之前母親節來到了「雙聖」對面的「茹絲葵」。只是因為第一次去，還摸不清楚狀況，因此決定好好享受餐點，下次若有機會再去的話再寫食記囉！是說這次八八節還是選了老爸愛吃的牛排當大餐主題。以前印象中「雙聖」就是吃冰淇淋的。雖然這間打從以前念大學的時候，每回經過台中港路都會經過、看到，但就是沒機會進去吃吃看。本來也不知道該不該期待。後來想想，一間店能開這麼久都不倒，一定有他的道理在吧！
只是我們一進門，就遇到了新鮮事... 
服務生Ａ：您好！請問有訂位嗎？
我：有... 
服務生Ａ：好請稍等...（走掉）
服務生Ｂ走來後：您好！請問有訂位嗎？
我再說一次：有...
服務生Ｂ：請問貴姓？
我：錢...
此時服務生Ｂ正準備拿菜單並且找我們的位子，但又走來年紀稍大些，沒穿著制服看似不是店長就是經理不然就是老闆娘的人走來... 
請．問．有．訂．位．嗎？
我倒吸一口氣，溫和的答：有～（笑咪咪，指著服務生Ｂ）已經在幫我們找位子了。
見此狀，我原以為今天會是很糟糕的經驗... 還好大家都在興頭上。
只是問了開瓶費一事，又發生狀況了！
服務生原本說開瓶費是一百。後來點完餐又急忙過來糾正說他說錯了，開瓶費是兩百。我們開玩笑說他會不會每過來一次開瓶費就增加一百啊！（傻眼）
雖然說有些脫線的狀況，但大致上還算親切啦！只是很納悶，為什麼老字號的餐廳會有這樣脫線的服務狀況呢？

雖然有點忘了第一個的菜名，但只記得光聽菜名就知道吃完一定飽的不得了。哪還吃得下主餐啊！所幸就點了自己喜愛的燻鮭魚。
 
今日湯（南瓜）Soup du jour. (Pumpkin)
問了服務生說裡面有什麼。原本聽到有培根想說乾脆我不要喝湯了。後來服務生提議我的那份可以不加培根。送上來之後，其他有培根的湯撈撈才發現也才沒幾塊，而且看似是起鍋後才跟麵包塊放進去的。也難怪可以特製成不放培根的了！
大蒜麵包。Garlic Bread.
很普通的味道。沒有特色。
凱薩沙拉。Caesar Salad.
水果優格 Fruit Yogurt Salad. 
看起來很膩，但其實意外的清淡。只有這兩種沙拉可選，我又不愛凱薩醬。就選了這個。
當天有三個人點了牛排。有點忘了他們是點哪兩種。（好像是兩份肋眼跟一份牛小排？）
我們家習慣之五分熟以下的。來這種餐廳，倒是可以大膽地要求只要三分熟。
牛肉的品質好，不沾醬也就很好吃了。
法式烤鮭魚 Grilled Salmon
因母親大人不想吃牛排，就點了魚。好吃歸好吃，但最後還是吃不完（主餐前的東西真的太多）
黑胡椒碳烤雞腿排 Chicken thighs
不吃豬也不吃牛的我，原本在魚排以及雞腿排之間猶豫不決。後來老媽點了魚，也可以分給我嚐個幾口，就改點雞腿排了。
魚排跟雞腿排旁都有附上飯，但真的很飽！雞腿我只吃掉一塊！（其實上菜時看到有兩塊有嚇到！）後來吃了一半的魚排跟另一塊雞腿排，還有飯，都沒吃完。打包回家當消夜去了。
因為今天點的是套餐來著，所以主餐過後還有飲料、甜點、冰淇淋！
首先上的是大家的飲料。
冰的（不是台語）熱的都有人點。
最後的壓軸就是冰淇淋啦！不過此時大家都已經亂了手腳，又怕這冰淇淋會融化（它真的會融化！）所以就只拍了一張代表。這冰淇淋果真是它們的招牌，好吃啊！
不過長輩們是覺得對他們來說還是太甜。其實我也不太愛吃冰淇淋的，但點了個這種大品牌中算是安全的口味：蘭姆葡萄，算是不錯！
 
雖然前面發生了一些令人傻眼的事，但幸好大家都在興頭上，也沒壞了氣氛。當作是笑話一場就是。
以食物來講，主餐的部分大家都很滿意。大家的結論是，品質只比茹絲葵差一截，但價錢卻差了一大半。算是CP直非常高的牛排館了。之後應該還會來，希望服務生們的訓練可以再加強點，這樣整個用餐過程會更舒服。

為了下周的中秋連假，這周大家就得辛苦點的多上一天班。因此天仙為了慰勞大家的辛勞，特地插播一則超鬼扯的食記與大家分享。這地方起初是在鬼扯天王泰瑞的格子上看到的。與友人分享後決定揪團來這邊一探究竟。其實這這次聚餐也是歷經了一波三折。最初預定的時間被颱風打亂了。後來第二次的時間竟發現可以參與的人並沒有太多。只好又再延一個禮拜。但最後還是有人臨時有事無法加入啊！
For the sake of a long weekend next week, all of us need to, first, survived this long working week. Therefore, in order to give you a bit of comfort, I've decided to share this post with you during this long working week. I first heard about this place through another blogger. After sharing with friends, we've decided that we must come and try it ourselves. It had been quite a hassle trying to get as many to join this dinner. We had to cancel our first appointment due to a typhoon. Then, there weren't enough people to join... finally we agreed with a third date. But pity, there was still one that couldn't join us in the end.
雖說喬時間的過程也算是有點辛苦，不過這一切都很值得啊！瞧瞧菜單就會知道為什麼這裡一定要人越多越划算了！這裡根本不適合三兩好友的小聚會（除非你多金）。
Despite tha hassle of trying to arrange a time good for everyone, it was well worth all the trouble! After you've scrutinized the menu, you'll realise why we did all we can to ensure that we got as many people to join us as possible. It was not a place suitable for a small group of two to three (unless you're affluent, of course).
原本我們訂的位子不是包廂，但剛好當晚有人臨時取消，工作人員就自動幫我們升級（免低消）。入座後先到的朋友們都紛紛跑去洗手間，使剩我一人顧座位。此時服務人員來貼心地告知設備：餐巾紙、濕紙巾、與牙線都在兩側的抽屜裡（不占餐桌空間）。另外，桌子的一角還貼心的設計了手機充電專用的插座。（這些都沒入鏡）
We were arranged to sit at the open area initially, but a group made an eleventh hour cancellation, and we got to upgrade to this box with no minimum charge required. The rest of the gang that arrived first all left to use the loo. I was left at the table alone, when the waitress came and explained that the tissues and stuff were in the drawer (smart design to make more room on the table!) and that if anyone needed to charge their phones, there were plugs on the other side of the table leg. 
最有特色的就是這個圍兜兜。套上去之後就不用怕湯汁到處亂噴弄髒了衣服。（感謝有人犧牲色相入鏡示範～）
Quite a unique feature is this bib. Drape it over your chest, and you wouldn't have to worry about the splishy splashy soup.
既然標榜著「皇室祕藏鍋物」，當然就表示這裡的主題就是讓大家來當皇帝、太后啦。從鍋子本身的設計，一直到每一種鍋底，都有著不一樣的內涵。
Of course, since the theme of this place is 'Imperial Hot Pot', everything had to do with making you feel like an emperor/empress. From the design of the pot itself, to the different kinds of soup...

前一天晚上晚餐前在海安路上漫步，看到了此景，便與友人提議，不如隔天早餐就來這裡吧！友人爽快地一口答應。本來也沒什麼特別的期待。他好不好吃我不知道，只知道跟好友一起度過的時光，無論是好的或不好的，都很值得珍惜。
During our walk along the road the previous night, we walked pass this place. I suggested that we could do breakfast here. My friend agreed without hesitation. Initially, I didn't have any particular expecation. I didn't know if the food here was good or not. All I knew was that every moment spent with a dear friend, was worth cherishing. 
雖然是睡到自然醒，但兩個人卻都八九點就睜開眼睛。話雖如此，但卻還是依舊賴在床上不想起來。直到發現時間好像到了，才勉強起床梳洗，準備來個早午餐探險。
Neither one of us had our alarm set, but both of us ended up awakening quite early (for a Sunday). We lingered on the bed, unwilling to get up. Until it was time... We reluctantly got up and got ready for our breakfast exploration.
 
其實這種早午餐店可是到處都有的。天龍國也不是沒有。但似乎在台南才會有這種愜意感的早午餐店。
Honestly, these brunch places are everywhere. They can be found in Taipei, too. But I think it is only in Tainan, that you'll find a place with such a serene atmosphere. 
來的也不算早了，但店裡就是空蕩蕩的只有我們這一桌。是因為不好吃吧？（你開始擔心了嗎？）
It wasn't that early when we arrived, but we were the only ones there. Yeah, the food's probably not that good. (I hear your worry...)
這種早餐店最可愛的地方就是一個忽略就容易錯過許多店家精心布置的小細節。食物到底好不好吃？稍待在揭曉喔！
The cutest thing about these places, is the tiny details that are easily neglected. As for the food? Well, the truth will be out... soon!
就在我們忙著按快門，記錄著這裏每一個小細節的同時，其他組客人也陸續來了！
While we were busy taking photos of the details of the shop, other customers started to arrive as well.
看起來，這間也是老房子改建的。保留了一些老舊的設計，再加入一些新的元素。
It looks as though this place was also refurbished from an old house. Some of the old designs were kept, and new elements were added.
這間店的寧靜氣氛，是我們兩好友覺得最享受的部分。
It was quality time for two friends who enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the shop.
餐點未上，先來杯果汁。
Before the meal, came a fresh glass of juice.
隨著而來的就是今天的早午餐。
And shortly to follow, was the meal itself.
光看照片就知道，我想不用我多說，這份早餐實在是有夠美味！
From the picture, I'm sure it's needless for me to say how good it was! 
餐後上的是附餐飲料。
And the coffee that came with the set came right after the meal.
不知道在哪裡看見的文字，說好朋友，就是即使不說話，片刻的寧靜也不會使得彼此尷尬。
I can't remember where I saw these words, but the saying goes that when you're with a good friend, it means that there is no such thing as awkward silence. 
上餐後除了「好吃」、「好好吃」，其實別的也沒多聊。只是想要安靜地享受這一切。
During the meal, all we said to each other was how delicious the food was. Nothing else much was talked about. We both wanted to enjoy the silence. 
與其絞盡腦汁想著接下來應該要聊什麼呢？不如就用寧靜的方式來享受彼此的陪伴吧！
Rather than attempting to come up with something to say, why not just enjoy each other's company in the quietness?

這次來到台南，說實在的也沒做什麼特別新奇的事。但每次來台南，即使是舊地重遊，每次的感覺都很不一樣。有時候是因為陪伴的人不同，所產生感覺上的差異。這並不是壞事。試想，與有些人可以刺激，跟另一些人又有新奇，而跟某些特定的人又能夠平淡，怎會是一件壞事。雖然海安路不算沒來過，但此趟卻還是有新鮮事。在老房子裡住上一晚就已經夠新鮮的了。另外，當然還有與好友細細品嘗美食的樂趣，添加了更多色彩。
I never really do anything spectacularly grand or exciting when I'm in Tainan. However, every visit, even if I go to the exact same spots, the experience would always be slightly different. Sometimes the difference is caused by the company. Of course, this is, by no means, a bad things. Think this through: with different people, you get to experience exciting, novel, and tanquil Tainan with each trip. I just don't see how that can possibly be a bad thing. Of course, during this trip, there were new and old experiences mixed together. I've been to Hai-an Road before, but spending a night in an old house was definitely something new! Not to mention, a good friend was also there to accompany me through a wonderful meal.
海安路上店家眾多，但朋友卻只推薦這間。想必一定是有他的原因在。雖然我對食物的美味度不算太挑（還是更重服務態度），何況有好友相伴真的對食物就更不挑了！因此也就自然不會去想試試其他的地方了。
Many restaurants stand along the road, but my friend highly recommended this place. I was sure she had a point. I'm not really picky on food (I care more about the service). I didn't mind going anywhere, as long as I had the company of my friend. Therefore, I had absolutely no desire to try other places. 
無論是多美味的食物，美食當前，還是別忘了要多吃青菜。
No matter how delicious the food is, one must remember to eat lots of veggies.
第一道菜上桌：烤七里香。
There's a beautiful name in Chinese for this: 'Seven Li Aroma'. However, one must realise that this is actually... in reality... chickens' behind... 
這是蒜香杏鮑菇。
Garlic fried mushroom.
烤魚下巴。有我最愛的檸檬味。吃得很開心！
Grilled fish jaw. Perfect with lemon. 
烤蝦。很鮮甜！因為只有兩隻，剛好一人一支。不過如果我在貪心點的話，其實還想要再多點一份呢！
Grilled prawn. Perfectly cooked! Fresh and sweet. Would've ordered more if I could!
當然還有酒促！
You'll also find sexy ladies trying to sell their beer at these places. (Yes, they sell beer only... don't even try...)
炒海瓜子
Fried clams.
除了魚下巴之外還是點了份一夜干。烤的恰到好處！當然還有我愛的檸檬味搭配，更美味了！
Another fish dish to end the feast. It was, once again, perfectly grilled. And, once again, came with lemon, my favourite way of having my fish!
因為有點飄雨現象，所以店家還把棚子搭了起來。想必應該也只有台北以外的地方能這樣占用人行道吧。科科～
It was somewhat sprinkly, so they pulled out the tent. These people were seated on the pedestrians' walk. I think this can only happen in places outside of Taipei.
歐對了，這地方雖稱不上「大」，但竟然還有歌手駐唱。只是他在棚子外頭唱，我們看不見他，音效好像也稍有影響。好處是，雖有人駐唱，但不至於大聲道聽不到彼此說話囉！
Oh, did I mentionabout the singer? The strange thing was that he was kind of secluded. The accoustics was affected a bit, but on the plus side, you didn't have to yell at each other to be heard.
雖然與其他間無緣，但這間我至少可以說，好吃。絕不是雷！
Although I've never tried any of the other places, I'd still say that this place was pretty satisfactory! The food's good! At least, I wasn't disappointed!

這是一個屬於好朋友的夜晚。
This was a night that belonged to two good friends.
相信看完上篇介紹後，應該對於房間內部多少有點期待了吧？！偷偷跟你說，其實打開房門的那一瞬間，我們可是high到最高點！
After seeing the last post about the public areas of the lodge, I believe you must have high expectations for the room itself! Let you in on a secret here... we were extremely thrilled the moment the door opened up! 
這不是一間高級旅館。但是種享受，是在高級旅館享受不到的寧靜！
This is not a five-star hotel. But the serenity is not what you can enjoy in five-star hotels!
讓我們來瞧瞧這房間吧！
Now, let's take a look at the room!
浴室有淋浴設備，以及非常復古的浴缸。
Shower, and a retro bath tub.
很喜歡這種復古卻乾淨的風格。
I really like this retro, but clean style.
這牌子也剛好跟這風格很搭。
The design of this particular brand incidentally goes well with the deco here.

可以直接看到一樓。
You can look straight down to the ground floor.
早晨或傍晚過後坐在這兒聊聊天很不錯。
Great place for a bit of chat in the morning or after dusk.
很喜歡「歡迎回家」這句話！
Some words they left for guests, starting with 'Welcome Home', which, I believe, would touch the heart of many guests spending the night here.

好幾本留言本，閒暇時間拿來翻翻看。其實各個都充滿了溫馨及創意之言。
Notes for guests to leave some words for them. Flip them through, and you'll see pages of warmth and originality. 
其實是廣告，但是很莫名地接受了這樣的廣告。
It's a way of promoting the sweet in the jar. But somehow, I find this acceptable. 
 
復古電扇。
Retro fan.
原本想要放水來泡個澡，但熱水器不會調。等了半天水還是不夠熱。最後還是放棄泡澡。
We were thinking of soaking in the hot bath. But there was a glitch, and we couldn't get the water warm enough. In the end, we had to give up the idea of having a bath.
不過沒關係！
Didn't matter, though.
入夜後整棟樓散發出不一樣的氣息喔！
The place has a completely different atmosphere after dark.
這裡往外看可見鄰近的廟宇。
You can see the nearby temple from the balcony.
當晚風有點大，牆上的木板便演奏了個小曲目給我們聽。
There was light breeze all through the night, and the wooden frames on the wall decided to perform a song for us.
屬於好朋友的夜晚，似乎沒有盡頭。
The night between two good friends, seemed interminable.
香醇濃酒陪伴。我們的友誼，早就超過了這酒的年份了吧！
Quality scotch to accompany the night. Our friendship is older than this whiskey, right?
不過，人終究還是得睡覺啊！相信明天府城還有更多驚喜等著我發掘！
In the end, we still needed to sleep. I believed there were even more surprises waiting the next day!
入睡前，還是看了一下屬於木子的故事。帶著他們的故事以及理念，溫馨的入眠。
Before bed, I read a bit of their story. And keeping thier story and concept in mind, I went to bed with the warmest feel.

我聽人家說，好朋友就是會一起做很多很瘋狂的事。其實也不一定要多瘋狂，很多我們做過的事情，可能不太能夠得到別人的理解。你是否有這種朋友？為何這篇會從這裡開始講起？因為這裡正是好朋友約我來台南的目的：來去老房子住上一晚。住就住，是哪裡瘋狂了？如果是你，你會特地跑去你家附近的民宿住上一晚嗎？沒錯！我朋友正是住在這間老房子附近的居民。正衝著這特色老房子，約了我這天龍國人來府城住上一晚。這一個晚上的小體驗，真的是很難忘的體驗。
 I heard that a good friend is someone with whom you would do lots of crazy things. Well, I don't know about 'crazy', but together, we sure have done many things that others would never come to understand. Do you have any friends like this? Why did I start this article with this? Well, because this old house lodge was the exact reason why I got invited to visit Tainan in the first place. Then what's so special, or so crazy, about this? Answer me this, then: would you spend money to sleep at a lodge that is right in your neighbourhood? I didn't think so. But once you've scrolled to the bottom and seen the entire place, you'll see why I think it was worth the trip from Taipei, just to spend a night here.
其實這篇不只是寫得有壓力，就連拍的時候以及整理照片時都感到有股莫名的壓力。如果知道這間房子的主人是誰，我想就可以理解為什麼讓我這個毫無攝影技巧可言的小小部落客會有如此的壓力。因為這間老房子的主人，正是攝影達人 - 飛魚。
I felt a lot of pressure writing this article. Not just that, but I felt it even when I was taking these pictures, and when I was thinking through how to present this article. The reason for that is because the owner of this lodge is a professional photographer!
有時間上上他們官方的部落格看看，你會發現拍攝出來的果然每張都是藝術。最後，我在一直提醒自己我只是分享個經驗而已，的這種心態下完成這篇。

如果你看了我之前分享的神農街，相信就會感受到這整條街的氣氛就是這樣古色古香，卻又不失現代感。這間老房子何嘗不是如此。
If you have seen my previous article about this street, where this lodge is located, you'll see that the entire street is the merge of the old and the new. This old house is yet another epitome of that harmony.
平時一樓開放給大家入內參觀。不想住也沒關係，但看到房間內部，相信你會真的想住上一晚的。
The ground floor is an exhibit area, open to public during certain hours. So if you don't want to spend the night here, that's fine, too. However, once you've seen the rooms, you'll find it hard to resist.
每一層樓都有個房間。我們住的是四樓。上圖中看到的，是五樓的房客還沒進來前我趕快偷拍一張的。
There's a room on each floor. We were staying on the fourth floor. The picture above is a picture of the loft I took before the guests of the 5th floor arrived.

每個角落都很適合拍照。
Every single corner of this place looks great in shots.
這也是為什麼，如果大家想看房間內部，就得再等等囉！（因為圖片真的太多了）
That's why you'll have to wait a bit to see inside our room. (There are just way too many pictures!)

一樓展示區裡有著這些年代已久的小物。特別拍了這張，因為讓我懷念起以前就是靠這種打字機學英打的（事實上我學英打的打字機比這個還要舊）
You'll find many old things sitting in the exhibition area on the ground floor. I took a picture of this, because it reminded me of the time when I was learning to type. But in fact, the type writer I used to learn typing on, was much older than this.
看見這串文字，不難發現這果然出自攝影師啊！

你會發現我這篇英文中沒有用"Bed and Breakfast"來描述這地方。因為他沒有附早餐。其實他也沒有電視也沒有收音機。整個夜晚，你就只聽見老房子想對你說的話，和你自己內心的聲音。
You'll notice that I didn't use 'bed and breakfast' to define this place. The truth is, they don't provide breakfast. Actually, there is no telly, nor radio either. All through the night, the only thing you'll hear, is the voice of the old house, and your own inner thoughts.
都市的吵鬧習慣了，你是否能夠接受這樣的寧靜？
Being so used to the noisy city life, can you take this serenity?
凡事充滿了精采、刺激是不錯。
It's great to be filled with colours and excitement.
但偶爾的黑白才能襯托出更多色彩。
But sometimes, black and white is the only way through which the colours will stand out even more!

到底要來早訪幾次，才會把台南逛透透呢？每一次來，台南都還是會有驚喜。每一次來的感覺都很不一樣。除了有好友相伴成了前往台南最大的動力，當然還有另一個原因就是每一次都有新鮮體驗。
I don't know how many trips I must take to Tainan, in order to see the entire picture of Tainan. There are surprises waiting every time I visit. Every time, the city gives you a different feeling. Other than the fact that good friends are here, another reason for the city's attraction, is that you get a whole new experience of the city every time you visit.
以前常在公園看到的椅子。
These used to be all over the parks in Taiwan.
這次朋友提議來去神農街住上一晚。說出來可能會很令人無法理解。其實神農街根本就是在我朋友居住的地區附近。但她打破了傳統，因為我們時常都是離家最近的，無論是多麼有趣，都是比較容易忽略的。因此，即使旁人可能不理解，我們也不在乎。就這麼執著著來這裡住上一晚了。
My friend suggested that we come and spend the night here. People might have a hard time understanding this logic, since this neighbourhood is very close to where my friend lives. However, it is often that you neglect sites of attraction closest to you. Therefore, we didn't care what people thought, and insisted on spending the night there.
唉喲！想嚇誰啊！

燈光照射出來，整條街又變得更有味道了。
The lighting of the alley makes the place even more spectacular.
不過越晚，更要記得輕聲細語。
But the later the evening, the quieter you'll have to remember to be.
在這喝上一杯，應該也是挺不錯低。

小時候對『台南』的印象就只有：1. 是舅舅住的地方 2. 去外婆家可以換車的地方。漸漸地開始有當地的朋友後，才開始一點一滴的慢慢的認識這個可愛的城市。大家都說台南是個好地方。我想這句話應該沒有人會否認。我們常聽人說台北哪裡不好、高雄哪裡不好，卻是很少聽人嫌棄台南。這個可愛的城市，真的很值得你一來再來，而且每一次，都要慢慢地，才會真正體會到台南的精隨。
It used to be that my only impressions on Tainan was that it was where one of my uncles lived, and that it was where I could transfer coach to granny's. Later on, as I gained my own Tainan friends, I had the chance to get to know the city, little by little. Everyone would say that Tainan is such a wonderful place. In fact, I don't think anyone would deny that. We've all heard complaints about Taipei and Kaohsiung, but we rarely hear people complain about Tainan. This lovely city surely deserves multiple visits, and each time, make sure that you slow your pace down, in order to really experience the essence of the city. 
這些照片攝於「海安路」。許多建築在一群藝術家的創作下起死回生，這裡成了熱鬧的小地方。沿途也會看到許多拍照的人在這兒閒晃。
These pictures were taken along Hai-an Road. These buildings were revived by a group of artists, and eventually, the place became a popular site for photo shooting, or just wandering around.
台南應該是全台灣新舊融合最完善的地方了吧！如何將新與舊融合卻一點都不衝突，台南辦到了。
I think Tainan must be the epitome of where the old and the new could coexist in harmony. There isn't the slightest bit of clash between the old and the new. 
其實都是老舊建築，但是加上一點鮮豔色彩，就變得煥然一新。
These buildings are all old ones, but with a bit of bright colours, they become a brand new site of attraction!
在這裡，你可是要隨時留意著一些小細節。往往這些都是最搶眼的，卻是最容易被錯過的。
You must keep your eyes open for the smallest details, as these are often the most easily neglected.
就連孩子們的笑容，也成了最搶鏡頭的一幕。

這陣子聽說將海安路重新熱鬧化最大工程的藍海圖即將走入歷史。雖然不是台南人，雖然至今這作品也已經掉漆，色彩不比以往鮮豔，但還是稍稍覺得有點小不捨。
Recently, I've heard that this work of art, known as Blue Print, is about to become history. Although I am not from Tainan, and although the work has lost a bit of its magnificence, still, it's a pity to let it go. After all, this was the work that made the revival of this neighbourhood possible, right?
 
不過台南仍舊還是值得一來再來的好地方。感覺，他是一個將全台的好全部聚集在一地的精華地帶。也難怪，無論到了哪裡，周末假日總是會擠滿了人潮。
Nonetheless, Tainan remains a place that is worth keep returning. It's as though, Tainan has gathered all the best of Taiwan into a single place. No wonder, no matter where you go, each of the attractions will be crowded with people!

雖然過生日的那一整天老天很給面子的只下了幾滴雨，到了隔天，終究還是下了雨。因為是機遊，雖然穿著雨衣，不過這雨水透過騎車的風速打在臉上還真是疼啊～ 所以決定了這天的行程不要排太多。早點回台北好了。只是，原本預計要去蘭陽博物館，但到了才發現兩個人身上都沒現金了！一問之下得知也不能刷卡。於是我們用信用卡買了杯咖啡，喝了之後就準備去覓食了。沒想到餐廳也是只收現金的！只好就先騎車去找個最近的提款機先領錢再說。領了錢之後決定還是回到烏石漁港那兒去吃好了！也懶得再找別間了。我說少了那麼點兒人情味的意思，就是原本第一回拉客的時候，感覺還挺熱情的。怎麼看我們特地跑去領錢還願意回來，卻一點都沒有被我們感動到耶！唉！真是千金難買早知道啊！
It had been nice all day during my birthday, and for this, I was sincerely thankful. We weren't so lucky the next day. Since we were on our scooter, with the speed of the scooter, the raindrops were quite painful when they hit your face. We decided to curtail our second day and return to Taipei sooner than we had originally anticipated. However, when we got to the Ilan Museum, we realised that we had used up all our cash, and that they didn't accept credit cards... So we paid our coffee with our credit card, and decided to head to lunch. Little did we know, the restaurants didn't accept credit cards either! It was enevitable that we had to get some cash. So we hopped on the scooter, found an ATM, and got some cash. Then, we went back to the restaurant, thinking they'd be so touched that we came back. Well, they weren't at all touched. If I had known they were such ungrateful dudes, we should've just went to the one next to it... 
反正都已經決定了，肚子也跟著餓了起來。將就點就吃了吧！
Oh well! Since we were hungry, we might as well... 
點完餐後，店家告訴我們因為附近台電施工的關係，所以會停電。雖然說這也不是店家的錯，而且附近的每一間餐廳都會停電，但怎麼我還是覺得少了那麼點人情味。
After we made our order, they told us because of construction work, the electricity would be out. I know this was not their fault, but somehow, I was still feeling a bit cranky about how they were not at all touched by our return.
首先登場的是蔥油雞。基於只有兩個人吃，所以吃得很過癮。某人知道這是我愛吃的，所以也是絕對不會跟我搶的。
First up - cold chicken. There were only two of us, and seeing that this was one of my all time favorites, I ate as much as I could! Very satisfying!
炒海瓜子。味道一般般。可能是平常吃慣我姑姑炒的，因此很少會覺得外面的炒的好吃。
Fried clams. Tasted normal. I think I've been spoiled by my aunt's fried clams, so I rarely find other places' fried clams any good.
本餐青菜：炒海菜。沒什麼特別好講的。看到肉絲有點愣住（我不吃肉）。不過這也在意料之中啦。
Fried sea veggies. I was a bit stunned by the meat in the veggie dish. But, it was sort of expected in these places, I guess.
海鮮炒麵。好像還挺不錯的。不過在寫這篇的過程，我一直對他們沒有很感動我們回來這件事情很在意耶 XD
Seafood fried noodles. It was rather good. But even until now, during the write up of this article, I'm still holding my grudge against them!
雖然已經隔天了，但假期還沒結束，所以啤酒還是要的啦！
I know it was the day after my birthday. But the trip wasn't over! So the beer was totally justifiable!
  
但你知道要騎車的不能喝，所以這瓶，當然又是沒人跟我搶啦！
And since drinking and driving don't go together, and somebody had to get on that scooter... all that beer went straight down my throat! 

某人知道我喜歡草莓，便提議了晚上可以買個奶凍來吃。不說我還不知道，原來諾貝爾奶凍很有名喔？還沒看到店裡招牌時還不知道奶凍到底是什麼東西。一看才知道，果然會是我喜歡的東西。
Well someone knew about my craze for strawberries. It being my birthday, afterall, he thus suggested that we get this strawberry cake for celebration. I didn't realise how famous this Cake Nobel was. I didn't know what the fuss was about, until I saw the sign with a picture of the cake. Then, I knew that it was something I'd like.
因為是名產，所以店裡非常忙碌。我們進去之前剛好也有台遊覽車載著觀光客來買伴手禮。
It was a famous shop. The place seemed very busy. When we arrived, there was also a big bus full of people that were there to buy these cakes as gifts.
雖然產品很多，但吸引我的還是裏頭裹著草莓的這個招牌奶凍。
There were many kinds of products for sale. But I still wanted to try the strawberry cake.
店家很大方，許多東西都可以先試吃。
They are quite generous in that they provided samples for many of the items.
有吃喜歡再買。
You can have a bite and try their taste before deciding what to buy.
話說回來，這天畢竟還是生日。雖然前一天有嚷嚷著吵著要蛋糕，不過卻有個小小的遺憾：今年的歲數是我最喜歡的數字。前一天的蛋糕，沒有數字蠟燭。其實會來諾貝爾買奶凍，也是為了要彌補這點小小的遺憾。於是，就在我們吃了鵝肉、石窯雞後，又繼續吃了奶凍當甜點。
Well, you must keep in mind that it was my birthday. Although I already had a cake the day before, there was a small regret. This was a very special year for me, and I had wanted to have a cake with numbered candles on it. But we had failed to find the candles the day before. So, this was why I was brought to this place, after finding the numbered candles, and this was also why we were having this cake, after the goose meal and the chicken meal!
也彌補了我想要在蛋糕上寫上歲數的心願～
And finally, after the candles were lit - no more regrets.

ps. 忘了說，奶凍真的很好吃！不要看我們切成那樣。這真的是我愛吃的蛋糕種類。
ps. I forgot to mention that the cake tasted wonderful! It was exactly the type of dessert I loved!
