這是我第二次來傳藝。第一次來的時候記得也是下雨。當天因為是跟志工團來的,所以報名了騎單車遊冬山河的行程。一邊要顧相機(當時還在用別人的單眼),一邊要騎車還真的是有給他困難!這次我們抵達的時候天氣不算差,但心裡想:這裡是宜蘭!所以傘當然是隨身帶著。這天沒有什麼特別的目的,就是想要隨興的晃。隨便用個午餐(真的很隨便所以連食記都懶得寫),然後就看能在這裡晃到多久囉!
This is my second visit to National Center for Traditional Arts. It rained during my first visit. I came with a group of volunteers, and I signed up for a bike ride along the river. It was quite a day, as I had to watch out for the camera (borrowed from a friend), and ride the bike at the same time. The weather wasn't that bad when we arrived this time, but knowing that this is Yilan, we had our umbrellas with us anyway. There was no special agenda for the day. We simply wanted to keep it simple. We had a casual lunch (so casual that I'm not going to bother posting an article about it), and then just hang out here until we get bored! 
其實這些小物當然是很可愛啦,只是想到買了回去又不知道能撐多久,就又把錢省下來了。
There were many of these small items sold here. They were all very cute, but I wouldn't know what to do with them once I took them home! 
不過到處看真的是不用錢!
But it didn't cost a thing to just take a look around. 
雖然對統X企業很有意見,不過我覺得這裡辦的還有點樣子。第一次來是周末,這次剛好有機會在周間來,感覺很不一樣!不用人擠人,相機拿起來想拍什麼角度就拍什麼角度!沒人擋!
We're not that big a fan of the corporation that established this center, but it can't be denied that they did quite a good job with the place. It was a weekend last time I was here. This time, there were less people, as we were here during a weekday. It was easier to take shots of whatever you wanted, with no one getting in your way. 
順便看看傳統藝術。走累了就坐下來歇息一下。
It was a nice way of getting to know some of the traditional arts.
上次錯過了傳藝下午的表演,這次特地跟老公說想要看!
I had missed out on their daily show last time, so I wanted to see it. 
看完演員們賣力的表演後,繼續小逛... 
The actors were all very professional. Great show. Then, we took another walk around.
我跟老公說想做個手工皂... 上次來看別組的人有做(自己跑去騎單車去了)所以一直很想做。
I saw a place with homemade soap and wanted to try it out. 
原來只是把一大塊肥皂做成其他不同造型然後串起來... 
I thought it was "make your own soap". It turned out, it was just making shapes out of a big chunk of soap, then put them together on a string. 
孩子玩得很開心,但是他的媽媽卻好緊張~
我們看了挺不解的... 但想想,媽媽只是不希望浪費肥皂吧!
這肥皂其實還滿好用的。可以拿來洗碗洗衣服。店員說因為清潔能力強不適合拿來洗身體。我們拿回去之後覺得洗碗的效果還不錯。
There were kids there, too. They seemed pretty excited, but the mother seemed a bit anxious. 
I suppose she just didn't want the kid to waste too much of the soap. 
The soap was actually quite nice. You can use the soap for dishes and handwash laundry. It wasn't recommended for showers, as the clerk pointed out that it might be too strong for the skin. 
再走幾步後,我們就決定先去看看我們的客房了!
After another walk around, we decided it was time to see our room for the night! (See previous post for the lodge)

breakfast01
一晚好眠後,我們一大早就起床了。我坐在院子裡讀著書給北鼻聽,然後孩子的爸去晨跑。雖然天氣陰陰的不算挺好,但至少不熱。其實算是在戶外閒晃的好天氣呢。孩子的爸回來後,我們就準備去用早點了!
After a good night rest, we were up really early. I sat outside in the garden reading a book to my little baby while the dad went out for a morning jog. The weather was not perfect, but it was not scorching hot. Perfect to hang out in the early morning before breakfast. When the dad got back, we were ready for breakfast. 
我們是來報到的第一組客人。其實對於用餐區我是覺得有點窄小。不過民宿主人一看我們到了就開始放輕音樂,滿有誠意的。其實如果天氣好的話,在院子裡用餐的感覺應該會更棒耶!
We were the first set of guests to arrive. The dining hall seemed a bit crowded. They started playing soft music as we sat ourselves down. I'm thinking, when it's nice out, it'd be quite pleasant to have breakfast out in the open air, don't you think?
有果汁,當然也有水果!當然也還有我喝不到的茶跟咖啡!
Juice and fresh fruit! Of course, there's also tea and coffee, which I won't be drinking!
再來就是重頭戲:早餐!

And all of these were made from local ingredients!
我吃得很開心!除了鴨子跟蝦子(大部分都給了孩子的爸),其他我都覺得很好吃。吃到一半有一組有國外來的客人。我看民宿還很貼心的準備了三明治!大概是那位客人吃不慣台灣的味道吧!這也算是滿貼心的服務!
I really enjoyed the meal, although I had my other half eat most of the shrimp and duck. Otherwise, I thought the feast was rather enjoyable. In the midst of our meal, came a set of foreign guests. The B&B had prepared one of them a set of sandwich instead of the usual Chinese style meal. I thought that was quite thoughtful of them. 
吃完早餐後,我們老毛病又犯了:硬是要在院子裡耗到退房時間才肯走!不過這個院子真的是好愜意啊!建議北部的朋友們可以多多抽空來這裡放鬆一下囉!
After our meal, we did our usual thing: lingered there until it was time to check out. The garden was so pleasant we didn't want to leave! I recommend this place to all friends living withing the city for a day or two away from the hustle and bustle!!

雖然沒有要出國度蜜月,不過天仙懇求老公,放婚假的這幾天,還是要找一天出走!
原本上網看了墾丁、花蓮、台東... 好多地方都想去!但後來還是決定不要去太遠,找個適合窩個一整天的地方好好休息就好。最後才選定宜蘭。其實去年生日的時候,我們就來宜蘭住過一晚。當時住的波卡拉我覺得也不錯!這次很猶豫,因為除了波卡拉還有另外一間我原本想去的。只是電話打去卻聽到因為正在裝修無法接客,因此只好再另外找。我想找的房型很簡單!不用多高級,但是一定要有落地窗,我才會有度假的feel!上網找了好久,終於看到這間有符合我的需求!
Since we weren't going abroad for our honeymoon, I begged my husband to spend one night out of town. 
I looked everywhere! Kenting, Hualien, Taitung... In the end, I figured I shouldn't go too far. It was then that we settled for Ilan. Actually, we were here last year for my birthday. We stayed at Pokrara, a very nice resort. It was a tough decision this time, as there was Pokara and this other place I had wanted to stay in. However, after calling them up, they told me they were under rennovation, and were not open for service. So I searched some more and finally found this place. I didn't ask for much. The place didn't have to be posh, but it did need to have a large window, as that was the only way to make me feel like I'm on holiday!

打開門後就有個小陽台。傍晚去完夜市之後就會回到這裡用餐。不過因為燈光實在太暗,所以就沒有記錄了!

雖然晚上下了點小雨,導致孕婦我不想扛著相機又要顧相機又要顧肚子的一邊逛夜市,因此索性就不帶相機去好好撐傘逛夜市。回來之後有個小插曲,另外一組客人把我們那扇門鎖上了!等了好一會兒,才有人來幫我們來開門。所以等我們回房準備吃晚餐,食物也都差不多冷掉了,為了嘗鮮買的包心粉圓也都融的不成樣了。(其實是因為看到包心粉圓整個崩壞了才決定放棄拍晚餐的!)XD
It rained a bit during the night. I didn't want to walk through the night market having to watch out for the camera and the baby in my tummy while holding an umbrella also... So I didn't take the camera to the night market. After we got back, we were locked out for a while... as the other set of guests decided to lock the door.... It took them a while to get back to us and open the door for us. But by then, the hot foods we bought had cooled down, and the icy dessert had melted. That was actually the last straw that made me give up on taking shots of our meal!

Galae湖畔餐廳跟之前介紹過的Ban Yen[點我看舊文]一樣,是個越夜越有氣氛的戶外餐廳。唯一的差別是,這裡好像是沒有live band。(印象中好像沒有)不過勝出Ban Yen的一點就是這間餐廳就位在湖畔!
Galae Restauarant is similar to  Ban Yen [see old post] in a few ways. The majority of the seats are outdoors, and the atmosphere gets even better later into the night. However, from what I remember, I don't think there is a live band here. Galae is located by a lake, which is also different from Ban Yen. 
如果跟雙條車司機或tuk tuk 司機說Galae,應該是八成可以找的到。這裡天仙小時候常來,是因為老爸的辦公室就在這山腰上。所以他們常來這裡聚會。有時候方便帶眷屬的場合,我跟老媽就會一起來。其實天仙小時候不吃辣的喔!所以來這種道地的泰式餐廳真的很浪費(因為沒幾樣可以吃的)。不過現在可不同了!
I suppose songthaew and tuk tuk drivers might know the place if you simply tell them to take you to Galae. I'd used to come here a lot when I was a kid, because my dad's office was close by. He and his colleagues would come here often, and when you were allowed to take your family with you, my mum and I would tag a long. To let you in on something here... as a kid, I wasn't able to eat spicy food. It was such a waste, because most of the foods you can order here are very spicy. But rest assured, it's a different case now!
因為去拜訪看著天仙長大的一位長輩,她很堅持要請我們吃飯。商討了半天,長輩提出這間餐廳,我聽了馬上點頭說好!
We went to see an old friend of ours, who insisted on taking us out for lunch. After discussing for a while, she suggested Galae, and I agreed without hesitation! 
點餐的時候想到:還沒讓老公嘗過新鮮的椰子汁!立馬點來給老公嚐嚐鮮。其實甜甜的椰子汁,也是可以幫忙解辣的。所以跟泰國菜真的很搭。
When we were studying the menu, I realised that the other half had not yet tried coconut juice straight from the fruit. So we ordered one for him. It's a good way to wash down the spice! 
來到清邁的時候,我就跟老公講好,難得來一趟,我們來這裡吃的一定要是一些台北吃不到的!所以打拋啊、青木瓜沙拉啊,那些台灣泰國餐廳常見的餐點我們都盡量不點。
Before coming to Chiang Mai, I told the other half, that since we weren't here every day, we should try and order things that we couldn't get in Taiwan. So things like krapao or papaya salad, were not included in our list of things to try! We tried our best to avoid these easily accessible dishes.
ไส้อั่ว Sai oua 泰北香腸
這是泰北香腸是因為我點了酸肉香腸之後,長輩建議也點這個風味不太一樣的給初次來清邁玩的老公嚐嚐鮮。
I wanted to order naam, but our friend recommended that we also try this Northern Thai suasage called sai oua. 
這跟酸肉香腸不一樣,裏頭包得滿滿的香料,而且也經過炭火烤過的熟食。天仙其實不太愛這一味,不過它真的滿特別的!來泰北的旅客真的可以嚐嚐。
It's very different from naam. It's filled with spices and grilled before served. It wasn't really my cup of tea, but I do recommend trying it, because it does have a very unique taste! 
ยำวุ้นเส้น Yum woon sen 涼拌冬粉
雖然這道台灣也吃的到,但是怎麼點怎麼吃就是沒有泰國的味道。所以思念著這味,也就點來吃了。
It's not impossible to find this in Taiwan, but I have yet to find a place that makes authentic yum woon sen! 
竹籃子裡擺的是泰國糯米。此程最大的敗筆就是,我完全沒有拍到糯米!囧!金歹勢啊!
上次已經提過糯米的吃法,這次在提醒大家一次:千萬千萬一定要用手吃。只有用手捏兩下之後的口感才會真正的美味!而在上圖的右上角... 沒錯!就是天仙超級愛的酸肉香腸啦!!不過等等再介紹!
The thing inside the bamboo basket is actually Thai sticky rice. I think my most lethal failure during this trip was forgetting to take a picture of the actual sticky rice! 
I'd mentioned the right way of eating sticky rice, but indulge me in saying this again: please do eat it with your hands! Give the rice a bit of a squeeze before stuffing it in! It helps make the texture right. And as you can see in the upper right hand side of the picture above - that's my favourite dish! NAAM! We'll talk more about that later! 
คอหมูย่าง Kohmooyang 烤豬肉
雖然看似普通的一道,不過泰式的碳烤方式的確是獨特。加上那旁邊沒照清楚的醬汁才是真正的特色!以前天仙不吃辣的時候,就是靠不沾醬的這種火烤料理解決一餐的。
This seems like a normal dish, but the grilled and roasted dishes are a must try while in Thailand! They are absolutely amazing! And the sauce - also makes it a unique dish! This used to be the only kinds of dishes I could eat when I wasn't that spice-tolerant!  
台灣人吃飯還是習慣來個湯。雖說台灣也喝的到,不過這大概是經典中的經典,所以實在很難避開不點。
Well, it's customary for Taiwanese to include sopme sort of sou into our meal, so here it is. I know this is something you can get in Taiwan as well, but do note that there are significant differences! 
ต้มยำกุ้ง Tom yam goon 酸辣鮮蝦湯
千萬別以為這裡的苳茵湯會跟台灣的一樣。在泰國的小辣,等於台灣的中辣。而這道又是不辣就不好喝的湯,所以怕辣的朋友們可能就真的無緣了!因為即使交代不要辣,還是會有點辣喔!
而我們沒有特別交代辣度,因此只能小口小口品嘗。不然的話,舌頭就要被那個辣味給KO了!
For one thing - do not underestimate it's spicy level! Although it looks just the same, when you take a sip, you'll know how different it is! If you ask for just a little bit of spice, chances are, if you're not a fan of spicy food, you will cry for your mother! And even if you ask for this dish to be non-spicy, it'll still be a little spicy.
We didn't specifically ask for them to alter the spice level, so we could only take small sips at a time.
這不是沒熟的辣椒,而是特殊品種,而且辣度可是要比紅辣椒辣上好幾倍的!別看它可愛就一口吞了!你可是會辣到直叫媽媽的!!
Another thing not to underestimate is the spice level of this seemingly cute and innocent chili. It's ten times more spicy than those red ones you're more used to seeing. Don't even try to take a bit if you're not an expert in eating spice! 
แหนมหมู Naam moo 酸生肉
重頭戲來了!
And here comes my favourite dish! 
這是天仙愛得不得了的酸生肉。這裡的酸生肉中間還包了辣椒!別看天仙這樣,就連我也是要先把中間那辣椒挑掉才吃得下去... 除非你耐辣程度真的到家,否則真的別輕易嘗試。
I just absolutely love this dish! Notice that they cheekily wrapped those green chilies in the naam as well. Even for me, I had to take out the chili before stuffing it in my mouth! So beware! 
吃到這裡,辣到不行的菜都差不多上完了。如果覺得光靠椰子汁解辣還不夠,那不彷把裡面的果肉挖出來吃吧!
At this point, we'd pretty much got rid of all the spicy dishes. It was time to wash down that numbness caused by all the chilies. If you don't think the juice sufficient, I'd suggest you scrape off the pulp. It will help. 
ผัดไทย Pad Thai 泰式炒河粉
其實吃到這裡我們已經很飽了。不過台灣人的熱情就是這樣!儘管在泰國住了大半輩子,招待賓客的禮俗還是照舊不變!怕我們沒吃飽,又多點了這道泰式炒河粉。
We were pretty much stuffed by now, but you know how Taiwanese are... even if you've lived overseas for such a long time, the passion for tending to your guests remain the same! So... our host ordered yet another dish for us! 
你瞧瞧!這醬料四重奏又來了!它會跟著炒河粉一起上,就知道炒河粉要好吃就一定要加這些!(糖可以省略,我到現在都還不習慣加糖,但泰國當地的人真的是四樣都會加)
This sauce rack would come without saying with the pad Thai! Try putting a bit of each on the pad Thai (though you could skip the sugar... even I skip that!)
攪拌均勻之後就是道地的美味佳餚。
Mixed it up a bit and you get a delicious plate of pad Thai! 
這一餐吃下去,肚子真的大了兩倍!(當時還沒懷孕不過應該會被誤會...這樣!)
After the meal, I felt like there was a baby inside me (but I was not yet pregnant then!)
不過話說這餐廳最棒的除了道地的泰式餐點之外,當然也有美不勝收的景色!
Now, it's time to take a look around the place! 
用餐過後可以在附近晃晃。上圖中就是我們稍早用餐的地方。這裡跟Ban Yen不一樣的就是白天跟夜晚所能享受的景色是全然不同的。
Take a nice walk after the meal to help digest the food. The picture above shows where we were having our meal. The place would look completely different during the night. 
附近有條小道路,完全沒有遮蔽物。讓你可以看到清邁市的一角。中間那龐大的建築物旁,就是我們居住的旅館 Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel[點我看舊文]。
這幾天都陰陰的,也還沒有下過雨。如果運氣好,恰好遇到大雨過後,整座城市會變得更清楚。小時候的清邁車子還不算多。我一出機場就被現在的車輛嚇到了。不過即使車輛變多了,空氣也還是比曼谷清晰個好幾百倍。
There is a passage way close by, and without anything in the way, you can see Chiang Mai from this angle. The bulky buiding at the center there... right next to it, would be the hotel in which we were staying at - Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel [see old post]. 
The weather had been cloudy since we arrived. It had not rained. If you're lucky, seeing this after the rain would be the most breathtaking scene! When I was still l iving here, there weren't as many cars. I was shocked by the amount of cars on the streets when we got out of the airport! But even then, the air was still a lot better than the air in Bangkok! 
  
這裡真的是愜意用餐的好地方!
It's such a nice, relaxing place for lunch (and dinner, too)!

台中的泰式料理真的很多。這間以前來外帶過。看舊文。不過也已經隔了很久,所以這天決定再來一次。這次點的跟上次都沒重複到,而且都是非常一般,大家可能都會點的餐點。因為這天是平日,而且其實也有點晚了,因此店裡面沒有多少人。我們先來看看菜單吧!
There are so many Thai places in Taichung. We'd tried the food here before, but it's been a long while since then. We decided to come here again. None of the dishes we ordered this time were the same as the ones we ordered last time. See old post. These were quite ordinary dishes. Dishes that everyone would order. Seeing that it was a weekday, and it was a little past lunch time, there were only a few people at the shop. Let's look at the menu first.
台中的泰式料理店啊最大的優點就是真的很平價!看這個價錢多點幾盤都沒問題!可以吃得很過癮!
Look at those prices! You can only find exotic food at these prices outside of Taipei! You could order as many dishes as you wish! 
看到這裡也有醬料四重奏,就知道店家真的有用心研究泰國菜!

不過,打拋還是放了洋蔥!
However, onions were still added in the khra pao dish! 
原本我們是點其他的涼拌,不過同行的友人想點涼拌牛肉,我們就取消了原本要點的。
We were going to order another type of salad, but our friend ordered this cold beef dish, so we discarded the other dish. 
因為忙了一個周末沒有好好吃青菜,所以一定要有一盤青菜!
After a busy weekend, we wanted to make sure we had enough veggies. 
很久沒吃的涼拌青木瓜絲。
We haven't had this in a while - papaya salad. 
基本上味道都很不錯。只是還攀不上「道地」。但以這種價位而言,真的不用太講究。已經算是CP爆表的泰式料理了!不過這天很不巧的,拍到涼拌青木瓜之後,手機就沒電了!然後呢,歷經千辛萬苦帶回台中的單眼,也被遺忘在家裡。所以... 剩下的都沒拍到囉!
Over all, they were pretty good. I wouldn't go so far as call it 'authentic', but seeing how cheap these dishes were, I think we could just let it go... 
Unfortunately, my phone went dead after this photo. And I had also left my DSLR at home, so these are all the photos you'll get to see!

泰鑽是天仙爸媽的友人推薦的一間泰國餐廳。這位長輩友人其實也去過不少次泰國。天仙爸媽這次推薦來這兒用餐,想說既然這位友人這麼親賴這間,想必一定有值得被推薦之處吧!
This Thai place was recommended by a friend of my parents. This friend of theirs had been to Thailand several times, so we thought highly his recommendation. 
看看菜單,以台中的價位,部算是平價。但又比瓦X划算許多。這間看到許多其它間沒看到的菜色。不過台灣人愛吃的菜色不外乎就那幾樣,想嘗鮮的人我想應該不多。
Looking at the menu, the price seemed a bit steep for Taichung, but it was still cheaper than the more posh places. There were several dishes that couldn't be found at other places. But Taiwanese people enjoy only a few certain types of dishes, so I doubt many are in for an adventure.
店內布置以及水杯及飯桶一樣都是很泰式。碗盤跟筷子擺在桌上就知道這大部分的客人是台灣人來著。
The interior, along with the cups and rice holder are very Thai style. You can tell from the bowl, plate, and chopsticks, that the majority of the customers are Taiwanese indeed. (Thai people usually eat with fork and spoon). 
第一道上來的是那101道打拋豬肉。因為有洋蔥,所以給我們扣了一點分數。而且這裡的打拋有點偏濕。我們習慣吃略乾的。
The first dish up was the khrapao (pork). We didn't think very highly of it, as it had onion in it. Also, there was a bit too much sauce.
這道是雲南名菜:大薄片。以前還沒養成習慣吃豬肉的時候,常常為了這道破例!切的薄薄的豬肉片,配上酸辣的醬汁,還有帶蔬菜。非常美味可口。也是一道非常安全的菜。
This dish is a famous Yunnan dish. It's basically a sour and spicy salad of very thinly sliced pork. Before I got into the habbit of eating pork, I often made exceptions just to get a taste of this! There is also a considerable amount of veggies in it. Since it's not difficult to make, I'd say it's quite a 'safe' dish to order, anywhere you go. 
不過天仙最愛的就是這一道:酸肉煎蛋![之前介紹泰北名菜有介紹過酸生肉點我看舊文]
天仙從未想過離開泰國後還能吃到酸肉!上次貼出有介紹酸生肉,大部分格友留言表示不敢嘗試,因為是生的。其實大可以先來這裡嚐嚐烹調過的酸肉。一般而言,天仙吃煎蛋總是喜歡挑蛋吃。不過這次例外了!調皮的天仙,竟然專挑酸肉吃。吃完了還想跟店家買酸肉回家啃呢!
老實說,其實酸生肉是可以自己做的。不過難度在於濕度跟溫度都要控制好。在台灣這種溼氣重的情況下,天仙實在不太敢輕易嘗試。
Now, the dish that really made the day was this fried egg with naam. Naam is a kind of sausage made from fermented raw pork. 
I had never imagined that once I left Thailand, I could still taste naam! The last time I introduced this, the comments revealed that many were not willing to try this. I would suggest that if you are holding back because it's raw meat, then you could try this dish to get a sense of what it taste like. Whenever I order fried egg dishes, I'd eat the egg part first. But this time, I was very naughty! I ate all the naam! And afterwards, I even wished to buy some naam from them!
Actually, you can make naam at home. But it's difficult to control the humidity and temperature to ensure the process doesn't go wrong. Now, since Taiwan has such a humid climate, I don't dare to have a go at it. 
這一碗其實是咖哩蝦。因為懷孕蝦子要少吃,加上天仙平時不太愛咖哩,因此沒吃幾口。不過這道倒是挺下飯的喔!
This probably doesn't look as tasty as it really is. It's curry shrimp. I didn't have very much of it, because I'm trying to avoid taking in too much shellfish. Plus, I've never been a big fan of curry. 
當然餐餐少不了的青菜,來這也是要點!
Veggie of the meal!
清蒸檸檬魚。以這樣規模的餐廳,魚的肉質算是不錯吃。一旁的湯汁也是挺下飯的。
In terms of the scale of this restaurant, I'd say the fish was pretty good. The sour and spicy soup of the steamed fish also went well with rice. 
這道也是為了嘗鮮而點的。因為不是每間餐廳都有,天仙爸又特別懷念這道菜。不過一上桌,天仙爸就不太滿意。怎麼跟泰國吃到的可以差這麼多?
Shrimp potted with vermicelli. My dad wanted to try this dish. He really enjoyed this dish when we were in Thailand. But he was very disappointed when it was served. 
於是我們攪拌了一下之後,才終於有點像樣。我們在泰國吃到的,冬粉都是在上面,蝦子都是鋪在鍋子底的。這味道,其實也沒有很入味。天仙爸是有點失望了。
這一餐四個人吃,點的菜有點多。所以算下來其實我們覺得稍稍貴了些。不過後來想想,有一兩道沒吃完的包回去,晚上只要再煮個白飯又是一餐了!其實也還好!
After we mixed it up again, it looked more like what my dad had expected. The ones we used to have in Thailand, had the shrimps at the bottom of the pot... Aside from the appearance, though, we didn't think it tasted anything like what we had anticipated. 
It was a bit too much food for just the four of us, so the bill turned out to be a little expensive. But then, we took what we couldn't finish home - mostly the curry and made another meal from just that. So in the end, it was still within an acceptable range.

從一開始我就一直很期待要來找幾場媽媽教室來聽聽。曾經看過網路上有媽媽竟然參加了20場媽媽教室跟35場媽媽教室!看他分享他拿到的贈品,其實我也沒有很羨慕啦!(謎之音:真的嗎?)一方面我沒那麼多時間,另一方面這些贈品大部分都沒什麼用處吧!
既然不是貪圖贈品,那我到底為什麼這麼堅持一定要上媽媽教室呢?
其實原因很簡單!第一個,也是首要的,就是圖個安心!寶寶再度子裡一天一天地長大!十個月說長不長,說短卻又不短!只是時間一下就過去了!不好好趁著個時候學習怎麼生孩子,怎麼帶孩子,等到當下遇到狀況了,可就慌了啊!所以多聽多學,當然是有益無害。另個原因,是因為我的產檢日都是在周間。公司福利算不錯,有產前假可以用在產檢上。不過爸爸要是每個月都請假陪我產檢,那今天一整年都別想拿到全勤獎了。為了多賺一點多存一點奶粉錢,我跟孩子的爸商量好,要是沒有什麼問題,產檢就我去就好。但這樣一來,孩子的爸的參與感就減少很多了!
所以我堅持,每一場媽媽教室,都要他陪著我去。我一個人去多沒意思!為的不是出現在媽媽教室中會比較有面子,而是為了讓孩子的爸有參與感!這些媽媽教室常常會講到孕期會遇到的狀況。有時候我們自己說,老公們不痛不癢的,大概以為我們只是在撒嬌吧!但透過媽媽教室的講師們敘說,他們會更容易了解我們的辛苦。回家後當然也會更體貼、包容我們。最重要的是,陪產的時候,以及孩子出生後,準爸爸也會了解要怎麼做才可以幫忙照顧孩子。
去產檢的時候,醫院就有附上他們舉辦的媽媽教室。不過一個月才差不多一次,然後大部分又都是在周間。對於要上班的爸媽來說,真的要好好的考量哪場值得去!而我上網開始找的時候,又發現並沒有一個整合全台媽媽教室場次的媒介。所以只能從各大醫院、婦產科以及孕婦裝啦、奶粉啦、嬰兒用品之類的廠商官網去找。
天仙參加過三種類型的媽媽教室:1. 醫院舉辦的 2. 奶粉廠商舉辦的 3. 臍帶血銀行舉辦的。
醫院舉辦的,無論講師是醫生還是護理師,都可以學到很多東西。而且就算講師自己沒生過,都還是可以安心聽他們的話!畢竟人家是專業!奶粉廠商所舉辦的媽媽教室就有分是他們內部的衛教人員(這是好聽,其實都是銷售原來著)或是外聘講師。我曾經聽過一場就是著名的馬偕小兒科醫師主講的,真的學到很多!再來就是臍帶血銀行舉辦的了!我們參加的那一場分上下兩場。上半場是奶粉廠商主講,下半場才是臍帶血。因為我們很怕臍帶血銀行的積極攻勢,所以整個跳過!即使知道聽完以後會有福袋,而臍帶血銀行因為比任何廠商都積極,所以贈品一定很豐盛。但我們還是堅持不聽就離開了。
這幾場聽下來之後我覺得,產檢醫院或診所若有舉辦,是一定要聽個幾場!即使沒有贈品也是可以學到新知的!奶粉廠商的也是可以聽。尤其是當你還沒決定要給北鼻喝什麼配方奶的時候,就算他們要講一些關於產品的說明其實也是可以加減聽。經過幾場之後,其實我們也真的有點頭緒該怎麼選配方奶了。至於臍帶血的部分,我覺得除非你真的有在考慮,真的不用浪費時間去聽。別貪圖那個福袋囉!但如果今天主講人是醫生來著,那真的就可以聽一下。
主辦單位跟主講人雖然重要,但是主題也是考慮的因素之一。
我最想聽的其實是關於哺乳方面的。雖然報名的這幾場都沒有明確標示有講到,但好在醫院主辦的那場有稍微講解。最不能錯過的就是拉梅茲呼吸法!其實也不是刻意,但這個主題我們就聽了兩次!另外還有新生兒沐浴,我覺得學到很多。前面提到小兒科醫生主講的那場,也學到了一些寶寶出生後可能會遇到的一些狀況。至於其他的,就是看個人想要了解什麼主題了。雖說現在書籍出的那麼多,但是看完書再去參加媽媽教室,總是會加深記憶。而且書中沒能得到的答案也可以趁這個時候問問主講人~
雖然不是為了貪圖贈品而參加,但除了醫院舉辦的媽媽教室之外,多少都是可以拿到一些贈品的。
左手邊的手提袋雖小,但其實可以裝雨傘或是保溫杯之類的長型物品。寶寶出生後應該也可以放個奶瓶之類的。
這個是讓我覺得有點浪費資源的東西。不過還算有趣。那些眼鏡,是可以讓你了解北鼻出生後的視力狀況。上面的圖卡說是可以幫助開發視力用的。那個轉盤好像是用來測預產期的。
 
左下角這個像曼谷包的東西,是還滿好用的。原本不知道NUK到底是在幹嘛用的,不過看完這些贈品,之後又在其他店裡看到才了解原來是賣嬰兒用品的!品質似乎都不錯。贈品也都挺有誠意的(都是真的用得上的東西)
雖然是個不起眼的贈品,但是有了維尼熊,這卻成了我的最愛之一~ 真是可愛!以後真的要貼起來給北鼻量身高~
NUK跟奶粉廠商都有附上小冊子。不過我看大部分參加的媽媽都已經五個月以上了(肚子都很大了),現在才看這個似乎有點晚~
上面提到的NUK贈品。除了那不知道能裝什麼的看似很脆弱的袋子,其他兩個我想日後應該用的上。
看袋子就知道,其實這也是奶粉廠商的贈品。竟然是尿布!不過濕紙巾倒是現在就可以用上了!
除了手扎裡有折價券,還另外在附上了一張20元的折價券。但尿布這麼貴,才折個$20會不會太.... 
前面提到,雖然醫院的媽媽教室不會有贈品。但這場因為有菸害防制宣導。Q&A的時候,還是給了點小贈品。天仙家有倫敦熊,我一看是英國熊,立馬叫老公舉手搶答 XD
除了這些贈品以及實用的新知之外,其實天仙也觀察到了一些有趣的事情。透過這些事情,也讓天仙了解自己真的沒選錯老公。雖然不能陪產檢,但其實我們都很無奈。不過每堂媽媽教室,孩子的爸的筆記可是做得比天仙還要認真(因為天仙書寫中文比較慢,要翻成英文才寫又很費時)。這幾堂媽媽教室中,我看見有爸爸突然中間離席(似乎是去處理公事)。雖然他們夫妻好像也不是第一胎,但天仙跟老公說了,要是今天上到一半離開的是他,我肯定跟他沒完沒了啊!另外,在上關於新生兒沐浴的課程時,有位年輕的媽媽,囑咐一旁的年輕老公說:以後你要幫北鼻洗澡。我看那位爸爸中場突然進來已經滿臉的無奈了,聽到自己老婆這樣說,便道:我才不要!(他有解釋說是怕弄傷北鼻)但儘管如此,我還是覺得... 至少我選的老公,孩子的爸,給我的安全感到目前為止,真的是100%。所以前面才會說,讓爸爸一起參加媽媽教室,好處是非常多的!即使老公因為工作上的需求沒有辦法給予太多幫助,但至少可以透過媽媽教室的講師以及其他媽媽的經驗分享,讓他們了解,我們生孩子需要經歷些什麼過程!
實用的媽媽教室,不用參加太多場。多看幾個主題,挑幾個你自己覺得可以學到最多的來上就可以了。至於爸爸要不要跟,其實也是在個人囉!如果爸爸想跟當然是最好的。不過每個人的狀況都不一樣,天仙是因為孩子的爸沒辦法陪產檢,才想安排他可以參與的媽媽教室。只是希望各位爸爸在被拖去上媽媽教室的時候,要理解:生孩子真的不是我們媽媽一個人的事、一個人的責任。所以不要覺得媽媽教室叫媽媽一個人去上就好了。尤其是像拉梅茲這種課程,爸爸的重要性是非常的高的喔!

說到碗粿,其實天仙不是特別愛。但是對這間卻特別有感情。之前還不吃豬肉的時候,嘴饞會把裏頭的肉挑掉。到底什麼原因?讓天仙這麼愛這間碗粿?
其實又要說到天仙的童年了。在還沒離開台灣之前,天仙媽就在附近工作。當時還沒蓋捷運,而現有的捷運站上方原本是市場。這間碗粿當時就在市場裡。無論是陪著媽媽上班,下班後一起來吃,還是媽媽下班後打包好幾份回家,這味道就是天仙的童年。
所以每次來到龍山寺,都會想要來上一份。這次趁著給月老還願,就一起來品嘗一下這個天仙童年的味道。
I'm not a big fan of these savoury rice puddings, but this is a place that has my childhood memories. Before I started eating pork, I would pick out the pork and have the rest of the pudding. So what is the reason why I love this place so much?
Well, we'd have to go back a long way to my childhood, before we all left Taiwan. My mum used to work in the vicinity, and either we would come here together, or she would take some home as lunch or afternoon snack. What is now the MRT, used to be a market. The place used to be a stall in the market place. 
That's why, whenever we come to Longshan Temple, which is nearby, I'd always try and squeeze a spot in my tummy for this.
店裡賣的東西不多,除了碗粿就是魚羹。所以點餐、上餐、翻桌速度都很快。
They only serve two things here: the rice puddings and milkfish thick soup. That's why the entire process of ordering, serving, and eating moves along quite fast.
桌上附上餐具及醬料。
You'll find garlic, chilli, vinegar, and pepper on the table, along with forks for the pudding.
這就是天仙童年的味道!
And this is what my childhood tastes like! 
裏頭有蛋黃也有一大塊肉。
You'll find a big chunk of meat in it. There is also an egg yolk. 
然後還有虱目魚羹。天仙不愛這味,所以都留給老公。不過多愧老公點了這道,我才有得拍~
Now, I don't normally order this thick soup, but thanks to my other half, I get to take a picture of the soup as well.
還願完剛好要回娘家。天仙爸媽還指定了要外帶。自從搬去台中後,他們也很難得吃到。
And some to take home to the parents, since we were heading home later that afternoon.
店面雖不大,但因為賣的樣式不多所以其實大家吃的也不會太久。
這間老店的好味道,推薦給大家!
It's a small place, but since they only serve two kinds of dishes, it won't be a long wait, that is, if you have to wait at all. 
It's an old shop with great food, and I'm recommending it to you all!

這夏天下廚啊是最折磨人的了!尤其是現在又挺個大肚子,再一個沒有整規廚房的小小套房裡弄出個一兩樣菜來,還沒吃到飯恐怕早就累癱了。這天孩子的爸從下午就出門,一直要到很晚才回來。已經很少這樣一個人度過整個周末的夜晚了。最擔心的竟然是晚餐要吃啥!很想要自己煮,卻又怕麻煩。後來想到天仙媽曾經教過天先做的這道稀飯,美味又可口!把白米換成糙米或是五穀十穀米,更添加了一些營養。雖說懷孕不要吃太多鴨蛋皮蛋之類的,不過老實說,自己做的這道,怎麼說都還是比外頭做的吃的要安心啦!只要不是每天吃(微量或少量的吃)其實也不用那麼緊張。(話說我事後看了十穀米的成分才發現原來裡面有孕婦禁用的薏仁,不過他只是十穀的其中一種,量應該不多!)
所需食材:
十穀米&白米(1:1比例或十穀米更少)一杯
金針菇 半包
鹹鴨蛋 1~2個
皮蛋 1~2個
五花肉 1條
米酒 少許
水 4~5杯
如果今天大家想要用一般的白米,那就洗先把米洗好,再來處理其他的材料就好。若是使用糙米或多穀類的米,洗後請先提前倒入一杯水浸泡30分鐘。浸泡約15分鐘後可以開始備其他材料。
五花肉可依個人喜好留著皮或去皮。切開的大小也可依個人喜好自行調整。不過盡量不要切太大塊,咬起來會有點老,影響口感。
切好之後,倒入一點米酒,用手抓一抓。放置一旁,醃一下去腥。
金針菇洗淨後依個人喜好切成段。
皮蛋、鹹蛋剝殼後切成小塊。(因為皮蛋其實不太好切,會黏在刀子或沾板上,所以可以用手拿著切好直接丟入。請小心傷手。)
備完料後,米也差不多浸的夠久了。直接把切好的食材全部丟進去,再倒入3~4杯水。水量可依個人喜好調整。喜歡稀一點的就加多一點水。為保險起見,寧願多加水也不要少加。因為電鍋跳起來發現太稀的話其實可以再讓它悶一下!水分就會被米吸起來。
可以用湯匙攪拌一下,煮出來的才會均勻。
外鍋倒入1/4杯水或再多一點,按下電源等他跳起!跳起後白米悶5分鐘左右,其他多穀類的請多悶15~30分鐘,才不會吃到軟硬不分的米喔!
因為鹹鴨蛋的緣故,已經有鹹味了!因此根本就不用再加鹽巴。但若你喜歡重口味的,可以再自行加一點醬油,也會更香!
這天我是懶得再弄,不然其實還可以在電鍋跳起時,加入一點切碎的青江菜,丟進去悶!這樣,尤其是家中有小朋友的,又可以輕鬆吃到青菜哩!

結婚是個非常瑣碎既麻煩的過程。雖然天仙娘家婆家都很體諒我們在外地工作的不便以及經濟上也給了很多通榮,所以一切從簡。不過,人生難得才一次的結婚過程,有些事情還是不能省。天仙也曾很天真的想過,要全部自己動手來。不過隨著時間一點一滴的過去,最後總還是回到:有錢能解決就好... 這段期間,跟娘家與婆家的溝通要非常的頻繁。我覺得這整個過程的設計,雖然每個新娘幾乎都會至少崩潰個一兩次,但卻是非常的必要!何謂如此呢?我覺得若是跟婆家娘家不熟悉就草草的只有登記,其他都省略了!其實以後婆家娘家兩家子也不太有機會再變的更熟了。說句不討喜的話,有時候婚前的這些衝突可以讓你看清很多事實。重要的不是有沒有吵架,而是有了衝突你們怎麼去克服(各位已婚的你們說是吧!!??)

覺得這些照片很有趣嗎?看起來是不是很有質感?到了清邁,除了好吃還有好玩的!其實天仙高中畢業前就有來這裡拍過傳統藝術照。我們一直以為價錢很高不想拍。不過那年剛好心血來潮去問了價錢才知道一點都不貴。事隔多年後,帶著當時還是未婚夫去清邁玩,就也想要趁機再重新拍一組起來留著作紀念。
這間位於多年前很熱鬧的night bazaar(夜市)。原本也在我們的shopping行程中。不過聽友人提起才知道原來這麼多年來,這裡也逐漸落寞了。除了還可以騙騙不熟清邁的觀光客之外,幾乎是沒什麼人會想要來逛了。不過天仙此行是有任務的,所以還是得來。
Don't these photos look interesting? Intrigued? Well, there is more than just food waiting for you in Chiang mai. Actually, I'd taken photos like these once before I left for Taiwan during high school. We had always imagined it being really expensive. Until that one time when we decided to ask for the price, then we realised that it was actually pretty cheap! After all these years, I had come back again! This time, with my fiance (at the time), so I wanted to take the opportunity to take these photos again.
This studio is located in the midst of the night bazaar. It was one of our anticipated itineraries. Except, my friend told me over dinner the night before, that no one comes here any more, other than a few tourists. Everyone else would go to this other place for shopping! But since we had a mission to accomplish, we still had to come. 
其實這裡不用怕被坑,因為價錢很透明化。這裡一排一共約兩三間都是拍這樣的照片的。所以不彷全部都問,在挑一間自己覺得價錢合理,風格也是自己喜歡的。由於天仙記憶中也是在第一間拍的,就也沒多問,直接選定這間了。
There is no need to worry about getting ripped off here. You can see the price labelled on placards outside the studios. Also, there are a number of shops located right by each other. If you still feel unsafe, you could try asking all the studios before deciding. From what I remembered, this first studio was where we had ours taken years ago. That's why we didn't bother asking other studios.
進去之後他們會給你相本,讓你挑造型跟衣服。挑好之後就開始化妝。
在此天仙想要小小的提醒,如果你肌膚敏感,那你可能要跟他們協調不要上妝,直接作髮妝跟衣服的選擇就好。因為這些照片的價位不高,所以他們所使用的彩妝也不用期待品質會多好。因此敏感性肌膚的就要小心喔!
Once you decide on which studio to work with, they'll let you look through photos to choose which style of hair and dress you'd like. Then, the make over will begin! 
Before I move on, I must remind you ladies with sensitive skins, that since the price for these photos aren't that expensive, you can't expect them to use high quality cosmetic products. Therefore, if you worry about your skin, then tell them you'd like to skip the facial make up and let them just do the hair and the dress. Otherwise, I can't be sure what those products might do to your sensitive skin! 
女生因為要上妝所以花比較久的時間。等到上妝完成,男生就可以去挑衣服、換衣服。這樣才能夠同步完成,開始拍照。
他們拍照也有自己一套的SOP。不過不用怕,因為這組照片拿回去自己的國家,怎麼看都是很特別的。所以不用太在意啦!
拍完照以後,他會先讓你換回原來的衣服。之後再坐下來挑照片。看你選的是哪種套組,可以挑一張放大的,然後其他也會洗出來給你。沒挑到的毛片也都會給你。只有幫你洗出來的照片會修過。
完成之後付費。差不多一兩個晚上後就可以取照片了!
所以想要拍傳統藝術照的話,記得這個行程一定要安排在頭一個晚上!這樣三四天的行程中才有足夠的時間回去取件喔!
It takes longer for ladies (for the make up). After that, the man can go ahead and choose his attire and go change into that. This is the only way to make sure that both of you are ready at the same time.
They have their own standards for posing in these photos. Just do what they say. Don't worry too much about being the same with everyone else. Because once you take these photos back to your own country, they'll still be special! 
After the photo shoot, you'll get to change back to your own clothes. Then, they'll sit you down to choose the photos you want developed and enlarged. These ones will be slightly photoshopped. But you'll get all the photos on a CD. 
Once you've done that, pay for your photos, and then wait two to three nights to get the CD and the photos. 
So if you're planning to do this, make sure you go on your first night in Chiang mai, to make sure there would be enough time for you to retrieve the photos!

當全台都在瘋全X芒果霜淇淋、全世界都在瘋Häagen-Dazs、Cold Stone等...,天仙心理念念不忘的還是小時候在清邁熟悉的Dairy Queen。上次參加Canada Day慶祝活動得知原來台灣已經有開分店了!這天像發了瘋似的直接跑來遠的要命的天母來一探究竟。當時看DM得知在天母設立第一間分店的時候,我就覺得真的是個好策略!因為這裡就離美國學校不遠。即使孩子們不知道,家長們一定都會知道。從這裡先開發市場,測水溫的策略其實滿聰明的說!開玩笑!這間可是標榜「股神巴菲特最愛」的冰淇淋店呢!
When the entire world goes insane over Häagen-Dazs or Cold Stone ice creams, the only ice cream I really missed was Dairy Queen. I used to have their ice cream all the time back in Chiang Mai. When I found out on Canada Day that Dairy Queen had already opened up in Taipei, we were so excited that we took this exlusive trip just to get a taste of it! They couldn't have chosen a better location as their trial... as this one was right by the Taipei American School. Even if the kids don't know about it, the parents would no doubt miss the taste of this scrumptious ice cream. There is no kidding in saying that it is, after all, Warren Buffett's favourite ice cream place (allegedly).
後來上網查才知道原來這間2013年底就開了!奇怪了是廣告做得不夠多嗎?10月才在泰國吃完想說下次要再吃到應該又要等好久了,沒想到已經悄悄的在台北開了!從店內裝潢看起來真的開沒多久。
人潮不算多但也不算少。還在可以接受的範圍。我目測了一下大家點的東西,幾乎都是我沒吃過的。其實這是因為來Dairy Queen,我只會點一種:Oreo Blizzard。
After checking online, I found out that the place was opened in December 2013. I could not believe I did not hear a single word about the place! When we had our last Dairy Queen in Thailand, we thought it would be a really long time until our next Dairy Queen! Never would've thought that a shop would already have opened right here in Taipei! 
I wouldn't exactly describe the place as packed when we got there, but there was quite a crowd. I looked around to see what everyone was having, and only a few ordered my favourite blizzard.

千萬別跟我說想吃這個到麥XX就有了!因為根本就不一樣!從他倒過來不會灑這點你就應該要知道這兩者的差異了。

那天拿到的宣傳單有送免費的mini。我想孕婦也不能吃太多冰,來的mini就夠了。老公就看他愛點什麼就點啥吧。結果他也是點了blizzard,不過是M&M口味的。
The coupon we got the other day gave us a mini for free. I guess it was enough for a knocked-up lady like me, so I would have the mini, and the other half could have whatever he wished. He also ordered a blizzard in the end, except, it was M&M flavoured.
雖然這樣一杯不算便宜,但是料真的很實在。保證你每挖一瓢都挖的到M&M!
Despite it's rather steep price, it's quite the money's worth when you realise that you get M&M with every scoop! 
而跟麥XX的冰炫風不能比的oreo blizzard差別就在於,你還看的到oreo的顆粒!而不是全部打碎乎巄過去!
And what differentiated this from Mac's version, is that you can still see chunks of Oreo in it! 
好消息:公館門市將在八月開幕!這真是天大的好消息,因為天母實在是太遠了啊!

店員在地給你的時候,也會先倒過來給你看。
When they serve you your blizzard, they'll serve it upside down. Or else, you'll get it for free. But mind you, it's probably never happened before. 
除了各式各樣的冰淇淋之外,還有冰淇淋蛋糕!這應該是響應最近的世足賽而設計的吧!?
I suppose this has to do with the recent World Cup craze. Interesting to know that they have ice cream cakes, too! 
雖然不便宜,但是這款我還滿想吃吃看的耶!
Although the price is a bit steep, I do really want to try this!
