This was 'the last supper' in Liverpool. We came to Nando's because it was also my friend's last night in town. It was his favourite restaurant, as we celebrated his birthday here as well. READ MORE. What he loved about Nandos was, obviously, the chicken. But for me, it was the sangria. 

這就是我在利物浦"最後的晚餐"。會選擇Nando's，是因為這也是我麻吉的最後一晚。而這又是他最愛的餐廳。他生日當天我們也是來這裡慶祝的。［點閱舊文］。他當然是喜歡這裡的雞肉餐。不過我喜歡的是他們的水果調酒 - sangria。

Remember Easter, 2009? This was where I came to observe the Easter service. [Read More] The Anglican Cathedral is the largest Cathedral in the UK, and the fifth largest in the world. As I found out later during my final days in the UK, you simply can't go into a massive cathedral like this without climbing to its top and take a peek at the view from above. This is exactly what I did.

記得2009年的復活節嗎？當時就是來這裡參加復活節儀式的。［閱讀舊文］這間教堂是全英國最大的教堂。也是世界第五大的教堂。在我離開英國之前有機會得知，像這種大教堂，如果你沒有爬上最頂端從上面看下來，你根本就是白來了。所以我當然要在離開利物浦前趕快爬上去一下！

開車勿飲酒、飲酒勿開車。

This was a day during my last days in Liverpool. Being a city by the Mersey River, it just didn't make sense to leave without getting a tour on the river itself. It was a great finale to my stay in Liverpool.  I suggest that all visitors to Liverpool also find a chance to try it out. Find a nice day (I know it's difficult), hop on the ferry, and see the side of Liverpool that you can only see on a boat.  

From the earlier article on Grandma Nitti's, you'll remember that I didn't have very much to eat the last time I came. That's why I decided to visit again. This time, to 'eat'. 

從上篇的食記可得知，上次來這沒吃到什麼食物。所以今天決定來雪恥一下。

I haven't a clue why it's called 'Naked' Cafe. Everyone, including waiters, waitresses, and customers all seem to be fully dressed. I guess it's something I'll never understand. But that's not important, really. The point is, the food is pretty good. We had come here for a petite reunion with our fellow mates from Liverpool.  It was actually a spur of the moment choice to come here, but it turned out to be a pleasant experience. 

不知道為什麼尼克咖啡的英文要教＂Naked＂？因為大家（包括服務員跟顧客）都有穿衣服啊！（naked：赤裸）。不過這不重要。重點是食物很不錯。我們這天來到這裡是爲了一個小型的利大校友聚會。其實決定來這裡是最後一秒才決定的。不過最後這決定好像還不錯呀。

Soon after my arrival at Liverpool, I had the honour of seeing Pete Postlewaite play King Lear at the Everyman. Before leaving Liverpool, I finally found the chance to visit the bistro. 

在我剛到利物浦不久後，我就有榮幸到Everyman觀賞Pete Postlewaite主演的李爾王。在我離開利物浦之前，我也終於有機會到Everyman樓下的小餐館用餐。

I had one extra week in Liverpool, after I got kicked out of my halls.  This was where I spend my last week.  It was quite an interesting experience. As I've heard from other visitors to the city, that the quality is quite satisfactory, and the price is affordable, too, I decided this was the place to end my days in Liverpool.

宿舍租約到期後我還有一個禮拜的時間要在利物浦。我就是在這裡度過我在利物浦的最後時光。這個經驗非常的有趣。之前聽過其他拜訪利物浦的友人說，服務不錯，價錢也合哩，就決定在這裡結束我在利物浦的日子。
