為住的地方離這裡很近，所以周末就常來吃。老爸老媽有時候早上散步完也會先在這裡享用早餐後才回家。家裡有人生日，這間附設的蛋糕店，也是我們常光顧的店。事隔多年，我朋友說已經不如以往好吃了。但天仙還是想要來回味一下。無論好不好吃，終究是個回憶。
I can't think back about life in Chiang Mai without thinking about Boat Bakery. We used to come here during weekends and enjoy their 'American Breakfast'. The bakery is located right by the main gate of Chiang Mai University, which was close to where we lived. Sometimes my parents would come here after their morning walks, and have breakfast before coming home. When it was someone's birthday, we'd buy birthday cakes from the bakery as well. After all these years, my friend told me that it's not as good as before. I didn't care, though. I still wanted to come... for old time's sake.
這天捨棄了飯店的早餐，寧願自己花錢，也要來尋找以前那熟悉的味道。炒蛋淋上美極醬，這是天仙多麼熟悉又懷念的味道啊！
So we gave up on the hotel breakfast this morning, and spend our own money on breakfast. I really wanted to come and enjoy thinking back about the old days. I love the taste of the eggs with a few drops of Maggi sauce! That was the kind of taste I was looking forward to!
兩片吐司，附上果醬與奶油。其實這個飯店也有供應，但是天仙來吃的是回憶。
Two pieces of toast with jam and butter. Yes, the hotel provided bread, too. But it was a different feeling, different atmosphere!
一杯咖啡一杯茶。與好友與另一半分享的這個早晨很美好。
A cup of tea and a cup of coffee, this was a great morning to share with a friend and my other half.
看到這盤熟悉的早餐，真的很感動。
It was nice seeing a plate of food that I had once been so familiar with. 
反正已經許久沒吃了，其實天仙也吃不出到底差多少。只是體驗回憶真的是無價！
It had been a very long time since I last had breakfast here. I couldn't really tell how bad it's become. But all I knew was that it was still pretty nice to just be there! 
 
最後還加點了一盤"ก๋วยเตี๋ยวราดหน้า"給老公品嘗。這道叫做"guey teaw rad na"。是個半湯半乾的豬肉粿條料理。以前小時候住過的一個社區，有位阿姨在自家門口擺攤。天仙有生以來吃過最好吃的"ก๋วยเตี๋ยวราดหน้า"就是那位阿姨做的！不過我們還沒搬離那裡，他就已經不做了。如今只能到別家品嘗、回味了！
Lastly, we ordered another plate of "ก๋วยเตี๋ยวราดหน้า" (pronounced guey teaw rad na). It's a dish of flat rice noodles in thick gravy, so it's kind of soupy. I remember the lady that used to sell this in one of the neighbourhoods we lived in. She made the best ก๋วยเตี๋ยวราดหน้า! But then, before we even moved out of that community, she stopped selling! So now, I can only try and remember what it tasted like!

我不知道「博愛座」一開始的構想是什麼。但一直以來，我一直把「博愛座」當成是在大眾交通工具上對老、弱、婦、儒最安全的位子。因此才會特別設計這些座位，讓有需要的這些人兒優先使用。所以在一般情況下，我們其他人上了公車，想坐著，都會先找非博愛座的一般座位。沒有就算了。如果真的累了，那就看看博愛座有沒有需要的人。沒有？就先讓自己休息一下。等到有需要的人出現了，其實在讓位也不遲。我覺得這應該是所謂的「優先權」。
但我看現在的情況，卻變成是明明沒有需要的人，卻還是沒人敢坐。即使在捷運上或公車上，擠滿了人。如果有個人願意讓出他的站立空間，去坐博愛座，那其他站立的人其實會輕鬆很多。但，不。台北人抱持著「坐博愛座會被人瞪」的心態，打死也不坐。
還有另外一種情況，是博愛座已經都被需要的人坐滿了。所以下一個上公車或上捷運車廂的孕婦也好、老人家也好，就活該沒搶到博愛座，得站著嗎？非博愛座的一般座位，就不需要讓坐了嗎？
我始終相信人性本善。
以前看到孕婦挺著大肚子在一般座位的乘客面前晃，而那位乘客只懂得低著頭打他的神魔或Candy Crush... 我只能搖搖頭。如果我剛好有座位可以讓，我當然會站起來！只是我沒得讓的時候，我常常在想，我是否應該要挺出來幫他們爭取座位呢？
有時候，主動讓位給孕婦跟老人家，會被婉拒。坦白說有些老人家真的看起來比我們還壯！不過，既然人家都讓位給你了，就別拒絕了吧！因為你不接受，人家繼續坐下也不是，站著讓那位子空著也不是，挺尷尬的。
以上，都是我以正常人的身分時就對「博愛座」有的想法。
當我開始有了可以坐「博愛座」的理由後，我對這個座位的想法，又更加的複雜了。
雖然我並非每天都需要靠大眾運輸通勤上班，但畢竟住在台北，很難不去接觸大眾運輸。知道自己有了身孕，但在還沒領取媽媽手冊以及這個「讓座胸章」之前，每一次的捷運跟公車，都讓我搭的膽戰心驚。
初期因為體力不是很好，什麼都沒做都還是會一下就累了。一上車就希望有座位可以坐。但很顯然不是每次都那麼幸運。不要說初期容易疲倦了，這個時期也是胎兒最不穩定的時期。你怎麼會知道司機一個緊急煞車，你會撞到什麼東西。所以那段期間，只要一有位子，我就會很不客氣地坐下去。
終於熬到領取媽媽手冊的那一刻，我以為心裡的一顆石頭可以放下了。每次坐公車捷運都戴上胸章，因為肚子還不明顯，坐了博愛座也是會怕被瞪啊！但我後來發現，這個胸章的用處真的不大！
我這樣問你好了！你曾經看過幾個人帶這個胸章？答案應該會跟我在領取這個胸章之前一樣：零！
為什麼？
經過跟友人討論後，結論是：有些人是不需要，其他則是覺得不好意思。
到底有什麼不好意思的？懷孕不是喜事嗎？為什麼要怕被別人知道？
至於不需要這回事... 我本來很不以為意。直到有一次，我跟老公站在已經佔滿的博愛座前，討論北鼻的大小。此刻有人發覺了我的胸章，馬上讓座並且連忙道歉說她剛沒注意到。我本來說沒關係。當時人潮不算多，捷運緊急煞車的機率又非常小，所以沒有說非常的需要那個座位。但這位婦人說：安全最重要。
我想想：是啊！我曾經在沒有懷孕的時候當人牆幫一個孕婦擋住後面的人潮推擠，也是怕後面的人沒注意到有孕婦就用力推擠到她。更何況是當時肚子還不明顯，除非我用大聲公公告，否則一般人是不會發現的。除非坐著，否則你很難預料會有什麼事發生啊。因此，我推翻了"有人覺得不需要"這個說法。
或許你不覺得疲憊，也希望消耗一下體力。但是請你別把肚子裡的孩子一起冒險，還是坐下吧！（老人家跟小孩子也一樣！）
而肚子漸漸地凸出之後，我又觀察到了一些有趣的行為。
有一次，我身上帶著胸章，坐上博愛座。沒多久，另一位孕婦也上了車廂。此時人潮已經算多了，我瞧她肚子比我大，應該比我辛苦比我累，就把我的博愛座讓給了她。但當我讓位給她後，還是沒人要讓座給我。好像一切都很理所當然。彷彿聽見他們鬆了一口氣：有人讓座了，我不用讓了！
另外一次，我身上照樣帶著胸章，手裡還拿著一大袋的東西（雖然不重）。因為老公站著我坐著，因此東西就先交給我。此時，另一位孕婦也上車了。我照樣起立讓座給她。她本來不好意思，說我也應該坐著。我跟她說：妳比我辛苦，給你座沒關係。她坐下的同時，叮嚀著我不要拿這麼重的東西（其實真的不重），我也將東西交給老公。但身旁的人見此狀，也還是沒有人要讓座給我。
再來，這次我獨自一人產檢後坐上捷運。這次是在擁擠的台北車站換車。好巧不巧，選擇的車廂剛好離博愛座都很遠。這是整節車的車尾，就是兩側都有鐵架給人家放東西的那種車廂。我站在座位前面。三個一般座位上，坐著一個阿伯，兩個年輕人。絲毫沒有注意到我的胸章。不是低頭看手機，就是眼鏡拔下假裝睡覺。其實這天我體力不算差，但是我很希望告訴北鼻，台北人是很有人情味的。所以我一直將胸章改位子，在他們面前晃壓晃。始終沒人注意到。我只好摸摸肚子，跟北鼻說：這世上還有很多好人，只是都不在這個車廂內... （囧）
說了那麼多，其實我的用意並非要斥責那些"沒看到"或"沒注意到"或甚至"假裝沒注意到"的人。
而是希望大家重新思考一下，「博愛座」設立的意義。
更希望各位領有「您讓座我好孕」胸章的媽媽們，不要再不好意思使用它了！既然人家花了錢做這個胸章，為何不好好運用他？讓有需要卻不能說出口的孕婦朋友們，不會再不好意思使用它來爭取一個平安搭公車、捷運的安全座位啦！（也讓大家習慣看到它，讓這個胸章變得更好用啊）

我本來只知道莫凡彼的冰淇淋好像不錯吃。這天經過本來很不以為意，因為原本我們是想去吃慶城街的海南雞飯。念了很久，但始終沒有去。這天逮到機會，就搭公車去慶城街一探究竟。沒想到，這天不是公休，而是正在裝修！（昏倒）
不過走著走著肚子也餓了。老公本來苦苦哀求說要去巷口的Hooters（根本就是想看辣妹）。不過當然是被我拒絕了！拜託！裡面都是一堆臭男生，誰想進去啊！所以想了半天，決定來莫凡彼瞧瞧。原本以為價位會很高，但研究之後發現其實也還好而已！這種價位只是比伯朗、丹提高了一點。但打著莫凡彼的招牌，我想CP質應該是比前面兩家高出很多！因此就決定進去吃吃看了！
Before this, all I knew about Movenpick was that their ice cream seemed pretty good. When we passed by the shop, we didn't think too much about it. We were supposed to visit this chicken place. We had wanted to visit for a while, and finally found the time to go. Unfortunately, after a long bus ride, we discovered that it was under renovation... Bummer! 
But as we were getting hungry, we needed to decide on a contingency plan. My other half wanted to try Hooters... (I'm sure you know why!!). I refused (of course!). Why would I want to go into Hooters? Ridiculous! Anyway, so we walked back to Movenpick and took a look at the menu. We thought it was going to be expensive, but turned out, it was okay. It was only a little more expensive than Brown or Dantes. But with its exotic brand name, we reckoned that the food would be much better than those two. So, we decided to give it a try.

兩人一起來享用的好處就是都可以嘗到～  這兩種湯其實都不錯！而且他的碗似乎還有特地設計過！湯匙不會滑來滑去，那個角度剛好也方便服務生端來端去。
The good thing about having company during a meal, is that you get to try different dishes. Both of these soups were pretty good. The bowl seemed to have a special design. There's a little ditch that keeps the spoon from sliding, and it also helps carry the bowl.
這麵包雖看似普通，不過味道還算不錯。只給了兩片（我們沒多要，所以不知道可不可以續）
The bread seemed pretty normal, but it tasted fine. There was one each, and we didn't ask for more, so I'm not sure if you could ask for more.
一口麵包一口湯，其實還滿不錯的。如果是濃湯，還可以沾著吃～
The bread went well with both types of soup.
波爾多牛肉焗飯 Gratin rice with beef in red wine sauce
因為太久沒吃牛肉，所以對這道沒什麼興趣。據說是還不錯。
It had been a really long time since I had beef. So I had little interest in this dish. But it seemed quite nice.
牛肉的份量也還算有誠意。
There were also enough beef chunks in the dish.
西班牙海鮮烤飯 Spanish Paella
光是看擺盤就覺得很開心！然後看到這麼一大片檸檬，我又開心了！後來這片還不夠，我還多要了一片！吃起來整個酸酸的爆好吃的！
Seeing the plate was already satisfying enough! Then squeezing the lemon on the dish made me even more excited about the dish. I had to ask for another piece, only because I luuuuurrrv lemon! 
不過好吃歸好吃，請千萬不要期待他有任何一點道地。這是兩碼子的事兒。你瞧他飯煮到這麼軟就知道他不會道地到哪裡去。不過天仙很愛吃檸檬那酸酸的口感，所以只要炒飯或烤魚有檸檬味，我都會覺得好吃（很容易滿足）！
It was, indeed, delicious! But please do not expect anything authentically Spanish. Authenticity and good taste are two different things. The rice in this dish had been cooked to suit the taste buds of Taiwanese. Too soft. But I love how the lemon blends in with everything. 
 
後來看到別桌有桌邊服務！好讚喔！下次也要來點個這樣的沙拉！
During the meal, we also saw table side service, which seemed exciting! Next time, we should order a salad for this! 
最後當然還有飲料！又是酸酸的果汁～ XD
Lastly, comes the drinks! Again, I ordered something sour - lemony juice! 
 
還有不怕半夜睡不著覺的老公點的咖啡。
And for someone who was not afraid of losing sleep - coffee! 
總結，雖然價位是比其他兩間連鎖咖啡店來的要高，餐點品質卻是超出許多。如果吃不起高級飯店的歐美料理，我強烈推薦可以來莫凡彼解解饞。雖然我覺得這間分店座位太多，服務員又太少，不過服務的本質是很不錯的。餐點，以這種價位來說，也算是不錯的囉！
In the end, I reckon despite the slightly higher prices, the food and service is a lot better than Brown or Dantes. If you can't afford to dine at proper restaurants, this is not a bad choice at all! Although I feel that they have too few waiters and waitresses and too many tables to wait on, still, the service is quite satisfactory. Overall, I highly recommend it!

TGI Friday's 雖然是老字號的店了，不過算一算，這好像還只是天仙第二還第三次光顧。其實這裡要人多才好玩。這天我們人不算多，剛剛好四位。不過也足以點份套餐。
TGI Friday's has been around for ages. But this is only my second or third visit. It's more fun if you get a massive group of people. There weren't too many of us this time, but sufficient. There were four of us - enough to order a combo for four. 
首先上場的是飲料果香龍舌蘭。Agave Pine
First up were our drinks! 
薄荷仲夏夜。Pineapple Mint Tree
基本上飲料都還算勉強通過。沒有說很驚豔，但我們都有喝完。另外兩杯因為不方便拍攝，所以就pass了。
Nothing much could be said about the drinks. They weren't amazing or anything, but drinkable. Pleasant enough, I guess. I didn't get a shot of the other two drinks, but they were pretty much the same. 
酥炸雞柳條 Fried Chicken with Fries
這道是線上訂位送的小開胃菜～
This was a complimentary dish for making a reservation online.
碳烤豬肋排 Friday's Famous Ribs - Half
這道雖然我沒吃，不過應該還算okay。
I didn't get a taste of this, but it seemed fine.
香辣泰國雞肉麵 Spicy Thai Chicken Noodles
這個麵我們點了兩份。所以就以同一張照片代表。我實在吃不出來什麼叫做所謂的"泰國"味道，不過原則上還算好吃。只是那陣子食慾不太好，所以把大部分的麵都吃掉之後，就請我御用的廚餘桶出馬了～
There were two servings of these noodles. I can't really understand why they called it 'Thai' noodles. It wasn't bad. Although I didn't have a great appetite, so I finished what I could, and gave the rest to my dear other half.
麵條還蠻特殊的。不是義大利麵。大概是因為麵條的關係？加上有辣度，所以才叫泰式？其實我覺得比較像宮保說... 
The pasta was quite special, I guess. Probably because of these noodles, and the spicy taste, that they called it 'Thai'? To me, it rather seemed more like 'kungpao'... 
香脆傑克酥炸肋排 Sesame Jack Ribs - Half
這道看似也不錯。當時還不太吃豬肉，所以這道我也沒嚐。
This dish seemed quite nice. Although I still did not eat pork at this time, so I passed on this.
不過我對這醬料倒是挺有興趣的。
The sauce seemed quite interesting, though! 
 
最後，朋友佛心來著還準備了小蛋糕。其實主要的原因是因為天仙原本是想與友人約約看3月1日再來光顧，這樣我可以用壽星的名義多要一份蛋糕。不過友人不巧只有2/28這天有空（這天剛好也是星期五喔），因此買了個蛋糕補償（太客氣啦！！）。還這麼剛好買到我愛的草莓！一看那草莓那麼小顆，又還有尚未變紅的部分就知道這一定是新鮮草莓來著！非加工品啦！
無論如何，TGI Friday's終究是個朋友聚會的好地方囉！
Lastly, this little dessert came from our friend. We were trying to arrange a meeting on March 1st, so that as the birthday star of the month, I could get a little dessert. However, our friends were free the day before... So they bought us this little tart to share, to compensate (which was unncessary! but a very sweet gesture, anyhow!) From the white portions of these small strawberries, I could tell that these strawberries were fresh! 
Anyhow, TGI Friday's is always the perfect spot for friends to gather up and have fun!

差點忘了鹿港食記還有這篇沒寫。話說，這天剛好天仙爸媽也有空，腦供就載著他岳父岳母來鹿港玩玩。因為說很久了，終於有機會可以帶他們來了。但礙於腦供本來就不是個愛逛街，愛亂吃的人，所以吃完肉包以後，就卡住了！接下來要吃什麼呢？
我們先逛了一下，來到了天后宮再決定。當天廟裡剛好有活動，進去湊個熱鬧，拍個幾張照片後，不能再逃避了！這下到底要吃啥好？我看到這間食尚玩家有來過，想說應該不至於是雷。眼看人潮也蠻多的，大家就同意來試試看這間的蚵仔煎了。
I almost forgot about this post! 
My parents happened to have some time to spare, so my husband (to-be at the moment) decided to take them to Lukang for a short day trip. We'd talked about this for quite a while, so it was good to finally put our words into action. But my husband was not the kind of guy who liked to go around trying out new things. So we were stuck after we had our meat buns - where should we take the parents next?!
We wandered around to the temple first. There was some sort of religious activity. We took a look, took some photos, then it was time to face our obstacle again - what should we eat? Then, I saw this place, with placards of celebrities who came and visit for their TV show. I thought - well, it can't be that bad then! Let's try it out! 
我一直很佩服這種傳統小吃店。翻桌率很快，但是員工的手腳也要更快。店裡的座位不算少！一定要研究出一個系統來，才會有效率，出錯率才會降到最低。
I've alwasy been quite amazed with these small places. They are able to take loads of customers at a time, and they barely make any mistakes. They must figure out a system in order for everything to work out! 
別看這間雖是傳統小吃，但料理的人還是戴上手套，也算是有再注意衛生。
Despite it being a small restaurant, selling only small bites, but you can see from the gloves that they're wearing... they do care about sanitary issues. 
天仙這篇也拖了滿久的，當時也才過完年沒多久。

終於看到蚵仔煎上桌。
Finally, our oyster omelette is served! 
據說來鹿港就是要吃蚵仔煎。
People say that you must try the oyster omelettes when you come to Lukang. 
每份的蚵仔量都剛剛好。還算是滿有誠意的。

And with a bowl of clam soup, that washes down the thick omelette sauce - perfect!

這碗是蚵仔湯。不過天仙不愛油蔥（所以還好點的蛤蠣湯沒有油蔥）
This is oyster soup. But I don't fancy the fried stuff they put in the soup. So thankfully my clam soup didn't have that.

下次天仙還想來嚐嚐醋蚵生吃！這裡翻桌率還算高，人潮也多！食材應該都很新鮮！
Next time I'd like to try raw oysters in vinegar sauce! With a shop like this, I'm pretty sure the ingredients are quite fresh!
不過外面這攤的東西，我們就一點興趣都沒有～

所以腦供這次帶岳父岳母來逛鹿港，應該還算是成功吧！
But that's only because it didn't suit our taste.
So I guess it was a success for my husband's first time taking his in-laws out for a day trip!

會來訪台灣的外籍朋友，其實都來過台灣很多次了。剛開始聚餐地點還蠻好找的。只要是道地的他們都會覺得很新鮮。一開始天仙都會找遍台北各地好吃的熱炒，讓他們一次吃盡各種台灣美食。不過隨著他們來台次數多了，聚餐地點就越來越傷腦筋了。好在這次我的新加坡友人有聲明想吃鐵板燒，天仙才開始有了點方向。不過天仙第一個想到的就是滿街都有的大浦。她會吃的慣嗎？還是找點特別的吧！這麼一找不得了！如果不是平價的，價格都不是我負擔的起的。雖然友人沒有指望我會請客，但總不能找間連自己的餐費都出不了的高檔餐廳吧！
因此天仙在網路上搜尋了一會兒，終於找到這間王品集團開的hot 7。網路上評價似乎蠻兩極化的。不過除了上菜順序有點問題，餐點本身似乎是還可以的。因此就與友人相約來這裡冒險。之後我聽格友說他一個月前訂才有位子。我們這天倒是挺幸運的！因為前一天才訂位，就剛好有位子。
Many of my friends from abroad has been to Taiwan many times. At first, it was easy to find places to take them. As long as it's some place with unique local features, they are bound to enjoy it. But after a while, it gets more tricky... Fortunately, my friend from Singapore has suggested that she would like some tepanyaki. That gave me some sort of pointer! But when I started to search for a decent place, I realised that the cheaper places were quite lame... (not the food, but the environment and what not). There were those, and then there were really expensive and posh places. I couldn't rely on my friend to pay for the meal! Even if we were going dutch, I had to find a place that I can afford!
In the end, I found this place - hot 7. The price seemed reasonable, but the blogs I found were quite extreme. However, other than the order in which the food was served, other issues seemed to be fine. So I decided to take the chance and come here. Later on, I saw another blogger mention that he had to book a month in advance. How lucky we were! We booked our seats only the day before! 
 
到了門口果然不愧是王品集團！終究還是有一堆人等著進去！
As with all Wang Steak related franchises, there were people queueing up outside the entrance! 
因為我們有訂位，等人到齊了馬上就可以入座！
But since we made our booking in advance, we got in with no trouble at all.
開始有點期待今天這一餐了。

為了彌補上次的超級不負責任食記，天仙這次得要好好介紹了！雖是在百貨公司美食街吃的食物，但依舊美味、仍然道地！雖然還是比外面的貴了一些，不過對天龍國人來說，還是很便宜啊！看完這篇文章之前，要不要來猜猜看我們一共花了多少泰銖？
晚餐去Ban Rai Yarm Yen บ้านไร่ยามเย็น之前，我們抵達旅館後，發現肚子也差不多要空了。從曼谷搭飛機到清邁途中只給了小點心。等到飯店一切安頓好，就步行來到隔壁的購物中心。來趟美食街，先解決空腹問題再回去補眠。
這裡美食街的習慣，是要先用現金買票券。用剩的可以再換回來。所以大家現在可以開始猜猜，我們一共花了多少泰銖～ 
So after my very irresponsible article last time, it's about time to make it up to my readers. Although these are foods at the food court of a department store, they're still pretty good (despite still being a little more expensive than road side stalls and small scale restaurants outside). But for us, who have been so used to life in Taipei, it's still pretty cheap! So, want to guess how much we spent?
This meal was the lunch before we had dinner at Ban Rai Yarm Yen. We were feeling hungry after we settled down at the hotel. The domestic flight from Bangkok only offered a small snack. So it was time to head to the department store right next to our hotel, and search for some food! 
The way to dine here is to buy some coupons with cash first. You can refund what you didn't use up later. And now you can start guessing how much we'd spent!

吃完了無法令人滿足的中與志海鮮丼飯後，很不甘心的還是回到了最能令人滿足的魚饌。第一次來的時候只是單純覺得他CP值很高。價位不會太貴，但又吃的到美味。後來發現老闆每次的熱情招待，讓我每過一段時間就會開始想念它。
令我印象最深刻的一次，就是我心情極差的那次。恰好老娘當時正逢生理期前，情緒起伏大不說，又剛剛好準備帶著腳架夜拍時發現下了捷運忘了拿！雖然腳架也沒多少錢，但我真的很不想再浪費錢。跟捷運人員說了之後，心想可能要到了終點站我才有可能拿到（而且還得從後山埤坐到不知道是亞東還是永寧的）。因為還沒找到也不能馬上就去。值沒多少錢的麻煩東西，應該不會有人想偷拿吧。只是這下子整個心情就很差了。就算拿到了腳架，也外拍不成了吧（晚了，也沒feel了）當時真的很想哭啊！
後來決定先吃飯，進行food therapy（食物療傷）。緩和一下心情再說。帶著臭臉走進來，但一看到老闆熱情的招呼，臉上的臭臉就馬上不見了！吃到心滿意足的生魚片丼，自然心情也就撫平許多。那次是我在這吃過最感動的一餐了！
因此每隔一段時間，都會想要來這裡。雖然他沒有花俏的菜色，但卻有最真誠的服務品質。也有一顆最熱誠的心。
As you can see from the last article, I wasn't too pleased with the meal. Sashimi (raw fish) goes best with vinegar sushi rice, but the rice they offered was just plain rice. So I decided to visit a place what would surely satisfy me. Of course, this was not my first visit here, either. I like this place because I think the value is great - delicious food at an affordable price. Then, I saw the owner's passion in serving each and every customer. I then fell in love with it.
The most memorable experience was this one time... I happened to be suffering from PMS. And you know how when you're in a bad mood, horrible things tend to happen like chain reaction! I was getting ready to shoot some night photos, so I had my tripod with me that day. It happened that I realised I had left the tripod on the MRT after alighting! After consulting with the MRT people, I had to wait until it reached its final destination, before I get news of my tripod. There goes my night! Once I got my tripod back (I had to go all the way from one end of the blue line to the other), it would be late, and I would have no more mood for photo shooting! Even thought the tripod was not expensive, I didn't want to go through the entire ordeal of ordering it again! So, I hoped that no one would steal the thing. 
Then I decided I needed food therapy. I needed to calm myself with some good food. So I came to this place. And once I saw the owner's welcoming smile, the frown on my face subsided immediately. That meal certainly did make my day!!
That's why, once in a while, I think of this place. Although there are no fancy dishes here, the owner has the most passionate heart serving each and every one of his customers!
