去國外旅遊,抵達一個新的國度,自己選擇首次辦訪的城市實在是太重要了。泰國很多人去過。人家國家領土比我們大那麼多,可想而知,光是首都曼谷跟泰北清邁就差很多了,更別說東北或是其他海邊或島嶼例如普吉或蘇美島了。選擇拜訪城市之前是否要先考慮你想要透過這次旅程得到的是什麼?雖然事隔了這麼久才又回去,但相較之下,清邁還是跟曼谷差了很多。人比較親切不用說,天氣、交通也都比曼谷好。物價當然也比曼谷來的要好許多。在泰北你可以體驗曼谷真的怎麼找都無法體驗的事物。沒來過的一定要來一趟,別說你去過曼谷清邁就一定也差不多了。沒來過清邁,你的泰國行根本就不完整。
It is an important decision to choose which city to visit when you travel to a country for the first time. Many have been to Thailand, I'm sure. Their total land mass is so much bigger than Taiwan, it's not hard to imagine that things would be very different from, say, Bankok to Chiang Mai. Not to mention the Northeast or the beaches and the islands that all have their distinctive features. It's important to think about what you want to get from the trip. Although it's been a very long time since I was last here, Chiang Mai is still a very different place than Bangkok! The people are much nicer, so is the weather! Prices are lower, and the traffic is so much better also! In the north, you get to experience things that you can't find in Bangkok. So don't tell me you've been to Bangkok... You haven't seen the whole of Thailand if you haven't been to Chiang Mai.
當然,曼谷因為是首都,人口多觀光客也多,交通自然也比較便利(所有首都的共通點啊)。而且,雖然我可以聽說讀寫都還算可以溝通所以難度不高,但就漣一般觀光客而言我一直認為曼谷是個不用做太多功課就可以直接衝去的城市。清邁就不一樣了。你功課沒做好,花了冤枉錢,可能還得不到自己所預期的經驗呢。因為像這種小城市,若不跟團,最傷腦筋的當然就是交通囉。不過其實不用太緊張。天仙可以提供一些建議,讓你至少不會被坑太多錢,留著預算可以花在其他更有意義的事物上面!
Of course, Bangkok, being the capital city, has a higher population and more tourists as well. Naturally, public transportation would be a lot more convenient, as of all capital cities around the world... I've always thought that Bangkok was a city you could just visit. Chiang Mai's different. Without a bit of research, you wouldn't get anywhere (even for someone who knows the language...) But don't worry, I'm here to give you a few tips, so at least you could save some money on transportation and spend that money on something more worthwhile!
雙條車(Song thaew) 發音
基本上,清邁是沒有計程車的,反倒是這種雙條車是滿街跑的。這就是清邁的「計程車」。可別小看他的便利性。每天早上可以看到載滿學生的雙條車,這些有的是專門月包的(天仙小時候也有這樣包車過)。對於忙碌的家長,或是學校比較遠的家庭來說,是很方便的交通工具。因為清邁市區的公車並不發達,基本上很少人會去坐公車。因此幾乎都是靠這個在跑來跑去比較多。另外要注意的一點就是,紅色的雙條才是跑市區的。可別因為新鮮想說看到別的顏色的就去攔人家,因為他們可是跑郊區的。
There is no taxi meter on the streets of Chiang Mai. However, the streets are crowded with these song thaews. These are the 'taxis' of Chiang Mai. Students can pay the driver monthly to drop them to school and back every day. It's the most convenient way of sending your kids to school (and affordable, too). The buses here are horrendous, so no body really takes the bus. That's why this has become the most important public transport. But do be careful! Don't get to excited and hop on a song thaew just because it has a colour other than red. The colours distinguish the districts in which they are suppose to operate. The red ones run in the city centre, and the other colours run in the suburbs.
那麼這種車要怎麼坐?原則上跟計程車一樣。有沒有人都可以攔。(基本上司機會希望全部爆滿這樣賺得比較多)有人的話司機會先想路線,順路就載,不順路就麻煩下一台。原則上人一多,你的荷包就比較保險,就算遠了些司機也不會亂喊價。若是車上沒其他人,就得小心些。不過若你本來就是要從東邊到西邊,這麼遠的路程如果司機收你個40銖,還算情有可原啦。但如果看你一個外國人,明明只有五到十分鐘路程也給你收40銖,那就真的有點超過了。不用怕!就讓他走吧。反正這種車子滿街跑。但缺點就是這些雙條司機主要的客群都還是當地人,因此會基本英文的不多,會的也真的只會基本的數字而已。
How do you ride on these? Just like how you'd hail a cab, only you can also hail these when there're people already on it. Here's how it works. You tell the driver your destination, he'll decide whether he wants to take you (if it's on the way). If so, then hop on and join the rest of the passengers. If not, then try the next one. It's safer for your purse to hail one with people on it already, as you know that you are not the only one providing income for this trip. If you are the only one, do be careful of getting ripped off. If you need to go all the way from east to west, then I think it's reasonable to ask for a little more (like 30 or 40 baht per person). But if it's only a 10-15 minute ride, that same price would be a bit too steep! If you think you're being ripped off, don't worry. Just try your luck with the next one! The down side to the song thaew is that the drivers mainly serve the locals. Those who can speak a little English can go only so far as the numbers. 
遇到好心一點的司機會直接告訴你該下車了(畢竟你是觀光客不熟路)。但人一多難免人家腦筋轉不過來,若你知道該下車了但司機卻沒有要停車的意思,可以按一下車上的下車鈴提醒司機。要注意的是上車前一定要先問好價錢才上車!然後下了車才給錢。人家都是辛苦賺錢的,請不要下車後就跑掉,丟了台灣人的臉喔!
Sometimes when the driver realises that you are a traveller, he'd let you know when to get off. But if you happen to be on a crowded song thaew, and the driver forgot about you, just ring the bell, to tell him you'd like to get off. But please do remember to agree on a price before hopping on, and don't forget to pay after you get off! 
嘟嘟車 (Tuk tuk) 發音
另外一種就是曼谷也有的嘟嘟車。不過常去曼谷的人是否發現這裡的嘟嘟車跟曼谷的有何不同呢?
The tuk tuk can also be found on the streets of Bangkok. If you've been to Bangkok before, you might notice the difference, though. See the difference?
你發現了嗎?曼谷的只有一邊可以上下車。清邁的嘟嘟是兩邊都可以上下車(沒有欄杆)。因此搭乘嘟嘟時期時要非常的小心。尤其清邁入夜後車並不多,許多司機常常飆很快。好處就是不用等司機繞路接送其他的乘客。壞處就是因為是專車,因此會比較貴。不過原則上規則跟雙條一樣:先講目的地,談好價錢看要不要接受,接受就上車,不接受可以殺價。殺價不成可以換別台試試看。如果兩三台都是同樣價格表示真的不能殺,你就認命吧。
The difference is that you can get on and get off the tuk tuks in Chiang Mai from both sides. The ones in Bangkok allow passengers to get on and off on one side only. Therefore, it's even more risky to ride one of these (without the traffic, sometimes they can go very fast). The good thing is that you are the only passenger, so it's an exclusive ride! But because of that, the price is a little higher. The rule is basically the same: ask for the price before hopping on. Try and bargain if you're not happy with the price. If bargaining doesn't work, then try it with the next tuk tuk. After three attempts, if bargaining still doesn't work, then the price is probably non-negotiable! 
兩價錢上的差異,我比方說好了,從旅館到夜市,雙條車一人20銖。從夜市回旅館做嘟嘟,一次60銖。(不過語言不通的觀光客可能會被要求100銖)由此可見,若為單人旅遊,雙條當然是比較划算。我們兩人去做雙條跟嘟嘟的價錢就沒差那麼多了。
Take, for instance, my experience this time - the ride from our hotel to the night market on the song thaew cost 20 baht per person (there were two of us) and the ride back to the hotel on the tuk tuk was 60 baht (they might charge 100 if you didn't speak Thai). If you're on your own, the song thaew would be a more economic choice. 
有孩童同行的我會建議這個體驗一次就好(而且請選一個路程比較短的去體驗)。因為他真的比較危險。
If a child is travelling with you, I'd suggest that you only try this once (and choose a shorter route). Because it can be dangerous! 
 
此時去已經入秋。涼爽的秋風吹在臉上,少了大都市的滿城汙染,清晰的空氣,其實挺舒服的。
It was autumn when we were there. The cool autumn breeze and the not-so-polluted air of Chiang Mai made the tuk tuk rides quite enjoyable!

天仙這次獲得Chohcoco Wedding喜餅試吃的體驗其實蠻意外的(因為很久沒有這麼幸運了)。由於自己也剛好在籌辦人生大事,無論是自己的經驗,或是聽別人分享的,天仙到覺得對於喜餅這檔事有了一些了解。首先最主要的原則就是:喜餅不是你說了算。(其實所有的細節都不是你說了算好嗎?)喜餅是女方送給親朋好友,告知大家你要嫁人了。主要的對象是女方父母親的親朋好友。你,是次要的。所以請先滿足長輩的需求,你自己再來添滿那些長輩沒有要求到的縫隙。
好比說,看完這則是吃分享,你很喜歡但家中長輩卻不喜歡(因為長輩都喜歡有大餅)。那該怎麼辦?如果你想省錢湊盒數所獲得的折扣,那你也只能將就。如果你不在意那一點折扣(其實盒數多了折扣也更多啊),那麼你就跟長輩分開送呀。
這其實也是朋友教我的方法。其實我覺得是個兩全其美的好方法。長輩有他們的大餅,你也可以有你的時尚。
不過其他的以後再容我發牢騷。現在先來看看這盒手工法式喜餅。
外包裝貼心的貼上易碎物品,免得餅乾全碎了。此外也記得要冷藏。
其實天仙這次參加的有點莫名其妙。不過看到了實體,還是很興奮。廠商再尚未寄出前還會貼心地來電確定地址(應該也是順便確定是否真有此人吧)。
盒內裝了許多DM,可以讓你慢慢參考。
一般在DM上看到的都是定價。每一間都是如此。但重點在於湊滿盒數後的折扣。以一般大廠的喜餅(如:郭XX、禮X、伊莎XX等),差不多訂滿七十盒左右(每間不太一樣)每盒的單家幾乎都是折半。不過這種比較小規模的喜餅廠商,我覺得要他們給這樣的價格有點困難(畢竟這是手工餅乾)。所以價格上,不用問就知道一定是偏高(了不起給個八折)。重質感不重價格的就可以考慮。
這種西式喜餅的設計雖然會得到很多年輕人的青睞,但我覺得光是看到這個包裝,很多長輩就會搖頭了。
畢竟結婚是喜事,長輩應當都會覺得要來個大紅大紫比較吉利。但年輕一輩的沒在介意就可以選擇這樣的典雅包裝(其實他有其他顏色)。
小卡片用手寫峰提醒你要冷藏,也寫出了品嘗點心的建議方法。
打開後看到每一款都不一樣,光看到這些可愛的造型就覺得很開心。

黑芝麻白巧克力馬卡龍
其實天仙本身就對馬卡龍興趣不大。這款吃起來頗奇妙。一看產品介紹才知道原來是黑芝麻配上白巧克力。不過這個要綠不藍的顏色代表著什麼我就不知道了。
星型布朗尼蛋糕
布朗尼用可愛的形狀表示。吃一口就知道:巧克力果然是他們的招牌。
鑽石圓餅
義式比斯考堤
這個餅乾有點偏硬。有假牙的朋友要小心。
愛情樹瑪德蓮蛋糕
這是整盒裡面最好吃的!真的很可惜只有一顆!這名字取的也真好!真愛嘛!果然只能有一個... XD
法式水果棉花糖
第一次吃到甜而不膩反而還有點微酸的棉花糖(還好沒有拿去泡巧克力)味道很不錯。
法式瑪德蓮蛋糕
口感吃起來有點像以前小時候常吃的什麼檸檬炸彈麵包。就是米你版的。因為令人懷舊,所以對他的評價也不錯。
法式布列塔尼 鹽之花圓餅
跟上一個餅乾比起來,這個口感就好多了。硬度剛好。
法式黑橄欖酥餅
幾個較甜的下肚後,這個剛好可以讓味蕾休息一下。味道偏淡,所以建議可以夾在幾個比較甜的中間食用。
費南雪古典蛋糕
原本這是外型最吸引我的,不過實際口感還好。倒是對那顆愛情樹還是念念不忘。
巧克力鹽之花馬卡龍
第二個馬卡龍。其實這個味道也比第一個好很多。
閃亮之星巧克力布朗尼
最後的壓軸,就是這個我以為是巧克力原來是布朗尼的小玩意兒。這個會讓你吃到後來很想哭:因為這麼一小口,又只有四個。XD 
 
這樣吃下來,其實算是沒有雷(只有比較不好吃沒有難吃的)。只是真的想送這種比較有特色的手工喜餅,除了自己要肯花錢之外,也要懂得跟家裡長輩協調好。(原則上滿足他們了之後,他們也不會太管你要送什麼了啦)因此天仙覺得這款適合甜美、可愛、夢幻型的準新娘。另外,再提醒一次:他的包裝真的不只白色(還有紅跟藍但都是粉色系的很夢幻就是了)。

【飲酒勿開車.Drink Responsibly】
不知道有沒有朋友發現最近天仙的發文頻率又變高了。其實正是因為天仙又開始抽空去造訪大家的部落格。這陣子觀察下來,發現許多美食部落客專貼高檔名貴餐廳或是旅館的吃喝玩樂紀錄。因為像天仙這樣身為一般小資,沒負債就不錯了還享受頂級住宿或料理的,天仙根本連想都不敢想。不過人生短暫,即使體驗不到,看看也好。其中還有幾名部落客,是專門介紹平價小吃,當然就算是價格偏高也會提醒讀者。其實每一種部落格都有它存在的意義。沒意義的部落格,當然就吸引不了讀者了吧!
Recently, the frequency of posting new articles have increased dramatically. The reason for that is because I've started to visit other blogs again. After observing what other people are posting, I've come to realise that many people like to post about posh restaurants and hotels. But as a normal 9 to 5er, I can barely afford these posh experiences one a year! Since life is short, I suppose even if I am unable to experience these posh places, it is nice to see what it's like from other blogs. Some of these blogs present affordable food on their blogs. If they happen to experience places that are a bit pricy, they'd kindly remind their readers as well. I suppose every blog has their own meaning of existence. I guess, those without meaning wouldn't attract any readers in the first place, right?
我想天仙正是屬於後者吧!畢竟自己負擔的起的食衣住行都在一般人可以接受的範圍內。有時候去吃吃平常會吃的小吃,會覺得:吃這個也要寫食記嗎?但這陣子逛完大家的部落格的結論是:無論大店小店,好吃與否其實都有寫食記的必要性耶。這篇是我幫良美寫的第二篇食記。原因正是因為最近多了許多新互動的朋友。若非看到新發出的文,豈不還要等到大家去搜尋「鵝肉」才會發現這間店嗎?
I would say that I belong to the latter group of bloggers. Most people can easily afford the restaurants and lodges I blog about. Sometimes when I dine at very small shops, I wonder if I should bother blogging. But then I realise that every restaurant deserves a blog article - to let people know whether it's worth a visit, or whether they should avoid it altogether. This is the second article I'm posting about this goose place. I think that some of my new readers should know about this, rather than wait until they have a crave for goose meat. 
這間鵝肉店是屬於沒有熱炒混雜的純鵝肉店。有很多小菜可以選擇。若是想看看還有其他什麼可以嘗試的,建議可以翻翻舊文(連結)。這天點的變化並不多,因為才兩個人,其實也不會太餓。看到圖中人穿著短袖就知道這還是夏天來著。天冷了啤酒喝的就少了(越喝越冷啊)。
This is the kind of goose place without stir-fry menus. There are lots of other small dishes you can choose from. Please see my old article for more choices (link). We didn't order much this time, because there were only the two of us, and we weren't that hungry to begin with. From the picture, you can see a man wearing short sleeves. Yes, it was still summer when we visited. Once it got colder, we stopped drinking so much beer (the more beer we drink, the colder we get!)
點了鵝肉,店家會看你們的人數而詢問妳們要多或少。只是想要淺嘗幾口的可以請店家分量弄少一點。喜歡這種肥美多汁口感又不怕熱量的,當然也可以跟店家要大份量的(當然價錢會有差異!)
If you order a plate of goose meat, you can ask the shop to accommodate to your craving - less if you only want a few bites, and more if your craving is insatiable! Of course, watch out for the calories (prices vary according to the amount of goose meat). 
吃鵝肉要吃得過癮,就是要骨頭越少越好。(但我相信也有人喜歡啃骨頭的吧)。天仙是不介意,但是其他店常常切出來的是一整盤帶骨,鵝肉本身卻很少的鵝肉切盤。讓天仙吃得實在是很不過癮啊!只有這間,每次來都只給天仙沒有帶骨頭的鵝肉。雖然有幾塊可能還是會有骨頭啦,不過至少絕大部分都已經可以讓你吃的很過癮囉。
I really enjoy the goose meat here, because unlike many other shops, they tend to give you goose meat without the bones. The bones would often get in the way, and you can't really enjoy the taste of the goose meat! 
因為這間是沒有快炒的,所以蔬菜類的就只有燙青菜或是這種滷的桶筍之類的。雖然沒吃到綠色青菜,至少來點不是肉的均衡一下囉。
Since there are no stir-fries here, you can order some boiled veggies or some marinated bamboo to compensate the veggies during this meal.
這間的鹽蜆也很特別。這是我唯一吃到味道最接近天仙外婆做的鹽蜆。但因為天仙外婆現在體力不好,以後恐怕再也沒辦法嘗到了。因此每造訪一次良美就要點來解饞。雖然還是差了一大半截,但至少是我目前為止吃過味道最接近的了。
These small clams are also quite special, as they are the only ones I've tasted so far that taste very close to my grandmother's. Since my grandma is now too feeble to make this, it's nice to know a place where I can remininsce this dish.
這裡的沙魚煙也是很美味的。我吃過有的煙燻味過重,或是太油膩的也有。良美的沙魚煙卻是剛剛好的滋味。其實來良美之前天仙根本沒嘗過什麼鯊魚煙。在其他間吃過也覺得還好而已。不過吃完良美的,就覺得我好像還蠻喜歡吃這個東西的~
Smoke shark is also a delicacy featured in goose places like this. Sometimes you'd get too smokey ones, or too fatty ones, but the taste and texture of the smoke shark here is perfect. 
雖然稱不上是什麼大餐,兩個人半張小朋友以內就可以解決!也算是平凡日子裡不平凡的小小犒賞。
This isn't exactly some kind of feast fit for a king, but it's affordable, so I guess it's a kind of cheap luxury!

「蘇杭」在台北已經算是老字號的江浙小館。不過自「德安」轉型為「新時代購物廣場」後對台中人來說也算是新的體驗。家父家母得知這間店後非常的開心。一逮到機會就來嚐嚐。江浙菜與上海味其實比較接近天仙家裡常吃的到的料理。天仙媽自從天仙上了大學後就沒有天天開伙的習慣。加上有些菜其實很費工夫,因此不適特殊節慶還吃不到!不過懶得備料烹調的結果就是,會去者些比較接近我們口味的餐廳才滿足味覺囉。
Zhejian cuisine is the style of our family cuisine. Since college though, mum has stopped cooking every meal for us. Some Zhejian cuisine are quite complicated to prepare, thus we only get to taste some of them during special occasions. If we're too lazy to prepare, sometimes we'd visit restaurants like this one, to satisfy our taste buds.

這天其實是中秋節來著。而我們這次來除了吃飯,還有另外一件小任務。也就是勘察宴客場地。
It was Mid-Autumn festival when we came. But other than having a simple meal, we also had another special mission - to see its banquet hall and menu.
開了一瓶自己準備的紅酒。(忘了有沒有收開瓶費)。雖然紅酒配江浙菜感覺不太搭,但其實也沒有很衝突的感覺(反正我們就是酒鬼世家,搭不搭都要喝就對了)<-- 飲酒勿開車喔!
I can't remember if they charged us for the bottle of wine we brought to have with out meal. Some people might not think that wine goes with Chinese, but since the Chien family is notorious for drinking (hey, at least we drink responsibly! So should you!), we could drink with anything.
這天用餐剛好有特定的套餐組合。因為我們才三人用餐,因此就點了這最不費力又最節省的套餐組合。
We ordered a set meal that day, seeing that there were only three of us. It was the easiest way and the most economic way to order.
這道醉雞是當晚令我最滿意的一到菜色。醉雞其實不難找,只是十間有九間都做得不好吃。大部分都做得像油雞一樣。天仙覺得,要吃油雞我自己去菜市場買的都還比較好吃呢!部過這裡的醉雞可是吃的到紹興的酒香。雞腿肉的口感也是很棒的!
This drunken chicken is one of the best I've tasted so far in Taiwan. Now, I haven't tried that many, and this dish is not that hard to find. But I do know that nine out of ten shops mess this dish up. The massive chicken leg tastes tender, and you can easily still taste the aroma of the Shaoxing wine used to marinate the chicken.
這一到我有點忘了是什麼(現在才知道為什麼大家都要拍菜單了...Orz)
Since it's been a while... I'd forgotten the name of this dish... (I can see now why people take photos of menus...)
只記得他是要用這菜包著吃的~
I do remember though, that you need to rap that in the veggie. 
其實就是豆芽菜,不過去賞了他個好聽的我有點忘記的名字。(這麼健忘較銀杏好了 =.=)
This was a simple sprout dish, but the restaurant gave it quite a pretty name, which I have forgotten, also... (sorry)

2010年,天仙第一次把自己拍的照片變成了明信片,寄送給國內外親友。[親愛的我把倫敦熊變成明信片了]這一系列的明信片還頗受親友青睞。去年我發現了點點印。價錢是稍微貴了一滴滴,不過印刷出來的成品,可是更高一等。因此除了明信片之外,也製作了桌曆。[親愛的,倫敦熊明信片又來囉!這次還外加桌曆!]第二批的明信片就沒有那麼受歡迎(我想是因為第一批的風景取景在英國所以比較受歡迎吧)反倒是桌曆,受歡迎度竟然比我預期的還要高(其實我以為會沒人要)XD。
不過去年的桌曆只開放親友訂購,並未開放給所有人訂購(其實是想測水溫,畢竟萬一親友都不買帳,那其他格友也不見得會想要吧!)
因此今年天仙索性只開放大家訂購桌曆,明信片就讓天仙私藏,留著寄給天仙國外的好友們吧。
想不想要訂購先別急著決定。等看完了開箱,再來決定也不遲呢。

這是一間天仙一直很喜歡的異國風味小館。距離上一次光顧都已經是2008年的事了。[看舊文]你看側欄的排行就知道,這間小館不只是深得我心,也相當受格友們的喜愛。事隔多年後,一群朋友的聚餐,因為有的吃素,有的則是無肉不可。加上天仙又是不吃豬牛羊... 這樣怪異的飲食習慣組合,我想不到比中東料理還要來的更恰當的聚餐地點了。
This is an exotic restaurant that I really like, but rarely get the chance to revisit. Between this visit and the last time I was here, it had already been five years. After so many  years, I recommended this place to a bunch of us, who, together, make a very strange dietry combination: there was a vegetarian, and one who couldn't live a meal without meat, and one who avoided pork, beef, and lamb (me). Middle Eastern food was the only kind of cousine I could think of that would easily satisfy all of our dietry idiosyncrasies.
不過老實說,因為隔了那麼多年沒光顧,當初還有點怕會不會已經關門歇業了啊!結果還好還開著!而且生意一點也不差。
I have to admit, I was a bit worried that after all these years, they might have already closed down. Fortunately, they were still open, and business was thriving! 
酒鬼仙每逢聚餐當然一定要來杯酒(反正我坐公車捷運~)。其實我有點忘了我點了什麼。不過我有跟店員確認,裏頭的vodka有足足一個shot才點,深怕一點酒味都沒有,喝的會不過癮。
Of course a meal wouldn't be complete for me without some kind of drink to go with it. I can't remember what I had ordered, but I do remember making sure there was a complete shot of vodka in there before placing the order.

  • 【泰國】旅遊須知簽證篇(@曼谷機場)

雖然這次泰國行重點是清邁而非曼谷,但由於我們買的機票必須夜宿曼谷機場,因此就得先在曼谷機場解決簽證。小時候來來回回的簽證都是交給爸媽處理。後來因為還是大學生,時間很多就自行跑去辦事處辦理。不過現在身為朝九晚五的小資,去玩已經要花掉很多假了,實在不想再為了簽證就再浪費一天假。只是這次天仙其實也是第一次辦落地簽。原本想說會不會很複雜或很刁難。實際辦理後才發現其實真的很容易(只要資料備齊就好)。
抵達曼谷時已經快半夜了(當地時間)。曼谷機場又超大的!所以走了好久才找到「Visa Upon Arrival」的標示。如果事先已經備好照片,填個表格,加上飛機上會發的入境單,交給辦理人員就可以了。沒有照片的話也沒關係,左手邊會有人幫你現場拍。要拍照片就不用填表格,因為人員會幫你key好。只是會需要再加200泰銖。
雖然我出國的經驗不比其他部落客多,別的國家我也不太敢講,不過我知道每次無論是哪一個國家,在檢查簽證或是行李時,一定要記得面帶微笑。(而且不管人家是撲克臉臭臉還是笑臉)這絕非網友名言所謂的「人正真好」(天仙又沒多正)而是表現出你是很輕鬆愉快地來度假。其實天仙那時候好累,不過還是全程微笑到尾。並且還有一點更重要的是,無論到哪個國家,一定要學會的就是當地的「謝謝」。(謝謝泰文)註
於是,我們輕而易舉地就完成了落地簽。為了這篇文章特地去查了普通觀光簽證的規定,原本以為落地簽會比較貴。現在看看,其實也沒有耶!不方便跑辦事處的請多加利用囉!

  • 【食記】南區 - 五年酒班神奇口感的烤雞翅

在貼這篇食記之前,我思慮了很久。到底要不要貼呢?好吃歸好吃,也很值得跟大家分享。只是會不會一張貼出來,客人的增加反倒成了他們的困擾了呢?後來想想,我實在是太看得起自己了。最好是這裡的人氣有能力讓一間餐廳人氣暴增到人家忙不過來喔~
好東西私藏不跟大家分享實在是說不過去。
I considered sharing this post for a while before actually posting it. It's a great place, with great food. However, I worried about it beceoming too popular after sharing this online. Then, I realised that I was probably overestimating myself... My humble little blog doesn't have the power to attract so many people to this place that they wouldn't be able to handle!
It was WRONG to keep such a wonderful place to myself and not share it! 
五年酒班是一間非常小規模的居酒屋。不過與其說居酒屋,不如說串燒屋吧!天仙因自家姊姊大推這兒的烤雞翅來到這。後來也帶了朋友來這吃過數次。直到這次才剛好有帶著相機,也剛好有機會能跟老闆娘談上幾句。
This is a small izakaya (Japanese for drinking establishment that also serves food). I think it's more appropriate to call it a small barbecue establishment. (I don't know how else to describe it). My sister was the one that recommended the chicken wings they served here. Afterwards, I also came here with friends a few times. This time, however, was the first time I happened to have my camera with me. I also had the opportunity, this time, to have a small chat with the lady owner. 
店內的裝潢一看就知道都是不費工不費力的簡單設計。但是卻也布置出他們自己的味道。
You can tell that the place has a simple design. There's nothing posh about it, but the atmosphere is, nonetheless, unique.
原來這裡只有三個人。老闆負責火烤類,老闆娘負責外場,另外只剩廚房一個負責熱炒類的。
The lady owner told me that there were only three people working here. She is in charge of waiting tables and checking the bills, the owner takes care of the grill, and there's one more dude in the back kitchen, standing by for any stir-fry orders.
也因為全店只有他們三人,若是天天高朋滿座,我還怕他們會忙到太累呢(有沒有想這麼多的客人)。
And because there are only three of them, I thought if they had too many costumers, they would be so tired! (I'm probably thinking too much)
點完菜後會送上一盤招待小菜:毛豆。
First up, was a complimentary dish. 
既然是居酒屋,豈能沒有酒?(未成年請勿飲酒.成年人飲酒後請勿開車)
Couldn't dine here without some lager! (Please drink responsibly!)
老闆娘會先送上一個盤子。這個盤子就是拿來裝烤物用的。前面說過了,全店只有三人,要是每個烤物都給你新的盤子,那他們豈不是每天都要洗碗洗到手斷掉啦?加上我覺得這主意不但幫他們節省了人力,也是節省水資源呢。
You would be given a plate in the beginning. This plate would be used to put all the barbecued goodies. I mentioned earlier, that there were only three of them here. Imagine if they gave you a plate for each dish. How wasteful would that be on human labour? (and water!)
首先上桌的是烤四季豆跟杏鮑菇。要盡情享受美食,就要記得每餐一定要從蔬菜開始吃起。
Beans and mushrooms to start off the feast. Remember, if you want to control your weight, always start your meal with veggies. 
這是雞軟骨。每一到都很美味下酒。
Chicken cartilage. Its English name doesn't sound too yummy, but trust me, it is.
柳葉魚烤的也是剛剛好~
Shisamo fish is also my favourite grilled food.
不過最厲害的還是外脆內軟的烤雞翅!
But we must remember what we came for - chicken wings! 
後來問了老闆娘這樣的雞翅到底是怎麼烤的,老闆娘說這沒有事先醃過。要醃過了,烤的皮就會是軟的。這些都是上了烤架之後邊烤邊調味的才能考出這樣的口感。
They had this amazing texture, where the skin was crispy, the the inside was cooked just right! I asked the lady owner how they'd done it, and she said that the secret was not to marinate the wings before putting them on the grill, but season them during the grill. 
番茄培根(因為天仙不吃豬肉,所以這道我就沒吃了)
Bacon tomato - I don't eat pork, so I skipped this.
 
烤物當然也要有最經典的魚下巴。淋上檸檬,實在是美味極了(不要拿金桔來騙我~)
What I didn't skip, was this classic of all grilled dishes - fish jaw! Tasted even better with lemon sprinkled. 
 
吃到後來,還是覺得雞翅的味道讓我們一猶未盡。因此就再加點了。
But we realised we wanted more chicken wings. So we ordered more. 
這種小店,藏在不起眼的道路旁,若非熟客介紹,應該不會有人知道,裡面藏著這麼多寶吧!
It's a very small place, hidden on the side of an insignificant road. You wouldn't know about this place unless someone told you about it, would you? There are lots of treasures hidden here waiting for you to dig out onto your plate!

在曼谷機場痛苦地過了一晚之後,事實證明,我的確沒有床會睡不好。雖然有在長椅上睡了一下(因為真的很睏),不過睡到一半卻被外國人宏亮的聲音嚇醒(還以為是要把我們趕走的)。後來索性就不睡了。晃一晃之後其實也離登機時間不久了。畢竟午夜才到,加上又辦了落地簽。所以其實也沒幾個小時可以睡啦(真的要睡的話)。不過某人倒是挺克難的,到那兒都可以睡... 
After a horrible night at Bangkok Airport, I realised that I really could not sleep without a bed... Although we managed to get a couple of hours' sleep on some benches, I was woken up by some loud passenger. I woke up thinking someone was about to evict us... So in the end, I decided not to sleep anymore. But after hanging around for a while, it was almost time to board our connecting flight anyway. Actually we didn't have that much time to sleep, since we arrived at around midnight, and had spent some time doing our visa upon arrival. But someone amazed me, because he could sleep anywhere, anytime! 
只是上了飛機沒多久,終於讓我們盼到靠窗的位子,一直很喜歡看飛機起飛與降落的我,雖然班機延誤了一點,但還是想要看看飛機起飛時的景象。不料此時我的眼睛卻很不聽話,一直想要閉起來。終於撐到起飛了!我就馬上ZZZZzzzzzzzz........
So we boarded our flight, which was slightly delayed. We found out that we finally got the window seats we had hoped for. I really enjoyed looking out the window during take off and landing, and so I got really excited. But my eyes were not. They wanted to close down and rest. I struggled to stay awake until the plane finally took off and then... ZZZZZzzzzzzzz.... 
沒過多久(其實整個航線也才不到一個小時),就開始要發點心了。話說這架班機就如抬頭所言,真的光是看都令人很難不嘴角上揚。無論是機艙內的色彩,點心袋子的設計,就連空服人員的服裝以及整體造型,光看就令人一整個開心呀。
Not long after take off, (the entire flight taking less than an hour) they started handing out snack packets. It was, indeed, difficult not to smile on this flight. I later realised why. The entire plane, from the colors of the seats to the design of the snack packet and the colors that the airhostesses were wearing, were all very pleasant!
一探究竟才發現,這班Airbus就叫Thai Smile。
We later realised that this was the Thai Smile Airbus! 
雖然只是個小點心,但是這架航班真的是點出了典型的泰國印象啊!
Although it was just a small snack, the flight was the epitome of the image of Thailand - Land of Smiles!
勉強拍到的空服員。我後來發現,他們連指甲油都塗得很鮮豔的顏色。一大早,睡眠又不足,搭到這班飛機,真的是一件很欣慰的事情!
This was the only photo I got of the airhostesses. Even their nail polish were in bright colors. On a sleep deprived morning, it was such a pleasant and comforting flight! 
 
於是,我笑著睡著。直到抵達目的地,清邁,我才要醒來~
And then, smiling, I went back to lala land, not to be awaken until we arrived at our destination - CHIANG MAI!

雖然我吃過的機上餐不多,但泰航提供的機上餐的確是我遇過雷最少的了。其實這次也不是刻意選泰航。上網去比較,直接選了最符合我們預算以及時間安排上比較可以接受的班次。所以其實我們到了曼谷就已經很晚了。隔天一早才要轉機到清邁。因為飛到曼谷其實也不用多久的時間,所以當我們看到是小飛機的時候,其實也沒有多失望啦。能夠到就好了。畢竟是攤了便宜,哪還能期待那麼多呢。
I don't have much experiences with in-flight meals, but the in-flight meals of Thai Airways, are the ones that I never had problems with before. We didn't mean to choose Thai Airways this time. It just happened to be the most affordable, and time-wise, most convenient. That's why we had to spend one night at the airport. The connecting flight was early next morning. Since the flight didn't take that long, we didn't mind the plane being so small when we saw the aircraft. We just wanted to get to our destination! After all, we did choose the cheaper tickets, what can we expect?
起飛後,立馬要了杯紅酒來喝。希望等等快速解決晚餐可以趕快睡個一覺!會認床的我早就知道就算機場安靜,我也不可能睡得多好。
After take off, we immediately asked for some wine, hoping that we'd fall right into sleep after the meal. I knew what no matter how quiet the airport would be, I won't be sleeping that well. 
不過雖然是台小Airbus,機內的配備倒是很先進呢!還可以充電!起飛後也可以開啟飛安模式聽自己手機裡的音樂。此航線因為比較短,所以我猜應該是沒有開放wifi(但我也沒問說不定有!)不過即使不能開機使用(或是開機了也沒用),至少抵達目的地後手機就有充滿電的電池可以使用!
Although the aircraft was a small Airbus, the facilities were quite new! You can charge your phones! After take off, you can also turn your phone on and access the music or other files from your phone. Since our flight was not that long, I didn't bother to check whether this particular flight provided wifi. But even though you might not be able to turn it on, at least you'll have a fully charged battery when you arrive at your destination!
同時每個座位也都有自己的娛樂系統。不用把脖子伸的像長頸鹿一樣,然後還要煩惱前面的人太高擋住你的視線。想看什麼就自己選。許多影片都有中文字幕版的。不想看電影也沒關係,有遊戲可以玩,也可以單純就選個自己愛聽的頻道聽聽音樂。
Other than the USB plug, there was, of course, our very own entertainment systems. You didn't need to stretch your neck like a giraffe, or worry about the tall guy in front of you blocking your view. Choose your own movies to watch (most of them have Chinese subtitled versions). If you're not in the mood for movies, then why not play a game, or just listen to some music of your own choice?
終於到了放飯時間。以前天仙吃過素,買機票的時候都要註明要特別餐。其實這次本來也應該要點海鮮類的特別餐(因為不吃豬牛羊),不過這點我居然給忘了!所以就沒有特權,不能讓人家先放飯給我,得乖乖等著跟大家一起吃了。輪到我們的時候,只剩下單一種餐點。還好,剩下來的是雞肉。開始期待是不是我朝思暮想的泰國味道呢!!
Finally! It was meal time. Since I used to be a vegetarian, I knew that special meals had to be ordered when you purchase your ticket. Then, you'll get to have your meal before everyone else! I intended to order seafood special meal this time (still don't eat pork, lamb, nor beef), but somehow it slipped my mind. So we ended up eating the same meals as everyone else. And I was so excited to get the meal! I thought I would be tasting some Thai cooking before we even got there!
打開之後好失望喔!竟然是台台味的三杯雞。雖然不難吃啦(而且也餓了),但本來期待可以先吃到泰國味的咩!(這餐應該是臺灣的空廚製作的吧)
After opening the foil, I was really disappointed to find a Taiwanese dish... It wasn't bad! It was just that I had really wanted to have something Thai instead!
嘴裡雖說豬牛羊不吃,不過度假期間我倒是也把胃開放給豬肉了!
And my tummy was ready to be on vacation too, so the belly is opening up for all the yummy pork dishes to come in!
這蛋糕看起來就不是我的菜。吃了一口,果然不是我的菜 XD
Judging from the look of this cake, I knew I wouldn't like it. After having a bite... I was right... 
麵包到還好一點。
The bun was so much better.
 
後來還是有小睡了一下。到了曼谷之後,已經十一點多快午夜了。在台時因為不想多耗掉一天假去辦簽證,所以就決定多花一點錢圖方便,到了機場再辦落地簽。結果抵達曼谷後,雖然有點小興奮,不過看到一堆人都愁眉苦臉的實在覺得很掃興。不過我還是笑著用泰文道謝。一邊又跟我的同行夥伴說:這是曼谷!你去到清邁就知道有多麼不一樣了!雖然已經很晚了,不過曼谷人要加油啊!不要枉費你們"Land of Smiles"之稱啊!
We did manage to get some sleep. It was almost midnight when we got to Bangkok. When we were still in Taiwan, I didn't want to waste a day off dealing with the visa, so we decided to get our visa upon arrival. It was such a big disappointment to see all the poker faces at the airport, but I still smiled and thanked everyone in Thai. I also convinced my travel partner, that this was Bangkok! And that Chiang Mai would be a lot different! Although I understand that it had been late, but Bangkok people, you must not ruin the reputation of your 'Land of Smiles', okay?
